The location is convenient to Darby Street and Newcastle Art Gallery and Welsh Blacks is across the street for a great coffee. We found parking across the street easily. Morag gave us a detailed list of places to visit. We would definitely stay again when we are next in Newcastle if available. N/A

The interior of this property feels like home. It is beautifully decorated. Very comfortable, cosy and spotlessly clean! It has everything you need! The beds are divine and the shower definitely needs a mention, superb! Linen was luxe and the hosts even left delectable pastries for us on arrival. I couldn’t fault it! Oh and the host was incredibly helpful and available to answer any questions. We will definitely be back! Nothing

Parking a bit difficult on a Saturday night but thats to be expected. I used to live 1 block away so bought back great memories of a great part of Newcastle. Unfortunately our stay was a sad one as we lost a family member which was the reason for our visit. Notwithstanding given the sitaution the apartment was a calming place and made things a lot easier during a stressful time. I would love to revisit under different circumstances nothing really

• Lynne (4/5): Disappointing and facilities not as advertised on booking.com - The interior of the property was very pleasant, and well laid out. Spotlessly clean. The living area especially was lovely, and the large arched window with the outlook onto the road was a real highlight, made the whole space. Well located, close to the beach and shops, great coffee shop right across the road, and very lively pub a few doors away. The property was advertised on booking.com as 2bdr/2bath and free parking. Discovered after making a non-refundable payment that the apartment had 1 bathroom and street parking only. When I raised this, the owner's response was to say several times, "I've never had this problem before," and to insist I was mistaken about the facilities advertised. I had to send two screenshots to 'prove' the booking.com advertising was as I had stated. The owner allowed me to bring my dog to compensate. Parking was difficult, not close, and for me, this was a real hassle. The owner called my personal mobile 5 times during a 2 night stay re the parking situation. I didn't answer these calls, because unfortunately while I was there a family member was hospitalised so I was on the phone constantly with doctors and relatives. I found the owner's repeated calls intrusive. There were also several text messages. After my stay, the owner sent a final text offering a free night's accommodation on a subsequent visit. In my view, this did not compensate for inaccurate advertising, nor for what I felt to be defensive responses when the discrepancies were raised. This aspect was quite unpleasant. I would not stay here again.

• Donna-li (10/5): Spacious apartment great for families - The apartment is so spacious, plenty of room for cooking meals and keeping a one year old entertained. Quiet location even though there's two pubs down the road. Easy to find a park at night, bit trickier during the day but plenty of two hour parking around. The host Morag is so responsive and kindly provided us with a portacot and high chair. Baby gate installed at the top of the stairs which was perfect. Wish we had booked for longer, would definitely stay here again next time we're visiting. The bathroom window doesn't have a fly screen so we kept the door shut to avoid mosquitoes entering the apartment. Not an issue if they don't love to eat you!

• Kathryn (10/5): Beautiful, Luxey, cosy air bnb that is so relaxing and also in the best location. Walking distance to beaches, shops, re - it was so relaxing for a girls weekend away. The styling is gorgeous and apartment had everything we needed and more. Amazing location and incredibly comfortable. Was so clean and natural light was beautiful. we literally could walk everywhere. Can’t wait to stay again. Thank you for ghosting us. X No complaints.

• Matthew (9/5): Beautiful apartment in a great location. Perfect for a small family - Beautiful apartment in a great location - close to restaurants and pubs and easy to get to NEX. Morag was kind enough to fit a stair gate as we had a 10 month old and she provided a travel cot. We were able to park right outside the apartment and parking was free and not restricted. The only small thing was that there was very little shower gel, bin liners and liquid hand soap so we ran out within 3 days. Morag asked her cleaner to drop some off but unfortunately they couldn’t drop any off until after we had left.
• Visitors (8/5): - Was told missing coffee machine would be delivered...then told it would not be delivered. Frustrating!
