Inoltre, l’autista della struttura, Mario, ci ha non solo portato dall’aeroporto alla struttura ad un prezzo onesto, ma ci ha anche permesso di vedere alcuni dei luoghi più belli di Napoli, raccontandoci la storia della città e dei suoi quartieri! • Doris (7/5): Soweit in Ordnung, aber Preis-Leistung na ja - Die Lage war sehr gut, wenn man den quirligen Innenstadt-Rummel mag. Total zentral am Dante-Platz, mehrere Busse und U-Bahn-Anschlüsse. Trotzdem war es recht ruhig, da in einem alten Palazzo mit dicken Wänden gelegen. Viele Restaurants, Cafes und Geschäfte gibt es direkt in der Umgebung. Es war alles sauber. Handtücher wären jeden Tag gewechselt worden, wenn ich gewollt hätte. Die Matratzen sind in Ordnung. Das Zimmer war groß, mit kleinem Kühlschrank, viel Platz. Ich war erstaunt, dass sich das Zimmer doch so stark aufheizt im heißen Sommer. Die Klimaanlage funktionierte gut. Es gab zum Frühstück selbstgemachten Kuchen, und jeden Morgen frische Croissants. Eine der Mitarbeiterinnen war sehr nett und kümmerte sich, gab Tips. Man bekommt Schlüssel, um in den Palazzo und ins B&B zu kommen, daher keine Gefahr, eine PIN zu vergessen, oder dass ein Code nicht funktioniert. Das B&B befindet sich im 1. Stock mit vielen Treppen, da sind noch jede Menge andere Eingänge, also nichts Exklusives, falls man das meint. Es hat viel Flair, in einem alten Palazzo zu wohnen. Der ist allerdings in keinem guten Zustand, nicht gepflegt, alles sehr abgewohnt und zum Teil schmutzig. Das hat mich nicht gestört, so wohnen ja auch die Einheimischen, und es ist definitiv authentisch. Alles in allem bekommt man für diesen Preis besseres in Neapel. Es wurde ein Balkon versprochen, es gab aber nur ein bodentiefes Fenster. Dies habe ich direkt vor Ort reklamiert, ohne Erfolg und ohne Entgegenkommen, obwohl es ein anderes Zimmer mit Balkon gab, das während der gesamten Zeit frei war. Mir wurde erklärt, ein Wechsel sei zu kompliziert, da ich über Booking.com gebucht habe. Booking.com gab nach dem Urlaub aber eine Reduktion. Meinen Koffer schleppte ich am Ankunftstag alleine hoch, die Mitarbeiterin sagte mir, ich dürfe den Aufzug nicht benutzen, und schaute mir emotionslos beim Hochtragen zu. Ich bin Ü60, etwas Hilfe wäre nett gewesen. Die Möbel sehen auf dem Foto hochwertig aus, es ist aber leider kein echtes Holz, sondern Pressspan oder so und eher billig gemacht. Im Bad ist die Decke tiefer gehängt, darauf irgendwelches Gerümpel. Ich habe mich nicht so wirklich wohl gefühlt im Zimmer. Aber da ist man ja eher selten. Das Frühstück ist sehr süßlastig, viel Abgepacktes. Auf meine Frage nach Müsli oder Haferflocken wurde ich auf Cornflakes verwiesen. Ich kaufte mir dann auf Rat der Mitarbeiterin selbst Müsli und Haferflocken im Supermarkt und aß das zum Frühstück, die Milch dazu und eine Schale bekam ich vor Ort. Die Bezahlung wurde sofort bei Ankunft verlangt, noch bevor ich mein Gepäck ins Zimmer bringen konnte. Nicht sehr gastfreundlich finde ich, vielleicht haben sie schlechte Erfahrungen gemacht.
• Juan (7/5): Bien, pero debe mejorar mucho - La ubicación sobre Vía Toledo es muy buena, aunque estacionar allí es imposible. La recepclonista Gabriela fue muy amable y eficiente. El desayuno, suficiente. El acceso a lo que fue un antiguo Palazzo está muy descuidado y sucio, debe mejorarse notablemente. No tener ascensor para llegar a la habitación es complicado cuando se cargan maletas. Necesitas 5 llaves para entrar a la habitación. El baño es pequeño.

