• Daniela (10/5): Super schöne Bungalowsnlage mit persönlichem Service - Villas Pina, ein Paradies besser lässt es sich nicht beschreiben. Alles so liebevoll gemacht, persönliche Begrüssung durch den Besitzer Eric. Der Garten in dem die Bungalows sind beherbergt gerade eine Faultierdame mit Baby. Eric gab uns viele Tipps für Restaurants etc. Morgentlicher Kaffeeservice vor dem Frühstück auf der Terrasse des Bungalows. Super Frühstück das keine Wünsche offen lässt. Wir wären gerne länger geblieben.

Every day we saw wildlife right outside — monkeys swinging through the trees and even sloths nearby, which made the experience feel so special and unique. Breakfast was anot her highlight: a fresh, home-cooked meal every morning with a different menu each day. You could really feel the love and thought put into every dish. This was more than just a stay — it was a complete experience that we will never forget. • ymohamed (10/5): An Amazing Nature Retreat with World-Class Hospitality - We had an amazing stay. Eric and Sharon are very welcoming and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. ​The villa is spacious, spotlessly clean, and surrounded by nature; we saw so many birds during our stay! The garden is also beautiful. ​Breakfast was delicious and filling. They even placed a coffee pot on our deck every morning, and you can always get more at the restaurant. ​Beaches and restaurants are just a short drive away, and Playa Negra is only a few minutes' walk. We also tried 'Soda Mirna' per Eric's recommendation (a couple of minutes' drive), and the food there was amazing. ​Overall, it is a great place to relax and recharge. I will definitely be back! One suggestion for improvement: installing a window screen in the bathroom and reversing the window opening would help keep bugs out while allowing for ventilation.

Auch wir durften das Faultier cookie, sowie die Hunde und Katzen begrüßen. Hervorragendes Frühstück mit wechselnden Säften und Kuchen. (Selbst gemacht). Schöner Pool mit Terrasse. Man merkt einfach, dass hier viel Liebe drin steckt. Nichts.

Das Bonbon ist natürlich die kleine Tierwelt mit Faultier, Wickelbären, Aguti, Pfeilgiftfösche, Affen etc. Hosts sehr nett, haben uns gute Tips gegeben und uns eine wirklich tolle Nachtkayaktour empfohlen.Der Morgenkaffee in der Hängematte ein Träumchen… Nichts

Hier passt einfach alles: ​Die Anlage: Die gesamte Gartenanlage ist wunderschön gestaltet, sehr gepflegt und gleicht einer kleinen, grünen Oase. Man fühlt sich sofort wohl und im Einklang mit der Natur. ​Das Frühstück: Jeden Morgen wurden wir mit einem köstlichen Frühstück verwöhnt. Alles war frisch, liebevoll zubereitet und ein perfekter Start in den Tag. ​Die Lage: Die Lage ist einfach unschlagbar – toll gelegen, um die Umgebung zu erkunden, und dennoch ruhig genug für echte Erholung. ​Das absolute Highlight: Wir hatten das riesige Glück, die Faultierdame Lucy jeden Tag beobachten zu können! Es war ein einmaliges Erlebnis, dieses faszinierende Tier so nah und in aller Ruhe direkt bei der Unterkunft zu sehen. Das hat unseren Urlaub wirklich zu etwas ganz Besonderem gemacht. ​Vielen Dank für die Gastfreundschaft – wir kommen definitiv wieder! Nichts

• Olaf (9/5): - Die Unterkunft war sehr schön. Der Garten hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Das Frühstück war jeden Morgen eine kleine Überraschung. Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Wir waren in Puerto Viejo um Spanisch zu lernen das Personal half uns dabei. Die Inhaber gaben uns gute Tipps. Natürlich wollen wir die beiden Faultiere die auf dem Gelände des öfteren zu sehen waren nicht vergessen. Das einzige was mir einfällt, ist dass wir einen Mückenschutz vor dem Fenstern vermisst haben. Alle anderen Unterkünfte in Costa Rica hatten diesen.

