Antes era un desayuno que daban en la novena planta donde podías elegir desayuno europeo o japonés, y ahora lo han sustituido por unas tostadas con mermelada y una máquina de café en la entrada del hotel sin sitio para sentarse y teniendo que llevarte tú mismo una bandeja desde la entrada hasta la novena planta

- Miranda_13 (10/5): Perfect little hub for exploring - Location is great, very close to the Asakusa line and lots of places to eat. A great hub for visiting areas around Tokyo. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the lounge is a great space for eating take out (or a picnic from Family Mart or 7-Eleven!). Breakfast and coffee are very simple, but a perfect little wake up before heading out for the day. There really wasn't much not to like! The room and bathroom are very small, but we knew that when we booked so it wasn't a surprise - just be warned if you have cases!

Uitzicht in de 'eetkamer' op de 9e verd is leuk over het water en op de Skytree Tower.

- snowyweston (4/5): Not the worst, but certainly not the best - Asakusa, Tokyo - it's where everyone ends up at some point or another, no? (Having been before) we knew how busy Asakusa gets, and what our (limited) budget - at the tail end of 16 days romping across Japan during Sakura season - would afford us. So, whilst certainly not a "budget" option, Tamayura Hotel would suffice - well-situated with a view over the Sumida River should make the asking price worth it, no? Alas... The "breakfast" was self-serve toast (using the slowest toasters known to mankind) + generic coffee or tea The roof deck is barren, devoid of any seating (a great shame given the view it enjoys) The in-room TVs were channel-locked - w/ no external cast/connect or options (we don't holiday to watch TV, but still?) ... The sleep-unsettling sound of critters in the void spaces. Yup, CRITTERS! We complained. We got a room swap -but no compensation. Not even an apology! Caveat emptor!

- Tobias (8/5): Nice small hotel in walking distance to Asakusa Station. - Excellent little hotel in the middle of Asakusa with friendly staff. Small rooms with nicely smelling tatami mats and a comfortable bed. The river view on the 9th floor in the common room or from the roof is nice. If you travel with a big suitcase you have a bit of a problem. Two people and 2 big suitcases in a single room and you will suffer. For a single person like myself with a carry-on and a backpack it was perfectly fine. If you get a room facing the road you might need earplugs. I got one facing a backyard and i was fine. Not much to complain about considering the size, class and price range of the hotel. I can't understand the critical reviews. I think they are mostly based on wrong expectations. Like expecting a big European or US sized hotel room with all its amenities. My only minor critique point is maybe the breakfast. It's basically toast, marmalade and butter and coffee or tea. You have to decide if the price difference is worth it. In the middle of Asakusa you can find nice cafes, bakeries and combinis that offer a bigger choice, so maybe book without breakfast and pickup something on the way.

- Dariana nairobi (4/5): - Just location and staff They only have the bed; they have nowhere to hang clothes or a table to put basic everyday items.so everything has to be put on the floor, really bad because it’s not cheap. MY WORST EXPERIENCE IN TOKYO WAS THIS HOTEL.

- LAETITIA (7/5): Trop cher - La vue depuis la salle de restauration. L’accueil, le personnel, la possibilité de laisser nos bagages avant le Check in. Les produits d’hygiène à disposition. La localisation proche de la gare d Asakusa. Le petit déjeuner. Juste des toasts, confiture beurre, thé, café, stickers de soupe d’oignon ou de maïs. Le petit déjeuner est disponible au rez de chaussée puis vous montez au 9eme étage pour le consommer ! Pas de table de chevet dans les chambres. Pas de lumière au niveau de la tête de lit, donc vous ne pourrez pas lire. La TV est posée sur une petite étagère de fortune dans laquelle vous trouverez le sèche cheveux. En effet, la salle de bain est si petite qu’elle ne peut accueillir le sèche cheveux. Pas de chaise pour y déposer des affaires. Il y avait la place de mettre un placard ou au moins un moins une tringle pour y suspendre du linge, mais l’espace est resté vide (dommage). Pas de rideaux à la fenêtre qui donne sur un mur donc vous serez réveillés par le jour. Nous étions chambre 903.
- Nina (1/5): Would never stay here again - Nothing Everything The walls are thin, the windows are thin. There was so much light at night and noise from the road. Everything is dirty. I understand that hotels are small in Tokyo but this was something else.

- Noelia (8/5): Buena ubicación, pésimo desayuno incluido. - La ubicación es lo mejor. Se nos rompió una maleta, tuvimos que comprar otra y nos pedían 30€ por quedarse con la rota y tirarla ellos, nos pareció un despropósito. Decía que incluía el desayuno en la reserva y lo que ponen en la recepción del hotel es pan de molde, una cafetera de cápsulas y te. Ya no hay más. No bajamos ninguno de los dos días a desayunar, obviamente. La habitación es muy pequeña, por un lado de la cama tienes espacio para salir, pero la persona que duerme en el lado de la pared tiene que salir de lado.

- Asako (7/5): 浅草観光目的で、素泊まり感覚なら良いと思います。 - アクセスは良かったです。最上階からスカイツリーも見えました。 確認してなかったため拍子抜けしたのですが、朝食はトーストのみでした。 部屋は布団が薄く空調も効きが悪く寒かったです。 清潔さに関しては問題ないと思います。 車の音もするので、ホテルでリラックスしたい方には、部屋によっては向いてないかもしれません。

- Danilo (3/5): Very Dissapointed - Location is convenient Communication is difficult -emailed several times the is like robotics and does not provide options. Stayed 6 nights and us into a very small room. I was looking at the room lay-out I can see that they stuck us into the room that was converted to 2 small rooms. Advertised photo is not the same in person. And they don't want us to move to a regular size room that they have. For 2 people and 6 nights stay the accommodation is not acceptable - very uncomfortable the bed is too small for 2 and only 2 hard pillows per room - not good