• Shriram (8/5): - Location is fantastic. In the historic center, close to all the great restaurants and attractions. This place is in a very old building, as are other B&Bs in this area. Poor WiFi with no cell signal inside the building.
• Kai (3/5): The staff were friendly but ant infestation was not acceptable, please see the photo. - The breakfast was simple but good. Ms. Sam was friendly and welcoming. The B and B WhatsApp me not allow placed my cabin luggage on the free single bed, I'm shock, I'm living Asia and Europe in my life and travel over 20 countries even I always do it on my own bed even my parents never told me that was wrong and my luggage didn't made any dirt on the bed. When we back from Carpi island on 20 June 2025, my room there were a large number of ants in my room and there have a serious ant issue. The bathroom water supply and the flush need a long time to stop the noise. We booked two rooms, my room doorstep next to reception and my family members room in the breakfast area, very noisy in the breakfast time or guest check in or check out.
• Shaked (8/5): Very good - The location was amazing, right in the middle between Centro Storico and Quartieri Spagnoli. The room was very clean and was cleaned daily, and the staff was super nice and helpful! The breakfast was nice but a little basic. Getting there was a little too confusing because there is no signage at all, and we didn't get any instructions beforehand. You need to get into the building and climb the stairs to the 2nd floor where the entrance is.
• Timothy (8/5): - We were greeted warmly by Gabriella who showed us locations to see and do in Naples. The location is not marked well but the taxi drivers know how to reach there. If you are travelling at night, it can be a bit tricky. We needed a driver for 4am and Gabriella was kind enough to arrange the whole thing. We communicated well on WhatsApp. The place is clean and is a great boutique hotel with the old architectural charm. The staff does not stay there all night but they provide you with keys to use when coming and going.

• Christopher (10/5): Pleasant, charming bed and breakfast with wonderful host - The B&B was in a great location, the breakfast was one of the best I’ve had in Italy, and the innkeeper, Sam, was beyond nice and accommodating. The room was quiet and comfortable and made our stay in Naples one to remember. I have nothing bad to stay about this property; it exceeded our expectations.
• Axel (10/5): Absolutely amazing stay within the centre of Napoli in a gorgeous and authentic Italian room! - I loved the personal touch by the nice staff which this place provides as well as the drop dead gorgeous room with beautiful painting above the bed. Location was also quite good since it was in the back of a huge mansion in a side street. Breakfast is really nice and again, you are well taken care off. Staff is super friendly and they speak perfect English and can give you all the good locations to visit in Napoli. Hygiene is excellent and basically everything else is just great., I felt really sad to leave after 6 nights since it really felt comfortable and homely to stay. I would have stayed longer if I could. There;s a few small things but it doesn't really affect my score. The only thing that bothered me a little was the fact that the temperature of the shower was really really hot. and it;s difficult to set it. From the moment it finally reaches the right temperature it goes down to cold within 10 seconds or so and then back to hot. They should fix it,... One other very small thing; Italy is nothing but sweets everywhere (and they are great!) but as a breakfast it would be better, in my opinion, to also have some hearty, savoury options such as ham, cheese, boiled eggs and toast because the whole breakfast is basically just sugar. Having said that the cake, croissants and other things are delicious. But it would be better to combine it with savoury components. Desk could be bigger. Difficult to work if you have a laptop (at least in my room)

The location is excellent—almost everything is within walking distance. There are great breakfast spots, cafés, excellent restaurants, and a local market in the surrounding streets. We can highly recommend this place and would love to return in the future!

