• Josef (8/5): - Die Unterkunft war sauber und bequem, das Personal freundlich. Leider war mir die Unterkunft zu weit entfernt sowohl zum Strand, als auch zu Restaurants und Bars.

• Allyson (5/5): Great location, reasonable price - Location One of the two bedrooms was not cleaned properly and the excuse from the cleaner was that she didn't know that both rooms would be used. There were at least 30 flies in that room. I spent 2 days killing them. Apparently to get a blanket for the room you needed to request one. And there were no hand towels (not in the kitchen, not for the bathroom). The owner was however very responsive, but assumed that they were not on the island to assist.

• Stacey (10/5): We absolutely loved it - The apartment is located in a good neighbourhood. 5 min walk to Browne’s Beach. Close to a grocery store and many smaller stores. The kitchen is well stocked in terms of plates etc. the housekeeper Antonia was available if we needed nothing. We will definitely book again Nothing. It was perfect

• Paulo (8/5): - Clean room, close to the beach, 15 minutes walking. The property provided a transfer to the apartment and even stopped at the supermarket so I could buy supplies — great service. For a couple looking just to enjoy the beach, it’s a good place. Pebbles Beach is very beautiful and perfect for spending several days. Just don’t expect luxury — the property is really simple, but it’s clean and ideal for those who just need a place to sleep, while still allowing you to experience the local culture better.

• Cecilia (9/5): Comfort - I like the prize and it had a lot of the things that offered. Maybe in the evening the neighborhood it’s a little darkness but if you take a take a taxi.
• Hugo (8/5): - I did not like that the property was advertised as having air conditioning, but there was only air conditioning in the bedroom. The rest of the apartment was sweltering, with only a floor fan that did not cool the living room or kitchen. That meant I had to spend most of my time in the bedroom. The apartment had two bath towels and no face towels. There is a washer but no dryer. It would be a nice touch to provide a couple of bottles of complimentary water for the arriving guests. Overall, the place was a good value for the money, despite the above-mentioned issues.
• Jay Mathieson (10/5): Perfect place, close to town - Close to beach, amazing air con in rooms, enough around. Pretty well had everything that we needed! Didn't have much hot water but with the heat, didn't really need it!
• dara (8/5): - I am satified with my experience at believe carbbean apartments. I would like to recomment lint free tawels and sheets. Also one of the cupboards was a little dirty. The manager of the property was very helpful and assisted us very well.
• Anna (9/5): Overall an awesome experience and a good value for money. - The location is in the quiet area of Bridgetown. It was nice to live a local experience. There is an awesome beach (Pebbles beach) in just a 10-15 min distance. The downtown is a 25 min walk or a 5-7 min distance by bus or by car.

Friendly locals Although the bed linen and towels were clean, we felt the apartment needs a good spring clean, especially the kitchen Lack of instruction re tv etc and no information about the area. The “excursion” organised for us was below standard, the driver/guide admitted that she did not know much about the island.

• Damian (9/5): Great value in gorgeous Barbados! - Shawn was waiting in the apartment to check us in before 3 pm. His recommendations about places to eat were very good. He provided extra toilet paper for the last day. The apartment is big and the ACs in the bedrooms work perfectly fine. The toilet was leaking water on the floor after flushing it. The apartment is about 4 blocks from the beach.

• Foght (8/5): Extremely helpful host, easy walking access to Pebbles Beach at a very good price - Sean was fantastic. He was helpful and responsive before, during and after check-in. He made arrangements for us to store our luggage until we could check in, then personally drove us to the apartment and gave us the door code and pertinent information. Then he arranged a day-trip driver for us for the next day and transfer to the airport the day after that. What a great help to make our short stay in Bridgetown even better! The apartment was only a 10-minute walk straight down Beckles Road to gorgeous Pebbles Beach and the services available there. The studio apartment was small and very basic, but had good AC and a kitchenette, and was scrupulously clean. The property was well-maintained and the surrounding community was quiet, felt safe and had additional amusement provided by the local chickens and roosters :-)
• Natalie (10/5): Exceptional - The studio was excellent, small but well-appointed kitchen and excellent air-conditioned. Everything was as I expected. Shawn was an excellent host. I was picked up at the airport, and Shawn stopped at the supermarket for me to pick up any groceries I needed. The location is a leisurely 10m walk to Carlisle Bay, which is a wonderful beach, and there are many bus stops close by. The location felt very safe and was quiet. I would definitely stay there again. Thank you Shawn All good

• Josh (8/5): As expected for a great price - The accommodation is quite small, about the size of a standard hotel room. I think the building is a 3 unit townhouse. The room has a small kitchen though with a sink, gas range, microwave, toaster and mini fridge/freezer. It's tucked just far enough away that we found ourselves walking at least 15 minutes to get just about anywhere to start. One of the closer nearby walks worth visiting is Carlisle Bay though - lots of water activities, bars/restaurants, and nice beaches to lounge at there. There were certainly nicer, bigger, and more exciting accommodations available than this one. But they cost a lot more. I'm quite happy with the experience given the price. I'd recommend it for those trying to do Barbados on a budget.
• Simon (9/5): Superb - It was great to stay in the heart of the community. The apartment was comfortable, and it was about a 10-minute walk from the beach. It was great having a code for entry, so no worries about carrying keys around. Shawn met me and was very friendly. It proved a great base for getting around from. I would definitely stay there again.

Mr. Shawn was exceptionally helpful. Great host!! The faucet in the face basin in the bath is way too short. It was a bit inconvenient using it. No water tank so when the main water supply was cut off we had to use containers.

• Blaine (9/5): Good Value Nice Community - We really enjoyed staying in a community. A great way to experience Bajan culture. By exploring a bit we found a few nice little variety/grocery stores which provided aĺl the basics. A 10 minute walk to Bay St. got us to a couple of local restaurants that had more reasonable prices than the more touristy spots. We found the bus system was great. Took a bus to Bathsheba and on another day to Folkstowne. Very reasonable pricing. Especially enjoyed our visits to Browne's Beach (10 minute walk). Lots of local families,all ages, enjoying themselves. The studio apartment is cozy and basic. The host, Shawn, was helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. Nothing we didn't like, but..... it's a little tight working in the kitchen with more than one person. Had to make sure my wife stayed out of the way 🙂. There is no table inside to eat on, but a nice little private porch with a table and chairs worked fine. Step stool would be helpful to reach higher cupboards.

• Douglas (9/5): Loved Barbados. The people are so friendly. - It was very easy to communicate on WhatsApp with Shawn prior to arrival. We arranged to be picked up at the airport and he drove us to the apartment, showed us how the door security codes worked and showed us around the apartment. Everything in the apartment was fine, good WiFi, good shower and both bedrooms had excellent air conditioning units. A good fridge, microwave and kitchen facilities were available if required. Payment with Shawn was easy and he gave us a lift back to the airport on departure. Nothing to complain about.
• Beverley (1/5): absolutely awful and no communication once on the island, area not desirable and not as described - we couldn’t even get into the property, really bad communication afterwards so can’t actually say anything I liked. lucky our taxi driver waited until we were in, unfortunately even he couldn’t get us in. awful location, definitely not as described. lack of communication.
• Katherinaf (7/5): Good for a short stay. - The owner was very friendly and helpful. Proximity to beach is about 10 minutes walk. Room could be a bit cleaner. The towels fall apart when you use them. New matress is needed.
