Up a steep hill from the main town centre street. No problem for the taxi drop off but difficult dragging my suitcase down the hill in the morning to drop it off at the cruise baggage drop centre.

El hotel nos resulto muy centrico y con muchas facilidades cerca solo caminando, sin necesidad de utilizar vehiculo. Dado que el hotel se localiza en una loma, hicimos bastante ejercicio todos los dias. El lugar es muy silencioso y tranquilo para descansar. Recomiendo 100% este lugar. Sería de ayuda tener coffee maker en el cuarto.

• Roger (8/5): Gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältniss - Lage hervorragend, mitten in der Stadt (Autolärm hört man ab und zu entsprechend). Touren können im Hotel gebucht und bezahlt werden. Zum Frühstück gibt es alles was man benötigt. Vom Abfluss kommt phasenweise ein unangenehmer Geruch hoch. Einmal durchlüften, dann ist es behoben.

Atendimento nota 10 - Acolhimento simpático pelos funcionários, limpeza, todos os quartos são no térreo, café da manhã gostoso, camas macias, toalhas de banho cheirosas. Tudo tratado com muito cuidado e zelo. Hotel antigo com clima de pousada. Ah, e é silencioso. Eu estranho que os hotéis mantenham banheiras ao invés de box no chuveiro. É perigoso para pessoas de mais idade, com certeza.

Perto da rua principal de Ushuaia, perto dos restaurantes, bares, lojas, agências de turismo, perto do porto, do Canal de Beagle. O atendimento também excelente, equipe muito atenciosa, simpática, prestativa. Quarto excelente, a cama, travesseiros, ducha, nota 10. Limpeza impecável. Café da manhã excelente. Ótima relação custo benefício. Recomendo e, quando voltar a Ushuaia com certeza tentarei ficar no mesmo hotel. Parabéns a toda equipe. Adoramos! Não tenho nenhuma reclamação. Foi tudo excelente. Gostei de Tudo.

Nice to have the small kitchen - cooked dinner a couple of nights. Breakfast at hotel was very simple. Need to provide instructions for heaters and stove. Kitchen needs a few basic things like a chopping board, bigger frypan and a pair of tongs.

• HORACIO (8/5): Agradável e com conforto. - Os funcionários eram gentis e prestativos e a a limpeza diária muito boa. Outro ponto positivo é o café da manhã com boa escolha de pães e bolos. O meu quarto era perto da recepção e, por isso, bastante barulhento. Ouviam-se as conversas que nem sempre eram em tom baixo. O hotel é perto da rua principal mas a localização é numa rua de ladeira bem íngreme o que pode causar desconforto aos menos habituados a exercícios físicos.

Heating works amazingly and great to warm up after a day out in the cold. Walls are super thin (can hear neighbours snore) and the floors make noises, so make sure you’re a heavy sleeper or have earplugs.

• Cesar Augusto (10/5): Uma segunda casa em Ushuaia - Café da manha é simples porem muito gostoso e tem tudo que precisa ter. Cafe, leite, chocolote. Pao de forma, frutas frescas todos os dias e algumas especialidades proprias da argentina. Ele nao é buffet e sim servido por funcionária do local (muito educada e solicita). Unica coisa que senti falta foram ovos mechidos (havia ovo cozido somente)... Mas a nota seria um 8,5 de 10. Não haver ovos mechidos. Mas relamente não foi um problema a ponto de não gostar!

• Rafaela (10/5): - Fiz a viagem sozinha e me senti segura durante toda a estadia. Os quartos ficam no térreo. Quarto espaçoso. Chuveiro maravilhosa e quente. Quarto e banheiro com aquecedor. Café da manhã com variedade de opções, ovo cozido, salada de frutas, queijo, presunto, meia lua, pão doce, pão de forma, bolo, e outros. No quarto não tem cortina blackout, então o quarto não fica um breu, mas fica escurinho. Precisa colocar uma placa na porta para ter o serviço de limpeza. Quarto sempre limpo. Não tem condicionador e o shampoo é de sachê, cheirinho é bom. Sabonete é de barra. hotel é em uma subida, a princípio achei que teria dificuldade de chegar cansada e ter que subir a rua, mas foi bem tranquilo, tem escada ou rampa na rua. A localização dele é otimaaa! Todos na recepção são simpáticos e solícitos. Fechei o passeio do parque nacional com eles. Gostei bastante.

• Patrick (8/5): Helpful staff in an ideal location - Hotel Austral Ushuaia offers both rooms and studio accommodations. It's ideally located within a 5-minute walk of the Montiel Viajas Bus Sur bus terminal. It's also very close to the main street, San Martín (with its many dining options), and the bay in the Beagle Channel. A delicious, extensive breakfast was included and served in a large common area. The helpful staff at the reception desk were happy to arrange an airport shuttle. We stayed in a well-maintained studio, which is offered for three nights. This meant we had to pay for the night we couldn't stay due to transportation issues (buses to Ushuaia don't run every day in winter). They didn't inform us or offered to change to a room in the main building.

A cama é maravilhosa e o cafe da manhã é simples, mas muito gostoso e farto. Não são pontos negativos por si só, mas acho interessante destacar duas coisas: 1) para ir da avenida principal até o hotel você precisa subir uma ladeira um pouco íngreme 2) o café da manhã é bem diferente do que estou acostumada: você diz o que quer para uma funcionária e ela serve isso no seu prato, o que é um pouco incômodo, ja que prefiro me servir sozinha