Todos los dias limpian las zonas comunes, lleno de naturaleza y las villas muy bien acondicionadas y limpias Por poner alguna pega me faltaba un enchufe antimosquitos en las villas. Aunque es posible que si se lo hubiera pedido hubieran tenido porque los dueños son super agradables y para lo que necesites

• Katherina (10/5): We loved it! - Wir hatten einen wundervollen Aufenthalt in der Villa Piña! Eric und Sharon sind sehr nette Gastgeber und die gesamte Anlage ist wunderschön. Das Frühstück ist unglaublich lecker und das Wild Leben rund um die Villa ist sehr faszinierend. Es gibt ein Baby Faultier und dessen Mama, die direkt in der Villa (bzw. in den Bäumen der Anlage) leben. Wir konnten sie teilweise von unserem Balkon aus beobachten. Die Villa ist sehr gut gelegen. Wir würden jederzeit wieder in der Villa übernachten und bedanken uns noch mal ganz herzlich ☺️

• Deborah (10/5): Villas Pina is beautifl and comfortable in every way imaginable. - Villas Pina is an oasis! Extremely comfortable, quiet (except for the songs of the birds in the many trees on and surrounding the grounds 😊), and clean. We slept so well all 4 nights we stayed - beds and linens were very comfortable and the AC was quiet and efficient. The villas are spacious and nicely appointed. Eric and Sharon have paid attention and put energy into every detail - from the property’s thoughtful and tasteful design - inside and out, to the high level of service and quality of breakfasts. They designed the entire property, including keeping as many of the trees as possible while the villas were being built and creating a beautiful, colorful garden. One afternoon while relaxing by the pool we spotted a troop of howler monkeys climbing the trees right next to the hotel. Everything about our stay was perfect. We wouldn’t hesitate to return or to recommend Villas Pina to friends and family.

Teren bardzo zadbany. Wille duze, ladnie zaprojektowane, z kuchnia wyposażona w podstawowe rzeczy( brakowało tylko czajnika na wode!)goraca pyszna kawe o 6,30 am podawano na taras w każdej willi.. Wygodne lozka( ja wolałabym bawełniana posciel- nie satynowa-taki drobiazg)na plaze 5 min pieszo( plaza z czarnym piaskiem) obok dobrze zaopatrzone delikatesy.. do pełnego zycia - restauracji barow sklepików Puerto Viejo- 5 min samochodem..Do najładniejszej plazy z białym piaskiem Punta Uva 15 min samochodem..

Das typisch einheimische Frühstück war super lecker und hat jeden Tag etwas variiert mit frischen Früchten und Säften. Die Zimmer haben einen schönen Blick in den Garten, wo man einige Tiere beobachten kann. Zudem sind diese und auch die kleine Küche mit einem großen Kühlschrank und allem was man braucht ausgestattet.

• Jeff (10/5): Excellent Rooms, Gardens, Food and Service - We really liked the breakfast and the on site wildlife. Breakfast consisted of eggs any way you like, a fresh fruit and granola parfait, local freshly made fruit juice that was different each day, a special side each day (pineapple bread, banana pancake, home made empenada), rice/beans and cheese and of course coffee (also delivered each morning to your room). We had the best encounter of our lives with sloths (have lived in Central America for 3+ years now). They make their home on the grounds. Kinkajous roam the trees at night. Don't touch the poison dart frogs hiding next to the villas :)

We had the best time at Villa Piña and it was undoubtedly the best accomodation we had the whole holidays(and we travelled a lot😅) The owners were amazing, always helpful and up for a chat. The breakfast was superb and waking up with all the different animals and so much green around was the cherry on top. Finally, the location was perfect, short walk to the beach and a soda or a short drive to Puerto Viejo town. Nothing, it was honestly just perfect.

• Gina (10/5): Peaceful stay and nature all around - New, clean, and peaceful property surrounded by nature, what you expect Costa Rica to be with a fully stocked kitchen and portable burners, plus a private path to the beach. Hosts were wonderful and they provided extra touches like leaving a fresh pot of coffee every morning on our balcony. Tucked away from the main road, it’s the perfect quiet getaway, and having a car made the location work perfectly for us. Seeing a sloth on the property was the highlight of our trip to Puerto Viejo. Breakfast was good, fresh juices were excellent and fast service would only suggest more options for breakfast.

Im Garten gibt es schon einige Tiere und Pflanzen zu bestaunen,und auf der eigenen großen Terrasse konnten wir unsere Seele baumeln lassen und u.a. Kolibris beobachten. Das Frühstück war großartig-guter Kaffee,Rührei, Reis und Bohnen,Obst mit Joghurt, und jeden Tag selbstgebackenen Kuchen wurden persönlich serviert. • denise (10/5): Erholung pur - Ganz tolle liebevoll geführte Anlage. Hier stimmt alles, von der eigenen "Villa" bis zum leckeren Frühstück. Highlight war natürlich die Faultierdame mit Nachwuchs. Tipp: Abends auf die Dachterrasse Es gab rein gar nichts zu meckern. Wir selber hätten es toll gefunden, wenn man nachts ein Fenster mit Mückenschutz gehabt hätte zum öffnen und Naturgeräusche hören. Das ist aber nur unsere Meinung, typisch deutsch halt 😀 Ist vielleicht hier aber auch Absicht.

