Guest Reviews
- Lizette (2/5): Meh. Not worth it. - Check in was weird. Guy wrote down my credit card number but had no machine to run it thru. Kinda sketchy. Next day, another employee asked for my picture ID again because the guy from the previous day didn’t make a copy of it. Sliding door in the living room didn’t lock. Safe was too small and wouldn’t have been able to fit a laptop if I’d had one with me. One of the shower knobs shocked you while you were in the shower. Not sure how that’s possible but it happened. The worst part was upon check out. Staff claimed we had stained one of their sheets and it was going to cost $250 MXN to clean. The supposed stain was actually a soap stain from where the sheets were not rinsed properly but there’s no arguing with people who are trying to cheat you out of more money. I was also charged about $7 USD more on my credit card than the agreed upon amount when I made the reservation and I know it had nothing to do with the exchange rate. If anything, it should’ve been less because of the exchange rate. Showers were supplied with salt water. Never had that before but not cool. We had our whole family visiting and the only nice thing about this place was the fact that there were three bedrooms and each had their own bathroom. If you need the extra space, you might be okay with staying here but if not, save your money as it is not worth the cost for a “beach” property when you can’t even walk to it or see it from the hotel. FYI, address posted on hotels.com is incorrect.
- John (4/5): Could be great, but poorly maintained - Strange experience - the apartment is huge - 3 bedrooms, all with comfortable king size beds, 4 bathrooms, big kitchen with an island, and nice sitting area. Pool is nice. But virtually no pots and pans, no hot water at night, but had it in the morning, and the sliding door to the pool area lock was broken so not able to lock it at night. Plants were dying from lack of water. Could be very nice with a little attention, but apparently attention is not their forte. As it was - it was OK.
- Wayne (10/5): Good value - Good value for a huge 3 br suite. Very comfortable
- Nigel (6/5): Big space - good value for price paid - Big space & good value for price paid but brand new property & still needed builders snagging doing. Paint & plaster splashes on units & no hanging rails on furniture. Also you really need a car- 20k out of centre of Playa del Carmen & no shops/bars in local area.
- Antonio (4/5): No clean water or Hot water! - First the place is hard to get if you are arriving late, we had to call 3 times to get the exact location, after arriving we were inform about the water, since we noticed a strange smell, we were not allowed to cook, or even brush our teeth with this water, on top of that there was not hot water to shower. So we had to shower at another hotel room.
Basically the place has nice beds and pretty big living area, so the price of $55 per night was ok, for the sleeping. But I would never pay full price for this property.
