Guest Reviews
- Joyce (5/5): Good location, warm apartment but requires a considerable upgrade to justify the price. - Location was good, right next to the beach. Spacious warm flat. Fire door in the kitchen is a hazard as you can't keep it open enough to get through it to get to the dining area in the living room, without difficulty. Bed in main bedroom needs replacing. Uncomfortable with lumpy mattress and ill fitting topper . Shower ran like a tap rather than a shower. Bathroom really needs updating. Some sort of blinds on the front facing ground floor rooms as property is on ground level with lots of people walking past on the pavement directly at the front of the property. Boiler in the second bedroom isn't really something that is now acceptable. Maybe needs relocating. Light timer in the communal close requires adjusting to prevent the sudden darkness as you are coming into the close.
- David (5/5): Value for money 👎 - Location is wonderful The flat is in an amazing location, but it really needs updating for the money you pay. It's very basic and really needs some love and money spent to justify the price
- sinead (10/5): Thoroughly enjoyable stay. - Perfect for a family trip to North Berwick. Property had all you need and lots of space! Very comfortable and homely feel. Location is ideal and the views were just gorgeous!
The staff dealing with check in were so helpful and clear on the instructions. I really felt that they couldn’t do enough to ensure that the stay was pleasurable! Nothing negative to report.
- Christine (10/5): Lovely holiday location. - Location cleanliness Nothing.
- Angela (10/5): Beach property - Excellent location
- Clint (6/5): A step back in time, not in a good way - Location is excellent. Straight onto the beach. View of Bass Rock. The sitting room is dated and feels like a shared bunk room. It has a tiny dark TV with DVD and CDs. The sofas need replacing as does the old floor mat. We didn't enjoy sitting in there.
- Janes (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lindsay (7/5): Good - Such a great location to be in for visiting the beach and the town and just along the road from the Seabird Centre. Lovely to have a view of the Bass Rock, Craigleith and the Isle of May. Cosy and comfy flat and well appointed. Street parking across from the flat was ideal. The kitchen could do with a good scrub. We had to wash most of the cups and dishes again before we could use them and didn't fancy digging too deep into the utensils drawer.
- Fiona (7/5): Great for a relaxed holiday by the beach but if you want super clean and attention to detail, this probably isn’t for yo - Very close to beach, casual and relaxed Very tired looking and not very clean. Found a previous occupants sock under the bed along with dust. Kitchen basic and not very clean. Ate out so we didn’t have to use the kitchen but would be nice to have cleaner crockery and oven wear
- Lisa (8/5): Great for families - Perfect location next to the beach, we would stay here again.
