Harriet (6/5): Nice views but over priced - The view is spectacular Lots of stairs to get up and they’re uneven so not good for elderly people. Implication was also that this was suitable for 3 adults but it was actually only for a couple. Interior was quite run down too so I don’t think it should be £250/night. I’d have said £100-120/night would have been fair.
David (5/5): convenient flat, but spoilt by the entry experience. - the view is excellent and the flat comfortable. I could not get access to the flat the first night, so had to go to a hotel. I tried to open the key safe outside the front door at 25A (the address was 25G), but it was the wrong door - and the key safe was on the third floor, not outside the front door. The instructions for entry were extremely poor - it would have been easy for them to clarify - and I tried to phone the office over 15 times, but the number was engaged the whole time. they did not supply a mobile number.
Elaine (7/5): Good - the view and close to all the amenities a bit of tlc and upgrade required. Although the sofa was very comfy it was very worn and one of the cushions was ripped. The bed could do with a new mattress as you could feel the strings. A bit more attention to detail with the cleaning. However, nothing that would stop us from returning.

John (10/5): Wonderful place to stay - North Berwick is a beautiful town on the firth. Bass Rock view apartment did what it said on the tin, fabulous view of the Rock and firth. Central for the beach and all local shops, bars and restuarants. Apartment was lovely, filled with everything you'll need. You get used to the 5 sets of stairs. Would thoroughly recommend a stay and we'll be going back. Make sure you take a boat trip, we were so lucky to see a pod of dolphins, amazing!