The owners have real pride in what they’re doing. They’re also very kind and have a lot of knowledge of things to do in the area and very hands on. The breakfast is homemade, local, and outstanding!! Die Villen sind sauber, gepflegt und haben alles was man braucht. Der Garten ist traumhaft und mit so vielen verschiedenen Pflanzen und Tierarten bestückt. The surroundings are beautiful — lush, peaceful, and full of tropical charm. The breakfast in the garden each morning was a real highlight, delicious and surrounded by nature. Eric is an exceptional host — welcoming, attentive, and always ready to help with anything we needed. The entire staff is wonderful too — friendly, kind, and always smiling. The villa itself was very spacious, comfortable, and perfectly equipped for a relaxing stay. Definitely a place to stay when visiting the Caribbean coast of Costa Rica — we can’t recommend it enough!

Le logement est spacieux avec une cuisine très pratique et surtout très propre. Il est très bien pensé pour se détendre. L environnement incroyable très verdoyant et surtout calme et apaisant. Le petit déjeuner fait maison et local absolument parfait! Bref nous avons passé six jours sur place et c edt probablement l un des meilleurs hôtels que j ai pu tester durant nos voyages. Le prix est a la hauteur de nos attentes. L accès a la plage playa negra était franchement top la plage est belle est au calme. Petit plus la famille de paresseux 🥰 Rien de rien!!!

• Mary (10/5): The most relaxing stay in Puerto Viejo. - The hosts were absolutely amazing, so hospitable. They were always happy to give you tips on where to go and where to eat. They have a beautiful hotel full of wildlife and their lovely pets. The pool was great to relax at, a little frustrating that there was building work going on next door, but nothing Eric and Sharon could do about that. We had coffee each morning delivered to our room and a delicious 3 course breakfast. Easy access to a beach and sloth right outside our room. We couldn't have asked for more! I will definitely stay again if I am back in the area.

• Gerhard (10/5): Ein Traum - Meine Frau und ich genossen den Aufenthalt in der Vila Piña. Shannon und Eric sowie ihr Personal waren wunderbare Gastgeber. Das Frühstück war phantastisch. Eines unserer besten Erfahrungen in den letzten Jahren. Bitte macht weiter so. Und ein Faultier mit Baby im Garten. Dass wir nur 3 Nächte dort waren. Es war alles perfekt.
• Karlien (10/5): Meer dan geweldig verblijf. - De villa en tuin zijn met zo ongelooflijk veel zorg en aandacht door de eigenaren (helemaal zelf) ontworpen en ingericht. Je voelt de liefde ervoor om je heen. Heel comfortabel verblijf, fantastisch gevarieerd ontbijt met zelfgemaakte sapjes van fruit uit de tuin en de eigenaar was zo helpend bij vragen die we stelden en met tips over waar lekker te eten, waar een mooi strand etc. Niet te vergeten wildlife in de tuin: luiaard, toekan, kolibrie. Een aanrader! Niets

We really liked this place, and it felt like home for the time we stayed. A solid 10 out of 10. The villas were really spacious and clean, and we felt the love they put in the detail in decorating the villas and the other places.

• Heinjochen (10/5): Tolles kleines Hotel mit lieben Gastgebern - Es war der perfekte Start in unseren Costa Rica Urlaub. Eric und Shannon führen mit ihren Mitarbeitern und ihren vielen Haustieren dieses kleine Hotel so liebevoll, dass man sich direkt zu Hause fühlt. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker und immer individuell zubereitet. Man konnte jederzeit seine Wünsche äußern. Vilas Piña ist ein Idealer Ausgangsort, um die Karibik Küste zu erkunden. Nichts
• Hans (10/5): Heerlijk ontspannen en luxe - Ontbijt! Vers gemaakt en je kunt van alles aangeven, de keuken weet er raad mee. De weg ernaartoe is net te lang om te lopen naar restaurantjes. De weg is wel verlicht maar vrij verlaten.