Sam the receptionist who checked us in couldn’t be more helpful with organising breakfast early before we left , local restaurants to eat , places to visit and organising a taxi to the airport. Recommend this place highly, great value for the centre of Naples . Nothing.

• Malene (9/5): Bella Napoli - The location was fantastic for everything, Spanish Quarters and historic center on either side. The BnB has several rooms and a small breakfast room, it is serviced at certain hours during the day. The building has been an old palazzo,so it has that antique feel all around, also entering the building through the "door" in the ancient door, walking through the old stone courtyard to the building stairs. I felt very safe in the neighborhood, also in the building, although it has several keys and an old door, all atmospheric, don't panic with keys, they will work! My room was lovely with chandeliers, I liked the decor, it fit well with Napoli. Shower was great, clean, staff were really really lovely. I did fiddle with the keys but without panic they worked! Breakfast is Italian, so to be expected, sweet croissants, yoghurt, fruit, cereal. Coffee excellent of course. Ear plugs for morning and traffic at night, it is Naples and boisterous! The old stone stairs to the BnB are very wide. 40 steps, with pauses it was completely manageable.
• Chloe (8/5): Very central, very basic, very kind staff. - The staff were absolutely wonderful -- so generous and kind. They stayed during their lunch break to check me in and were always very solicitous. The room was also pretty big by European sizes. The location is very central. My room was RIGHT off reception, which startled me a bit. It wasn't completely clean my first day. Breakfast is not great -- there are some croissants, cookies, and yogurt. I was surprised by all the amazing reviews, because while this was fine, it wasn't that great. I would've liked some hard boiled eggs or other healthier options.

The location was perfect for exploring the historic centre of Naples and was close to Dante tube - making it easy to get to and from the airport. The members of the team I encountered were incredibly friendly/helpful and I can't stop thinking about the delicious croissants they served at breakfast. I would highly recommend this B&B. Only thing to note is that after 5pm (I think), there tends to be no one working on reception but the staff helpfully offered me their number should I encounter any issues, which I didn't.

• Olivier (9/5): Nice place to stay to discover Napoli. - Accommodation was really good, nice welcome from the staff (special thanks to Sam for all advises and good french language). Very good breakfast. Situation is exceptionnal (historical center and Spagnola area). Metro Line 1 really close by. Only 1 negative point to notice : access is a bit tricky. Second floor without elevator, not easy when having luggages, but not impossible. I would advise to indicate better B&B entry at the main door on the street.

• Trina (4/5): Not very well appointed - The jacuzzi didn't work the first day (out of the two days we stayed) but the second day was really nice in the warm water. The bathroom was also a really nice size. The room is small but the beds are comfortable. There's a daily cleaning service; There are some really nice croissants for breakfast! The lady at breakfast was delightful and really helpful with recommendations! 1. The property is 100% not on the first floor like they had mentioned to us. It's on the second floor of a very very very old building with high ceilings, so more number of stairs to climb than a regular second floor as well. 2. There is a late fee that they charged us, but there was no compensation given to us for the jacuzzi not working for which we paid for a premium room. 3. The building is not at all attractive, the dustbin is right at the entrance, the elevator can easily be fixed and used for guests but isn't.

