• Michał (8/5): Well maintained, comfortable hotel in central location - The room was clean, modern and spacey enough for us to fit comfortably with a baby and entourage (crib, stroller etc). The hotel feels very comfortable and is centrally located. The food in the restaurant was very good. A very minor thing: we requested the crib in advance but still it wasn’t there when we arrived. I had to ask the Reception twice for it to be installed before it finally happened. Overall, we waited like an hour which was an issue since we arrived late and our baby had to be put to sleep right away.

• Brendan (9/5): Comfortable hotel in the center of Cork. - Excellent location near all major attractions. Clean comfortable room and tasty breakfast with plenty of options. Staff was friendly and courteous. A very nice stay.

Our room overlooked a little alleyway and it was quite noisy at night, it felt like the window wasn't sealed properly, the room was also quite cold. We did use the heat but it didn't stay on.

La habitación era grande. El baño era grande . La cama no me resultó tan cómoda, la parte de los pies muy levantada . Un precio muy caro para no incluir el desayuno. El desayuno el sábado era 19 euros y otro día 14.

Our window was masked so had no natural light and limited fresh air as the window only opened slightly. I would stay at the Maldron again but would want a room with a view and natural light The fact the window had no view or natural light

• Chloe (5/5): Average, definitely not worth £200+ for one nights stay. - The location was good, a short walk from the pubs/shops. Complementary water in the room was nice to see. Beds were clean/comfortable. The check in wasn’t smooth, the key cards were temperamental, the room wasn’t as clean as it could of been for over £200 for the night, security didn’t have us on the list so had to speak to reception to be let in to get to our room.

• Eleanor (4/5): Not worth the money - The staff were wonderful. Room was spacious. I was in the lower ground, there was no light coming into the room, it was dark and cold. That room should be cheaper. The shower wasn't that hot even at max. I found a big chunk of a white plastic lid in my breakfast 'oats and yogurt'

• Alan (8/5): Good location, bedrooms clean and well maintained but bar and restaurant staff disorganised - Location, room and breakfast food we did like Staff in the restaurant and bar not very efficient and let the hotel down, breakfast was not very organised when you needed a breakfast to head out on early trips. Coffee machines not well maintained and did not operate fully at 7am start of breakfast. Asked one night for Irish coffee's male barman took the order then disappeared and did not come back when the female member brought the drinks over they were cold and we sent them back. Need much better training they seemed totally lost which is not good. You are only as good as your weakest link are they all let you down. Also you could not turn heating up in the bedroom it was cold at times

• Gael (10/5): - Hôtel très bien situé pour visiter la ville avec ses rues piétonnes juste derrière. Personnel très sympa. Excellent petit déjeuner Grande chambre très calme. Parking un peu lointain mais il est facile de stationner dans la rue pour déposer ses valises avant d aller se garer et revenir à pieds en 5mn
• Carol Tree (9/5): Great customer service - As a very light sleeper, I had difficulty with my initial room due to noise from all the aircon/machinery outside. However, as soon as I mentioned it to the staff, they found me an alternative room which was perfect. Comfy bed. Great shower. Black out curtains. Great customer service, thank you! Only downside is view from the room, but I wasn't there for the view. And noise outside certain rooms as mentioned above
