• Cuzzo4x4 (9/5): Great spot to stop for a night or more and you get the bonus of a great view - What a fabulous location close to town with a cafe on site and I had a waterfront cabin that looked across lake kununurra to elephant rock. Wifi was weak but I was right on the edge of the facility so I understand possibly why that was

Lovely to sit on the deck in the mornings to look at the lake and wonderful bird life. Would highly recommend to other travellers.

Plenty of power points. Outside deck area. BBQ. Park is clean. Lawned areas beautiful. Text info every afternoon. Poor, slow WiFi. We hot spotted from our mobiles. No bin bags, had to keep asking from them. West sliding door kept jamming. Key was jamming which we were told about.

• Fred Van de Gronde (8/5): Groen en waterrijk Kununurra - De locatie was perfect. Het ligt prachtig aan het Lily Lake Lagoon en een zeer korte autorit van het kern van Kununurra zelf. De cabin was van alles voorzien en bleef in de 40 graden hitte heerlijk koel. Het is een mooi groene locatie. Het koffiepunt "Spilled the Beans" was een uitkomst. Erg goeie koffie, smoothies en ontbijt. Er zijn voldoende wasmachines die met muntgeld of contactloos betaald kunnen worden. Let op! Contactloos kost meer... Voor ons was het bed te zacht. Verder was de badkamer erg klein. Meerdere keren mij knieën aan het wasbak gestoten. Er was ook geen kledingopbergruimte. Zwembad moest met de paarse swamp hen gedeeld worden.

• Sarah (8/5): Good choice! - Loved the modern decor of the cabin – we’ve stayed in a couple of dated rooms lately! The sofa is very comfy. Location is really good – close to town and next to a lake. The pool is really nice, too, and close to the cabin. The setting is attractive. The bathroom is VERY small! Perhaps 50cm width at its narrowest.

• Brigitte (9/5): Schöne Unterkunft mit toller Lage - Schöne Villa direkt am See mit Veranda. Gut ausgestattet. Bequemes Bett. Waschmaschine und Trockner im Compound vorhanden. Kosten AUS$ 4.30/Ladung. Ein paar Fahrminuten zum Mirim NP. Unterkunft kann ich nur empfehlen.

I highly recommend the options on the river but the other options are still good. Staff allowed me to check in 2 hours early as I stayed in one of the other cabins the night before.

• Sharon (8/5): A peaceful oasis - Waterfront Cabin recommended - Great coffee and toasties at the on-site Cafe. Very peaceful (no dogs barking). We stayed in a waterfront cabin with efficient air conditioning and all the kitchen and cooking facilities supplied, to be self-sufficient. The QS beds were comfortable and the linen and towels supplied were good quality. The bathroom needed a good scrub and there was insufficient toilet paper for 4 adults for 4 nights. When we pulled the sofa bed out, the mattress was stained and there was children's toys and dirt under the sofa's. Thorough cleaning needed, not just a wipe around. It would have been nice to have some bottled water in the fridge on arrival.

The coffee shop opened very early - loved that. You need a car. We didn't have one initially and it is a bit far to walk into the shops (very hot walk) and the local taxi was extremely expensive.

It was spacious and well equipped, the bed was large and very comfortable. The reception staff were very friendly and the cafe at the entrance with coffee and food was a bonus.

• Paul (10/5): Get a waterfront cabin for a treat! - What an absolute gem this place is. Right on the lagoon which is teeming with birdlife. We stayed in a waterfront cabin, which was bliss. It was quiet, and relatively private with a view straight out over the lagoon. We will stay here again next dry season for sure. Can't think of anything!! Loved everything about it.

• Geoffrey (9/5): A clean and comfortable cabin in a caravan park with water frontage. - The room was comfortable and well set out with a deck. Staff were helpful and friendly. There is an on-site cafe serving breakfast and lunch. It has a water frontage. Couldn't get the TV remote to work. Couldn't change channels, nor use the remote to switch it off. No doubt this has already been fixed before somebody else has the cabin.

Several prompts to reception by myself and partner. Received text to say clean was to occur following day. To lock valuables etc. still did not happen even on 2nd last day. So gave up. Used our own beach towels. Very disappointed- as was great location and facilities. We seen cleaners coming and going servicing units around ours.

• Deborah (9/5): Superb - The waterfront cabins are beautifully located on the shore of Lilly Creek, the birdlife on the water is profuse and absorbing. There is a breeze from the lake which makes spending time on the front deck a pleasure - eating, reading, watching activities on the creek. The Spill the Beans cafe at the entry to the park has good coffee and great quiches and other food. Park management advises when food trucks are available, when onsite markets are happening, and will organise tours and experiences. Nothing.

I can’t wait to stay again. - Amazing toasties and coffee at Spilled the Beans Friendly staff everywhere Twin rooms were amazing for families, dark rooms with great curtains, view was amazing, the live on Sunday nearly had us in tears it was so beautiful sitting on the grass by the lagoon

Beautiful clean cabin with all the essentials we required. Comfortable bed, quiet aircon & ceiling fan. Great seating area amongst lush gardens. The pool was a welcome relief on a hot day. Best bonus was the on-site cafe for breakfast. Fantastic Bacon & Egg toasted sandwich & great coffee, all served with a smile. Would definitely stay again; n highly recommend to other travellers.