• Leanne (9/5): Perfect location with excellent hosts - La Bella Napoli B&B was perfect for our short stay in Naples. What set it apart was the excellent service we had while there. Ahead of time, La Bella Napoli accepted our late arrival for a small fee and reached out by WhatsApp on the day. Afterwards when we left our Amazon firestick behind, they went to the trouble of posting it back to us. While we were there, breakfasts were served with a smile. The location was very central and convenient to explore Naples or be picked up by the tour we did of Pompeii. The place felt like an authentic residence of Naples - a little place of calm in the bustle. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a short stay. We booked a bedroom with a jacuzzi and unfortunately it wasn’t working but we were still able to use it as a bath. La Bella Napoli was up a few flights of stairs - there may have been a lift but I wouldn’t have chanced it - so if accessibility is a concern I would double check. The breakfast, while tasty, was slightly basic due to the limited facilities there.
• Justine (7/5): Good - The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the place was central to many museums, albeit on a very chaotic and busy street. They also offer a light breakfast with good coffee. The beds were unfortunately very uncomfortable and had squeaky mattress protectors on them, making a ton of noise every time you moved in bed. I would love if the breakfast included more savory, protein and whole fat options for breakfast.
• Ivo (9/5): Superb - We are not staying in B&B very often so I was very pleased that everything was perfectly organized by Sam. Excellent place of B&B in the center of Via Toledo, close to metro. House from the street does not look nice but inside is different world. Very nice breakfast served, comfortable room, every day cleaned and if we needed anything we always got help or advice. So we enjoyed very much our stay in Napoli. Thank you Sam.

• Kirchev (9/5): Can be very handy for families with one kid visiting Naples for few days of sightseeing - There was a doule bed and confortable single bed which can be very useful for families with one kid. The position is in the historic center of Naples. The metro station is very close too. The absence of shower curtain was a bit of stressful together with the control of the shower water temperature (in contrast if you preffere jakuzi it was large and seemed confortalbe).
• Roger (10/5): Large, comfortable room and friendly hotel manager - Charming, comfortable and spacious room (with jetted tub!) in the historic section of Naples. The manager, Lorenza, spoke perfect English and was so friendly and helpful (recommending restaurants, providing a map and guidance on interesting sights, printing out our boarding passes, arranging an early morning taxi to the airport, and even making a breakfast tray for us in advance due to our very early checkout). The section of the larger building housing the hotel rooms is very secure, with several locked doors to access the area. There is no elevator, so walking up a few flights with heavy luggage wasn't fun, but the rest of our stay was delightful.

She was on top of everything from start to finish and made our stay so comfortable, considering all the stress of traveling 15 hours prior to!! She’s just amazing.

The room was spacious, bed comfortable, bathroom great, all was fantastic and the staff was super friendly. Fantastic location! Our door opened directly into the breakfast room which was a bit annoying but all was ok in the end.

Only downside was it’s up three flights of stairs so people with large luggage it’s more difficult to manage. However, accommodations were great and location made it totally worth it. Me and my friend were leaving early and the receptionist made sure we got breakfast the night before to prep for our flight. Super sweet!

• Chrysa (10/5): A beautiful B&B in the heart of the city. - The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The beds and the pillows were awesome! What was great was the location, in via Toledo where there are shops and, of course, many bars around. The neighborhood is safe and so vivid. You get the nice vibe of this beautiful city. What I liked the most overall was the two kind girls at the reception, Lorenza and Sam. It was so nice waking up and seeing their smiles always very helpful, making our breakfast and our coffee every morning, helping us with the sightseeing, with booking a taxi for the airport for us. I appreciated their professionalism and their kindness. Congratulations, girls! I will definitely go back to Napoli, and i would choose this hotel again! The only thing I could mention as negative was the fact that the breakfast hadn't any salty choices. I mean, like cheese or eggs or something like this. But it's OK!! Still was a nice breakfast served by nice people with kindness.

The room and bathroom were immaculately clean. This morning (on my last day at the B&B) an American woman arrived early (at about 9am) when we guests were enjoying our breakfast. She expected to go straight to her room, even though check-in is clearly stated to be late during the day. She was unpleasant and rude. In fact, quite disrespectfully to the host and to us all, she made a point of sleeping very unelegantly on the nice little sofa at the entrance of the B&B. I felt sorry for our lovely host. Such arrogant guests with no manners should not be welcome.

