Un excelente servicio todas las personas incluido el dueño muy amables siempre predispuestas a atendernos y ayudarnos en todo lo que necesitábamos la comida las picaditas de la tarde losmolstos fuertes incluido el desayuno muy rico muy bien preparado y lo que nos gustó es que ellos se adaptan a lo que te guste comer o como tú desees que lo preparen siempre te preguntan, lo recomiendo a ojos cerrados tiene una acceso espectacular al mar el cual es muy hermoso muy limpio sin nada de basura, las habitaciones bien arregladas y aseadas con todos los servicios funcionales y aparte todos los cuartos son vista al mar a nosotros nos tocó una con una vista increíble, tienen una piscina super amplia y bien mantenida con una pequeña cascada, recomiendo mucho este lugar mágico y tranquilo para pasar en familia y en si recomiendo mompiche todos allí son muy serviciales, me encantó tanto que espero volver para fin de año, como dato importante si viajas con tu mascota la cual fue mi caso, lo van a tratar con mucho cariño y amor, en fin fue un feriado increíble en este lugar.

- Timothy (10/5): - Located at the Northeast end of the villiage of Mompiche, only a 2-3 minute walk to the bustling, yet small center. The hotel is gated and ample parking is available inside the gates. I was greeted by Jose, one of the property managers who was very friendly. Upon checking in, he asked me what I wanted for breakfast the next day and when I wanted it (breakfast was included in my reservation). The next morning I was greeted by Jose and his boss, Freddie, who had breakfast ready for me at the small dining area next to the pool (which was quite nice). I chatted with Freddie and shared my plans to visit Isla Portete and Playa Negra which are about a 45min walk from the hotel. Freddie kindly offered to arrange a moto taxi for me, but ended up driving me in his personal car to the boat launch to Portete! Overall, my stay was very pleasant, mainly due to the friendly, kind, and informative staff at Bernabeth.

- Recoveringnomad (2/5): Slim pickings - Dead insects everywhere, disgusting rooms, run down property that hasn't been maintained for..years? The only OK was the staff, they were friendly and kind. The only bonus of the installations is the fact they have AC, Mompiche is terribly humid.

- Cesar Luis (8/5): UN BELLO RINCÓN EN LA PLAYA - El hotel es precioso y la atención de los dueños es magnífica, te sientes seguro y estás a 3 calles del centro del pueblo en el que puedes conseguir casi de todo. Quizá en lo que se pueda hacer énfasis para mejorar es en el servicio de internet (wi-fi) que presentaba intermitencia y baja velocidad, por lo demás estupendo.

- Verified traveler (8/5): - The hotel is located in a little town, rather right outside of it. As you get there it’s not exactly a pretty sight. The hotel is a bit old and lacking in maintenance, especially the entrance and parking. The rooms are very well-kept, clean and nice. The pool could have been a little cleaner but it was nice as well. Breakfast was included: very basic, nothing fancy but good. The great thing about this property is that it has direct access to the beach, which was wonderful.
- Angela (6/5): Falta de atencion en la temporada baja - El estado era en general acceptable. El señor que trabajo nos hizo el estado accetable porque era muy amable. Pero por la situacion que era temporada baja solo havia una pareja mas en el hotel. El restaurante y el karaoke estavan cerrados. El desayuno: solo habia una opcion, pero parecio que en la temporada alta tendria un buffet. Por ese precio que pagamaos estuvimos esperando mas y estuvimos descepcionado de la atencion que recibimos y eso solamente porque es la temporada baja. Para nosotros deberian dar la mismo atencion en qualquer temporada.

Pese a que el personal es muy atento y cordial, las instalaciones están muy dejadas y no son acordes a las fotos publicadas, las cuales serán del día de inauguración de hace unos 10 años o más. Todo está muy dejado y con una gran falta de mantenimiento.

