• Brayant (8/5): Rainy weekend in Tagaytay. - The residence is strategically located in Tagaytay. We stayed in Tower 2 of Wind Residences. The room initially assigned to us was a small studio unit (2345) without a view of Taal, and the floor was soaked with water, possibly from the air conditioning unit. I had booked a larger room with a view of Taal, but the room we were given was neither the same as nor similar to any of the photos shown in the advertisement. According to the owner, rooms are randomly assigned. During our visit, only one of the three lifts was working, resulting in a waiting time of 5-10 minutes to go up or down. The open parking area behind the Clubhouse was inconvenient, particularly during the rainy season when it became very muddy. Although there is a shuttle service, the waiting time is 20-30 minutes.

• Verified traveler (2/5): Wouldn't recommend - Occasionally, we booked SMDC for our unplanned trip. However, we did not receive any communication from the property regarding the fees we need to pay. 1. 450php parking fee for their covered parking inside the building. The "typical" parking they are offeri is located way back (2km) away from the building. 2. They charge additional 1000 php for an infant!!!! We had to call hotels.com and the owner to ask for a reasonable fee. They gave us 200php discount which by the way not communicated THROUGH the website. 3. We booked it for 4 adults but everything includin the towels, bed pillows are only prepared for TWO!!! Dont expect for basic toiletries like a small soap. Not sure how clean the room is, bedsheets and pillow cases was smell like it was sprayed a deodorizer or scent spray. Had to strip off the bed because our allergic rhinitis was acting up because of it. The toilet curtain has MOLDS. It looked like it was never cleaned or replaced.

Raising her voice, doesnt know how ro explain things and hanging up the phone if shes done talking. Liar!!!!! This is a hoax !! A lot of hidden fees. Useless cheap amount of facility because the owner is a very cheap person!!!!!
• Jj (2/5): - This is based on my personal experience. I have no intention to discredit or make it a general comment. First, I was pressured with the multiple calls from the "caretaker" where I was at -- starting from 2pm onwards. (Already told them Im gonna be late and will pay the late check in fee.) They still call, saying they are waiting for me.Secondly, the rooms are not that comfortable to stay with. Needs Improvement! Found ants too. Linens and blankets are old. Washroom are not that clean too. Overall, I am not satisfied with my stay.
• Cathryn (1/5): Horrible! - the lobby is clean and smells good , and the view from the unit is nice. The unit that we stayed at especially the 1725 was veryyyyyy dirty full of molds!! The bed and pillows have molds and smelly, the carpet is so dirty, and looks like it haven’t vacuum it for a while, the bathroom and bedroom have molds on walls the fridge have molds too, the kitchen cabinets have molds, and the pillows are so uncomfortable, they just cut a pieces of foam and insert it on pillow case, the towels and bedsheets are smelly and looks like rags. I was so stress,and couldn’t sleep overnight because of the molds and filthy place. It was so late at night and we couldn’t find any other place to stay, so we just stayed 1 night. Molds is a health hazard, and I’m allergic to it. They shouldn’t advertise this units anymore. It’s not a livable place unless they cure all those molds. We end up going home the following day, this cause us inconvenience. Who ever is managing that place should be fired! Shes not doing her job to maintain cleanliness especially now that Covid is everywhere. This is the worst experience I ever had .
• Kimberly (6/5): Pleasant - we have paid around about 3500 per room first room :no tissue,floor was very sticky, smells like cigarettes inside the room. you cant control the shower’s hot water . powerpoint inside toilet not working. little cockroaches roaming in the sink. other than that it’s spacious and the bed was comfortable . second room : no internet, no tissue . other than that everything is ok and very nice view
• Martin (2/5): - I paid for 2 rooms but was not allowed to enter the property. Security stopped us and would not permit us entry. Management did nothing to help. They informed me that the cost was non-refundable even though I had to find another hotel.
• John Ryan (4/5): Overall needs inprovement. Communication and clean - If we knew that our room will be 20mins away from parking and pool area, we couldve booked somewhere else. The room is not thoroughly cleaned especially the bathroom, walls and shower curtains has molds. There was a cockroach also.

• Ereyalyn (10/5): Excellent - It was an amazing experience room. Unit given was really huge and has a free netflix. I think its really depends on the unit since every unit has diff. owner. Were given 3 different room, unit 931 was perfect for its ambiance. 735 was perfect for internet connection, netflix and room size and huge tv perfect for family movie night, except for the curtains and old religious stuff since not everyone is catholic but doesnt bother at all just a suggestion , 909 was good for small family with 1 child only. just the basic one. but all unit was clean and caretaker was very accommodating. probably might booked again.

I cannot even give them 1 star.

The room, furniture & bathroom fixtures does not reflect the promotional images advertised. It’s like walking in to a “housing project!” I would definitely recommend the SMDC Wind Residences but not this unit.

• Nelca (2/5): Worst condotel ever! - P3,700 per night is too expensive for this cheap unit. No WiFi. Linens are cheap. Kitchen stuff are cheap. Sofa set is cheap. Parking is not free and very far from the building. U need to pay to use the swimming pool. No compliment water and coffee. No towels. No soap and shampoo. There is 1000 cash deposit. Coordination with staff is fine, though. This studio unit did not meet my travelling standard. We will never comeback and will NOT recommend it to anybody.