We skipped the Breakfast for boat trip & enjoyed ourselves at lovely savory Breakfast at Cafe before go boat trip. As early rising, I recommend to book the Hotel without Breakfast, there is plenty of lovely savory Breakfast round the Cafes with good prices. P.S. REPONSE: I would like to point out about the savory breakfast at Cafe. We left B&B by around 7.35am, to have savory breakfast near boats area around 8.10am before we bought the ticket for boat trip & on boat by 9am. (25 mins walk to boats area from B&B) You can say what you want. It is really shame that you refuse to solve out the issues with us but 4 long awful WhatsApp messages to me. Yes I'm appalled & replied to end the conversation. If you want to text me then do in respectful way. It is the reason, we stay outside all the day after breakfast and back to B&B for our bed. The screenshots of our conversation doesn't lie. We attack your assistance? How? We didn't offend the owner when he asked us including 2 friends to leave. We respect him . We saw nobody but the lady (twice) on our first arrival & lovely breakfast lady 3 times during 4 days staying, that's it. I didn't defame you but express my honest opinion about the savory breakfast at Cafe. If you said that it is 1st floor but for me it is 3rd floor (It's my feeling) due to long steps. I am sorry if I am wrong. About unsafe stairs remain unchanged. First of all, we (4) are profoundly deaf & use WhatsApp to communicate. Some photos look good but in the rooms is different. La Bella Napoli is on 3rd floor, no lift - Unsafe stairs to 3rd floor & shower with a large step for disabilities accessibility, no living room for relax evening. I accidentally found out two days before our flight to Naples that the savory/sweet breakfast photos dated 26.01.2023 had been deleted & changed to a full sweet breakfast. I informed Booking.com with screenshots of 26.01.2023. They offered a little savory breakfast but it's not the same.The happened a few hours later after our arrival: I texted that we would like breakfast at 7am due to the boat trip. The owner & lady came. He discriminated against my 75 years old friend. She was upset. The owner refused to solve the issue with us because our boat trip is not his problem.We paid & deserve their respect, but none!!! An hour later our two friends came to visit us. The owner came again. We were not aware that visitors are not allowed in the public room (breakfast room). We went outside because the owner asked us to. I saw his text for first time, asked, "Who are the strangers?" I replied, "The strangers you called are our friends from England who are staying at another hotel. We don't like the video camera watching us in the breakfast room." Uncomfortable for us. (The breakfast room is middle between the two bedroom doors.) Using a video camera when nobody inside is understandable. They threaten to call the police to kick us out. I politely told him he can do what he want. His text with 4 long insults & threats, then said the customers love & admire them. La Bella informed Booking.com that we are not respecting the house rules by disturbing other guests & being aggressive with a receptionist. Outrageous! No true. We didn't see any other guests until the end of 4th day stay on 05.05.
• Ian (9/5): Only had a day and a half in Naples and wish it could have been longer. Would stay here again. - Excellent location close to Dante Metro station, Spanish Quarter and Spaccanapoli. Host Lorenza was friendly and most helpful. Breakfast was good. Very spacious room with superbly comfortable bed and pillows. Great opportunity to find out how nice the apartments are inside, beyond the somewhat forbidding, old stone courtyard entrance! Typically Italian but a culture shock for we English! Nothing, totally satisfied.

Fantastic handling of matters related to allergies: they have actually arranged for a special safe menu for one of us because they wanted to be absolutely sure the breakfast is safe. Everything was perfect really.

The location is really amazing, right in the middle of everything! the room was huge, beautiful and very clean, and also had a giant bad and jacuzzi which was very fun. The plase is small and intimate, we enjoyed going to breakfast in our pajamas 🙂 The breakfast itself is humble, but it was perfect for us- aspecialy the fresh grate Italian coffee. Lorenza and Sam were grate hosts, both were very sweet, took care of everything and gave us grate recommendations about the city and excellent restaurants. They were the best thing of it all! We liked everything. It's important to note that the place is located at the second floor of an antiqe building with a very old and heavy wooden door (with a smaller door carved into it, like you'll see a lot in this city) and some steep staircase. There is a lift but you still have to go up some stairs.
