• Nicole (10/5): Hotel Girasole da Antonio e Barbara – ein Ort zum Wohlfühlen - Wir waren zum ersten Mal im Hotel Girasole da Antonio e Barbara und haben uns vom ersten Moment an sehr wohlgefühlt. Das Haus überzeugt durch außergewöhnliche Sauberkeit und Liebe zum Detail – für italienische Verhältnisse wirklich bemerkenswert. Jeder Aufenthalt wird hier zu einer Freude. Antonio ist ein hervorragender Gastgeber und ein echter Kenner der Region. Er gibt wertvolle Tipps zu den schönsten Stränden, informiert über Wind- und Wetterlagen und erleichtert so die tägliche Wahl des passenden Strandes rund um Villasimius. Auch wer sich für die Geschichte Sardiniens interessiert, ist bei Antonio genau richtig – sein Wissen darüber ist beeindruckend. Das Frühstück ist sehr gut und bietet für jeden Geschmack etwas – ein perfekter Start in den Tag!

• Michael (8/5): - Kleines aber sehr feines Hotel. In einem ruhigen Wohnquartiert gelegen und doch sehr zentral. Zu Fuss in 10 Minuten im Zentrum. Parkplätze hat's genügend ums Haus. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und besorgt. Leider hapert's etwas mit dem Englisch.

• Jonathan (10/5): Great place, and location with easy access to beaches and main street of Villasimius. What makes it special are the owne - The hotel itself is the perfect size. Not so big that you get lost going from your room to breakfast, but does not feel cramped. Rooms have private patios, and the breakfast area is indoor/outdoor. Everything is clean, well-maintained and the decorations are warm and welcoming.

• Antoine Galea (10/5): Excellent, spotless and very relaxing - Our stay at Hotel il Girasole was fantastic. We are a family of 3 and loved every minute of it. Located in Villasimius in a very quiet neighborhood with ample parking if you travel with your rented car. Every evening we used to walk to the center for dinner, the walk is only 10mins or less. Villasimius is a nice quite town but lively and center has a few options for dinner without long drives after a day at the beach. The main beaches in the area are within 15 to 30mins drive away. Antonio managing the hotel is extremely helpful with information where to have dinner, help with deciding which beach is the best due to wind etc and any other help one might need. Hotel is spotless, extremely clean and staff very attentive to all the details. Breakfast was also very good and staff provide very good ham, cheese, eggs etc if one prefers those to pastries. Nothing. Our stay was perfect

Posizione dell'Hotel eccellente per spostarsi nei dintorni. Colazione ottima e un grazie al proprietario Antonio e alla collaboratrice Barbara per il loro lavoro fatto di passione e professionalità. • Corine (8/5): Tous les jours très agréable dans cet hôtel de qualité, nous le recommandons - L’accueil le réceptionniste nous a tout de suite expliqué toutes les plages autour. Les chambres sont spacieuses et très propres avec soit une terrasse soit un Jardinet. Emplacement très proche du centre-ville à 10 minutes à pied. Le quartier est très calme. La dame du petit déjeuner est vraiment très sympa. L’écart de prix entre les chambres du haut et les chambres du bas ne se justifie pas Le petit déjeuner pourrait être mieux

• Guest (10/5): Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist TOP! - Es war ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt in diesem kleinen aber feinem Hotel. Frühstück wurde sehr schön angerichtet. Herzhaft oder süß. Es ist für jeden etwas dabei. Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend. Zum Frühstück wird man gefragt, welche Wurst, Käse oder gekochte Eier gereicht werden sollen. Das macht den Aufenthalt in diesem kleinen Hotel sehr persönlich und authentisch. Zimmer sind ebenfalls gemütlich und ausreichend eingerichtet. Zimmerreinigung funktionierte sehr gut und generell sind die Zimmer absolut sauber. Bei einem nächsten Urlaub in Villasimius würde ich dort wieder sehr gern einchecken.

