• Thomas (10/5): Fantastic modern hotel in great location - I had a great stay in this hotel last week. It's in a great location beside lots of bars/restaurants and near the train/metro station. Victoria on reception was pleasant and helpful and my deluxe double room on the 4th floor was clean, spacious and well equipped with a very comfortable bed. There is a nice bar downstairs with a good selection of drinks and the pizza I had tasted great. Breakfast the next morning was exceptional, a wide variety of food well cooked. I also found this hotel great value for money. I’d highly recommend it and will be returning here on my next visit to Newcastle.

• Lollygagger (9/5): First stay at the Maldron, won't be the last. - From the moment we arrived the staff were friendly, welcoming and efficient. The room was functional for a short stay, the beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was relaxed and a good choice of options. It was very useful to be able to leave our luggage after we checked out until our train left. There wasn't a fridge in the room which I missed as I like fresh milk in my tea. Also, only a shower and I prefer a bath, that's a personal preference though, the shower was fine.

• Journey34082809244 (10/5): Fantastic Afternoon Tea - I bought an Afternoon Tea gift for my Mam for Mother’s Day and was so impressed that I bought another for a special occasion a few weeks later. Great selection of freshly made sandwiches, scones and sweet treats - which were all delicious! Unlimited tea/coffee along with a welcome glass of mimosa to get it all started. Fantastic location in the heart of the city and great customer service especially from Lesa - she was friendly and nothing was a bother which made the experience even more enjoyable. Would highly recommend and will certainly be back in the near future! Thank you!
• D3574PNleannej (10/5): excellent stay would go back for sure - location was great jimmy at check in was amazing was friendly and gave us free drinks towards my partners birthday and early check in also we were allowed to leave our luggage to go and look around. the room was upgraded and the room was very clean and tidy and the bed was very comfortable breakfrast could of been warmer as we were very close to the table but good choice of variety which i cannot fault.
• Leanne (10/5): great stay at the hotel - when we got to the hotel they gave us free drinks for my partners birthday and upgraded our room with birthday card and chocolates the room was very nice and the bed was really comfortable also gave us early check in and were able to leave our luggage before checking in. breakfrast could of been hotter as when we got back to table which wasnt far from the buffet it was quite cold but the variety of choices was very good

• allysonh433 (10/5): Two Night Break With Friends - Travelled with friends for a two night break to Maldron Newcastle - first visit to this Maldron hotel. The location and convenience to both train station, shops, restaurants and bars couldn’t be better and would definitely recommend this hotel for its great location. We stayed in a double and single bedded room on a high floor with no view. The room was comfortable and clean. The curtain rail however was broken and needing repaired. There was also a small courtyard with patio heaters that you could sit outside. Our stay included breakfast which was lovely and staff were on hand to help with any requests. We ate in the Hotel restaurant on our first evening and once again the food was lovely and served quickly considering there was a large party in that evening. The staff and bar staff made us feel very welcome. Finally and importantly I want to give a big shout out and thank Victoria on Reception for all her help given prior to our booking and ensuring all our requests were fulfilled. We were lucky enough to meet Victoria in person on the day we checked out so got to thank her personally. What a lovely, professional and helpful young lady a true credit to Maldron in Newcastle. We most definitely will stay again!

The room was really clean; the mirrors, shower and taps etc were really nicely polished. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was decent I didn't like the look of the sausages -very pale looking
