Town centre within easy walking distance. Free car parking available when no space at front of hotel We turned the hot water on before showering as instructed but would have liked the water a tad hotter. The bathroom felt a little chilly when getting out of the shower but it wasn’t a big problem.

P (9/5): Well organised and helpful - Really cosy bed. Nice corner room with opening windows, lots of facilities, even a fridge. All very clean and freshly decorated. Host very helpful with parking when I arrived, and with my bags. Even more helpful when I left, as I left my bags by the house while I crossed the road to collect the car. Only turned my back for a min, and the bags had disappeared! Asked the host if they had seen anything as they were leaving, and they kindly took the time to check the security cameras. Turned out a guest had seen the bags sitting there and taken them inside! Such a relief, and I learnt a valuble lesson. The ensuite was really small, so that the sink was actually in the bedroom. Only one bedside light

We had the family room number 20 it was fantastic. Staff were very friendly and polite. We stayed for the weekend for my mum’s birthday. Nothing the property is exceptional

Everything just worked really well, the building was old but had been maintained well and the room was small but lovely. Old furniture and stuff but it just worked for me. The bed was not too soft or too hard, just right and to my liking. The people there were friendly, helpful, and super-nice ❤️ The shower took forever to warm but it didn’t break my enjoyment of staying there, You can minimum book 2 nights stay and I only stayed 1 night but again it doesn’t change my mind about the place, I would stay one night again even paying for two.

Breakfast in the morning was overly sufficient and was ta good start for the day. All in all would recommend this hotel to anyone.

No toiletries are given, shower door opens wrong side (room 11) leaving minimal space to manoeuvre. Fresh juice (not squash) would have been better for breakfast.
Tom (9/5): Good place if you don't mind strong washing detergent smell - Lovely staff and good breakfast I found the smell of washing powder and maybe other cleaners a bit overpowering and found it stuck to my clothing and bag afterwards. A common problem, but particularly strong here. I tend to use eco products at home. Not recommended for anyone with sensitivities.

Roger (10/5): Great Quality, Service, and Value - A very well run, friendly, spacious, and characterful B&B. I booked a single room, but was given a good size double - they said "all our singles are doubles". Note that breakfast (good cooked, with cereal etc) and parking is included, making it great value. The decor is dated, but very well maintained. My room has a mini fridge, which was an unexpected plus. This is now my first choice for this area.

Stephen (5/5): Good for a budget hotel - The hotel was quiet, spacious and smelt fresh. The staff were lovely and welcoming and even let us in 20 minutes early on arrival. Very close to sea front. The bedroom was ok, good size but the bed wasn’t overly comfortable. I also found a liquid solution medication dosage pot on windowsill and empty straw packaging on window ledge. One of the cups was stuck to mat by kettle which you could not get off without ripping the mat. Overall cleanliness wasn’t great I have to say. WiFi was patchy and didn’t reach all areas of the hotel.

Doombunny (10/5): Wonderful room, wonderful guest house and wonderful hosts. Would definitely book again. - When I arrived I was greeted by Bev who extended a warm welcome and showed me to the room. The room, by the way, was stunning. I had opted for the King Deluxe room and I certainly wasn't disappointed. It was huge and very comfortable. The location was perfect for me. Very close the sea front, a short walk to Britannia pier. The guest house offered free parking Sometimes a little difficult to get parked as I was concerned about blocking someone in as it was sometimes parked 3 cars front to back. I will most definitely like to book again. The stay was most enjoyable. The full breakfast wasn't much to my taste and only consisted of 1 of each item, but after speaking to Bev, she was happy to change it to something more to my requirements. Apart from that, I can honestly say that it didn't take anything away from the enjoyment of my stay.

Thorpe (9/5): Superb - The room was really good with plenty of storage space without making you feel cramped. The room seemed like was recently decorated clean and smelling fresh. Breakfast had plenty of choice and always served well. Nothing seemed too much trouble. We also liked the all the flowers in the basket outside making the place look so colourful and stand out from the rest on the street.