• Fabian (9/5): We loved our stay and would highly recommend it! - We had a wonderful stay at this hotel in southern Sardinia. Antonio and Barbara, the owners, warmly welcomed us and made sure we had everything we needed. They were always available for any requests, information, or assistance, truly attentive to every guest’s needs. The hotel is very well managed, and their presence is very reassuring. The cleanliness was excellent, and our room had all the necessary amenities. We especially loved the charming private outdoor area attached to each room, which added a special touch to our stay. The breakfast was simple but of outstanding quality. Antonio and Barbara also gave us fantastic local tips, helping us discover places and experiences we wouldn’t have found on our own — their advice really made the difference. This is a cozy and inviting place that we would definitely love to return to. The location is also very convenient, just a few minutes' walk from the town center. The only minor issue for us was the fridge, as it was rather small.

• Georgia (10/5): - Antonio and Barbara were wonderful to deal with! They were so kind and helpful during our 4 night stay. The room was spacious and cleaned well everyday. The balcony was large and pleasant to spend time on. It also had a clothing drying rack with pins which was very helpful when we needed to do laundry in the middle of our trip or dry our bathing suits after a beach day. The garden on the property is also beautiful and full of flowers and greenery. Street parking was free and it is conveniently located about a 3 min walk away from the Conad (grocery store). The main strip with restaurants and shopping was located within 5 min walking distance. Antonio very kindly loaned us beach chairs, towels, and an umbrella during our stay so that we could enjoy the beautiful nearby beaches with extra comfort. We greatly appreciated that as we were able to enjoy the free beaches, which tended to be a lot better than the paid ones with rentals. My only real (and VERY minor) complaint is the breakfast. It is a perfectly adequate cafe style breakfast with fruit and pastries. Barbara makes great coffee and fresh juice. I just wish there was more option for eggs, bacon, toast. Personally, I'd happily pay more for these options. Overall, our stay here was great. We would recommend Il Girasole to anybody visiting Vallisimius. It is obvious how much care and attention Barbara and Antonio put into the property. It made for a very pleasant stay and we had a wonderful time. Thank you!

Breakfast was served-full offer (sweet&salty). Only 10minutes walk to the centre, 5min. walk to the supermarket. The hotel is situated in a very calm place of Villasimius. Everything was just perfect.

The breakfast was delicious and plentiful, our room was clean, very comfortable and the AC was very effective, parking was not a problem and this hotel is good value for money! But the best part were the hosts - Antonio and Barbara! They are super friendly, helpful and really made our stay in Villasimius memorable - they were always available in the morning to give us advice on beaches and restaurants. Everything was good !

Breakfast was rich and delicious, location great, the room was perfectly tidy and clean, but the best thing about the hotel is the owner and his staff! They are so warm and kind! We got more than we paid for (mirtillo, suggestions on restaurants and beaches etc.). I would definetly recommend and come again.

• Johanna (10/5): Amazing! Stay here for your vacation in Villasimius! - Where to start...the hotel is located a little bit away from the Villasimius "center" so it has very calm surroundings. Free, safe parking is provided in front of the hotel. The room was nicer in real life than in pictures, with a little terrace which was great. I asked for vegetarian breakfast options prior my stay and the hotel provided me with special vegan pastries, yoghurts and oat/soy milk for cappuccinos - so lovely! The staff was super friendly and helped us with everything. We got offered local liqueur Mirto and Antonio even checked the weather/wind with us before we headed out and helped us book a trip to a local winery. Truly an amazing stay! A bit small shower cubicles.

Lots of readily available hot water. Breakfast was all freshly provided to order and very good, with most options offered - just ask. Easy walking into town for food or shopping. Only thing that springs to mind was the shower + cubicle. They work but could do with replacing.

Hotel is in a central but quiet location with immaculate accommodations, a lovely terrace, amazing welcome from Antonio and Barbara, and excellent recommendations for hiking! We booked a second night thanks to Antonio who even drove us to the start of another beautiful beach hike! Couldn’t ask for a better or kinder host. Thanks again Antonio!

Everything was very clean, quiet neighborhood, very well maintained garden with covered terrace seating to relax, spacious room with another covered terrace seating area, free parking on the street. His advices about things to see and do around all Sardinia were great, also the restaurant recommendations (he also books tables). Ample choice for breakfast and fresh bakery of ones choice. I can highly recommend this accomodation.
