MARY (10/5): Sunny fabulous week at Cerro Branco 117 Albufeira - Had a wonderful holiday at apt 117, it was just fab. Apartment excellent setting, fab view, near pool,view of ocean, sun all day until sunset. Everything we needed was on hand. Fabrece at pool bar so.pleasant & helpful. My husband briefly met lady who owns/manages & said she is lovely also. The apartment itself was spotless, & spacious, and a lovely welcome touch with a bottle of wine & water, which we duly replaced! I could sit on that veranda all day long, I would return in a heartbeat if i could,oh for some sunshine in Ireland! Inside everything was good, but two small things and these are observations a d not complaints. The water appeared brown in shower &toilet and left a little skum, perhaps this could be looked into. Also mattresses were not the most comfortable, but then I suffer from arthritis also. Maybe a few extra firm pillows wouldn't go astray. I feel this apartment has a lot more to offer in terms of light & warmth if the brown wood was painted maybe white/cream, also the curtains could be replaced similarly. The decor is dated and I feel a few hundred euro spent on same could give the apartment a whole new look. As i said these are not complaints just my views, as requested. I will definitely return to this apartment and look forward to same. Every good luck with it. Oh, also thank you kindly for organising our taxi man, Jorge, he was lovely and great local advice.
