- Vera (8/5): - Schöner Innenhof und Dachterrasse, dadurch leider etwas laut in den Zimmern, die nahezu alle zum Innenhof rausgehen (oder zur Strasse unterhalb, die recht stark befahren ist). Schwimmbad gibt es nur in einem externen Spa in Laufweite, wofür man Eintritt bezahlen muss.

I told them about it the afternoon I arrived and they were unable to fix it. Cold shower on arrival after 10 days camping .Cold shower the next morning. They should have given me another room . No apology. No solution. No discount. Had I known this was possible I would've stayed somewhere else.

- Andrea (10/5): Wunderbarer Start unserer Namibia-Rundreise - Sehr saubere und schön eingerichtete Zimmer. Insgesamt schöne Hotelanlage, sehr freundliches Personal, tolles Frühstück mit vielen vegetarischen Optionen, sehr gutes Essen im CapeTownFishMarket. Super Start nach Ankunft in Windhoek. Besser vorher Restaurantreservierung machen. Als wir ankamen, hieß es die Restaurants (es gibt drei) seien ausgebucht, wir bekamen aber dank Rezeption dann doch noch einen Platz. Schöner wäre es, wenn nachts der Courtyard-Springbrunnen ausgestellt würde, aber das ist eher unsere persönliche Empfindlichkeit 😉

Das sehr feine Frühstück und die „ältere“ Dame in ihrer Uniform! Absolut passend für diesen Bereich und sehr leckere eggs Benedict. Im Zimmer 24 hat es ungenügend Licht im Badezimmer beim Lavabo.

The room... well, there was a hole in the sheet and one In the towel. When putting the towels in the towel rack in the bathroom, the rack fell on the floor. The water pressure was not good. The patio outside the room was dirty, and the chairs rickety and uncomfortable. Also, a hotel of this range and price should have free access to a pool. It is only possible to use the adjacent Life Spa pool if booking a treatment.

- Miriam (8/5): Alles gut mit Abstrichen - Das Hotel ist sauber, Parken überdacht und bewacht möglich. Die Betten sind super. Frühstück ist etwas kompliziert, aber gut. Personal war überwiegend sehr nett, am Empfang saß eine „Diva“, der es zu viel war - und es auch so mitgeteilt hat - Wechselgeld für ein kleines Geschenk aus der Boutique zu besorgen. Da kommt man sich als weiße Frau schon diskriminiert vor.

Das Hotel ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, das Personal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend und das Zimmer sauber und geräumig. Auch das Frühstück ist lecker. Die Lage ist etwas ausserhalb, in die Innenstadt muss man zwingend das Auto nehmen oder sich einen Guide/Transport organisieren.

- Viktoriya (8/5): Nice stopover place - We liked location, the level of service at restaurants, food at restaurants was also really good. The hotel is very clean Checkout at 10? That seems a bit early. In most places, 11:00 is the international standard. Also, according to the hotel policy, late checkout until 14:00 is charged at half-day rate. It doesn’t feel very fair to charge half the room price for just four extra hours.

- Achim (4/5): Overrated… - Der erste Eindruck Bett war nicht sauber, Zimmer war laut, die Tuer zur Terasse schloss zudem nicht richtig. Auch sollte das Hotel darüber nachdenken, die WC Buerste zu wechseln…. Das Zimmer lässt sich zudem nicht abdunkeln, das Licht scheint permanent ins Zimmer, die Vorhänge sind nicht lichtdicht. Enttaeuschend zudem dass der Poolzugang fuer Gaeste nicht kostenlos ist, auch kann man das nicht ueber das Zimmer abrechnen, bei den Restaurants kein Problem. Hier scheint es in der Zusammenarbeit Hotel und Spa Probleme zu geben. Auch scheint es beim Personal untereinander Konflikte zu geben. Die waren sich nicht alle gruen.

- Dagmar (9/5): Tolles Hotel für die erste und letzte Nacht in Windhoek - Die Rooftop-Bar ist sehr empfehlenswert für einen Aperitif. Zwei Restaurants sind im gleichen Komplex gelegen, so dass man für das Dinner nicht mehr fahren muss. Wir haben einen Shuttle zum Airport gebucht und unser Fahrer Innozenz hat uns im hoteleigenen Luxus-Van gefahren. Frühstücksservice ist sehr unkoordiniert, speziell der Service an der Frischtheke, bei der man Käse, Schinken und Früchte vom Personal ausgegeben bekommt, geht gar nicht! Das Personal ist teilweise garnicht ansprechbar, spricht ganz schlecht englisch und versteht einfach nicht was man möchte.

- Dynamitetravel (10/5): Beautiful Hotel In Windhoek - The Weinberg is an super cute hotel with impressive decor. They have rooms along with suites and villas. Each room type is very spacious. There are several options for dining onsite. There is no pool but if you purchase a spa treatment you can have access to their pool. It is minutes from the city center and fairly convenient. This is a great option to start or finish your time in Namibia if you arrive or depart via Windhoek.
