- Neil (10/5): Just fantastic - Rooms are great good size, clean, everything works. Pools and pool areas are always clean and tidy, gardens are well looked after, location is great very close to the strip but still quiet. Staff are friendly just a great place to stay.

Außerdem gibt es zwei Pools mit Poolbar und in der Nähe gibt es viele Restaurants. Das Personal war großteils sehr freundlich. Küche vorhanden, jedoch eher für kleine Snacks geeignet. Für den Preis wirklich spitze!

- MosheHar (9/5): - את המלון הזה סגרתי לבן שלי שנדרש לעוד לילה במאליה. הכל תקתק והוא היה מאוד מרוצה.
- Arjen (6/5): Mooi complex maar slapeloze nachten - Het complex wordt goed onderhouden. De tuinen en zwembaden zien er verzorgd uit. De locatie is goed. Goede bedden en airco. Parkeerruimte is beschikbaar naast het complex. Schoonmaak is in orde. Uitermate gehorige kamers. Er verblijven veel jongeren en het luide indrinken begint al vroeg in de avond op de balkons en in de appartementen. Dit ondanks de security. Uiteindelijk hebben wij geen enkele nacht fatsoenlijk kunnen slapen. Elke nacht was het tussen 03.00-06.30 'feest'. Buiten niet hoorbaar, binnen wel. Via de afzuigkap, de luchtkanalen en de muren komt de muziek je kamer binnen en al het andere wat je maar kunt verzinnen. Zelfs een snurkende buurman is hoorbaar. Verder is de ontvangst en het vertrek zakelijk en onpersoonlijk. Je ervaart niet de 'Griekse gastvrijheid' zoals we dat bij al onze voorgaande accommodaties op het eiland wel ervoeren. Jammer. Er wordt ook niet gevraagd naar hoe het verblijf is/was etc. Kamers zijn basic en afwasmiddelen zijn niet aanwezig. De vaat was niet schoon. De zwembaden zijn in de avond slechts tot 19.00 resp. 19.30 toegankelijk. Dat is een tegenvaller als je net arriveert, de zon nog volop schijnt en het warm is.

Only thing i would say is be carful walking down to the strip from the hotel as lots of quads and bikes drive up and down the road and there isn’t a pathway so just be mindful. would definitely recommend this hotel

- Hannah (10/5): - I had a lovely solo stay at Maria Rousse! It was clean and quiet at the hotel with only a few minutes walk to the Malia strip which leads to Malia beach! All the hotel staff were very pleasant and friendly! It was never any issue getting a sun lounger by the pool! The food at the bar was very tasty especially the Cretan breakfast which I ate most mornings! I also highly recommended the bars cocktails!

The staff are nice and friendly enough. Close tonlical shops and the mini kitchenette was a most welcomed feature. All in all we had an excellent stay at the hotel and given the opportunity, I would definitely stay here again.

The location was amazing! Close to the old town and center. There was arealöy good bakery nearby, right next to the church and a huge supermarket a few minutes' walk. Also, Maria at the reception was very friendly and would answer all our questions with enthusiasm and honesty. She is the best host so far! The other Maria at the bar was great, Giorgio also was very helpful. There wasn't daily cleaning service of the room, other than that everything was great.

J'ai été très déçu d'avoir à régler la clim à 8 Euros par jour Expédia ne m'avait pas prévenu que c'était payant(hyper déçu d'autant plus que c'est nécessaire dans ces pays) c'est la première fois qu'on me demande de régler la clim en plus (quand je vais à la neige on me demande pas de payer le chauffage). Beaucoup de jeunes logent dans cette résidence ce qui fait que c'est plutôt bruyant. Moi qui part en vacances pour me reposer et déstressé je me suis retrouvé à avoir des problèmes avec les voisins des jeunes qui étaient sur place pour faire la fête et boire avec musique à fond, ils se fiches du voisinage. Ils parlent entre balcon avec 40 m de distance jusqu'à 23h. Le propriétaire est intervenu mais ca a eu peu d'impact.

- Craig (10/5): Exceptional - I have been to malia many times and always loved it. But some places was just basic. Maria Rousse had everything I needed and close to the bars and restaurants. 3 minutes walk. But not too close for the night life to keep you awake should you prefer to relax. I'm definitely going back. One one small thing I didn't like. The walls can be a little thin or hollow. Meaning almost every movement could be heard from other rooms.

- Taylor (10/5): - Really excellent value. Much better in person. Staff couldn't do more, genuinely friendly and went above and beyond. Clean room and area around pool. Perfect location to be walking distance to everything. Would visit again without hesitation. Only thing to be aware of is an extra charge for Aircon in your room which I noted is quite expensive in my opinion.