- E4415XTalessandroc (6/5): A good deal - Been in this hotel with a friend from nov.19th to nov.26th. Although we were two, we book a room for four. The room was comfortable, quite large, and with a breathtaking view on the waves only 10 (yes,ten) meters far,and kept very clean. We were even able to instruct the reception- thank you Juan Carlos- about the time to make up our room best fitting with our timetable! The bathroom a lil bit too small, but with a large shower cabin I really enjoyed. The personnel is very ery friendly and always available to meet your needs as far as they can. There's a reasonably large pool, but one can find himself on the sandy beach that is 5 (five) meter far from the hotel's wall, and directly accessible through the hotel's gate.I'm quite satisfied. The structure is not brand new, but honourably maintained. The common spaces are generous and with palms and well looked after green. Price is absolutely reasonable and fair in respect of what you pay. Not luxury, but quite comfortable to stay. On a scale from 1 to ten, I d award a full 7 plus. Alessandro Calloni Milano, Italy
- Pedro (2/5): - No es lo que vi en las fotos, el lugar está deteriorado las habitaciones sucias con camas que ya no tienen soporte. El desayuno que se pago extra la comida estaba pésima, cruda y por cualquier cosa que se pedía le querían cobrar adicional. Yo pague por desayuno buffet y nada de eso. Los baños tenían telaraña. Este hotel no es de 4 1/2 estrellas. Yo le daría 1 a 2 muy decepcionado de este hotel
- Thirumoolar (2/5): I would not wish this on anyone - I had a very disappointing experience here, i left early it was so bad even though I had pre-paid, and the owner instead of returning 2 days of rent, proceeded to lie to excuse himself from responsibility, decency. fairness, and his word. His facilities were falsely advertised. I feel sorry for the people he employs, as I'm sure they are embarrassed to pretend there is any value to the price of admission.
- Yael (2/5): DON'T DO IT!!! - Hundreds of black bugs in the bathroom and shower. Falling off the celing! No HOT water! AT ALL! Came with two small children and the manager said there's nothing to do. The bugs are "a problem of this area of the beach". Mosquitoes everyone in the hotel. It was terrible. Pros: Beautiful beach. Nice pool. DON'T DO IT!!!!
- rachelp189 (8/5): nice hotel - excellent staff - Instead of staying the 330 dollar Decameron hotel, we stayed at Bernabeth for 2 nights- 110 dollars per night for 3 px. The manager is lovely - very accommodating and friendly, as are all the reception staff. There is direct access to the beach (when the tide is out, when its in the sea comes right up), nice swimming pool, and nice rooms - really spacious with good air con and clean. Close to the centre with lots of hotels. The only criticism is the lack of staff. There is a bar next to the pool, but when I went they had only beer and soft drinks (i wanted a cocktail), after I was served a beer the barman left and the bar closed - to be fair it was at night about 7.30pm, but even so, it should be open. Also, the spa area was closed and looked abandoned - no water in the Jacuzzi and the massage tables looked worn. Also, there are games (fusball, table tennis, a playground for kids), but a lot of it looked run down, but usable - i think because it was low season. Thhe noise didnt bother us - we couldnt hear it at all once we were in the room.ere is a disco (which was empty) and a karaoke bar - full of singing Colombians, but t There are cheaper places around,but when travelling with kids it is different to backpacking! The manager is great, the breakfasts good, and the rooms nice. Would recommend.
- lp151 (2/5): Bernabeth ruined the river and environment - We've come to Mompiche for several years. It a place of island ambiance--open air restaurants, palm thatched roofs. Bernabeth built directly on a tidal river which used to be walkable even in high tides. The hotel had problems with the department of marine environment for putting their sea wall too far into the ocean. Because of the environmental sensitivity of the land, it should have been declared unbuildable. Now the river, cut off from its usual path, cuts a deep and dangerous channel. In high tide neither cars nor people can cross. This is damaging for other business and other hotels further down the beach. We are not recommending anything, but there are far nicer places to stay, cleaner, far better ambiance, and some quieter. The usual price at these places is $15 per person and you can try all the good restaurants in town. Bernabeth doesn't even allow beach access from its property. It is really dissatisfying in all respects.
- spentana (2/5): Everything about this place stinks, I mean everything! - Had the worst massage in my life! Did not sleep all night because of the karaoke bar in the hotel. The breakfast was very disappointing. This place is waaay overpriced. Do not stay here! The decor is awful and they check your room before they let you leave to make sure you have not stolen anything. Oh and the TV had no reception.
