- charlette (8/5): The room combined elegant design with thoughtful functionality, offering a perfect balance of comfor - The Coach House was the perfect retreat for a work trip.
After a four-hour drive, I was delighted to find a beautifully designed room that truly exceeded expectations — thoughtfully equipped with every comfort one could need. The luxury tea-making facilities, complete with fresh milk in the mini-fridge and a tempting selection of biscuits, were such a welcome touch.
The host went above and beyond, providing excellent local recommendations. I followed their advice and dined at The Chequers, just a few minutes away — the food and atmosphere were both outstanding.
A personal highlight was the powerful, piping-hot shower (a vast improvement on my last stay elsewhere, where the water pressure couldn’t have misted an orchid! 🤣). The only minor drawback was the lighting — wonderfully soft and relaxing for arrival, creating a calm atmosphere, but a little too dim in the morning when getting ready for work. Even with the lights on, it was tricky to apply makeup, though I had come prepared with a small portable light (as many boutique venues have a similar ambient setup). A mirror positioned on the dressing table would make this room absolutely perfect. I also have to commend the thoughtful detail of providing a black makeup towel — such a considerate and practical touch that guests in the beauty industry especially appreciate.
- Janene (8/5): Lovely stay - The room was beautiful and surrounding area was lovely. The design was lovely and location was good. The bed was a bit hard for us but that’s just down to our preferences.

- Susan (9/5): - Perfect welcome from the lovely host. Delightful property. Super location. Continental breakfast to die for😃 Very creaky floor boards throughout. Can hear next door neighbours talking in adjacent unit. Window blinds don’t fit some of the windows thus impacting sense of privacy.
- Simon (10/5): The visit exceeded all expectatons - Full English Breakfast was fantastic, Room was bright and fresh, location ideal. Hosts were brilliant the service five star Their was nothing to dislike
- Andrew Evers (10/5): - Peaceful location near a village pub that serves excellent food.
- Fiona (8/5): A fab couple of comfy nights in a great location. - Beautiful location, friendly hosts, great pub next door, close to Stamford. If you don't get on with dogs then you might not like them under the table at breakfast. The were well behaved and friendly though.
- Olwynne (10/5): It was a pleasant and relaxing end to a busy day - Breakfast was excellent. Well presented and tasty. The room was spacious, well appointed and very comfortable. The owners were friendly hosts. Can't think of anything
- Samantha (10/5): Would highly recommend this gem! - Tastefully decorated facilities with friendly owners and great communications.
- foll (8/5): A peaceful spot with a lovely owner - Lovely owner, excellent location, good pubs nearby, spacious, modern, clean, rooms. We were left feeling happy with our choice. They only have two quiet, adjacent rooms in a separate annexe. WiFi signal weak, same with phone WiFi. Open windows helped! Furniture all a bit too modern. Don’t be deterred, this is a lovely B&B.
- AH (10/5): A lovely top class stay ,along with beautiful accommodation and great hosts. - It was lovely from start to finish, accommodation was great for two couples, the hosts we're very attentive and made sure we had everything.
The surrounding village is lovely ,very quiet and peaceful. Would definitely recommend if you needed top class accommodation for your stay in the area. Nothing comes to mind.

- Howard (9/5): Worth it. I'll stay here again if I come up this way again. - everything was wonderful except for the bed. Other than that the room was wonderful.

- Samuel (10/5): Exceptional stay, fantastic hosts - We have had such a relaxing stay in this beautifully decorated and well equipped coach house. Everything we needed was provided including an incredibly comfortable bed, an amazing in bedroom bath tub and tea and coffee facilities. We enjoyed both breakfast options over our two day stay. A hamper with fruit, cereal and pastries on the first morning and a wonderful full English breakfast the second morning. Patrick and Jenny were really friendly, welcomed us and helped make our stay a fantastic experience. We would thoroughly recommend people stay here and we would certainly like to come again in the future. Nothing. We liked everything.
- Susan (10/5): Beautiful b&b. We will definitely stay here again - Absolutely stunning room with a free standing bath in the main bedroom. The decor and attention to detail was exceptional. Luxurious bedding & towels. Water, Tea, coffee, biscuits in room. The breakfast was amazing too, taken in the hosts own house/ beautiful conservatory. We ate the evening we arrived at the pub next door & Patrick came in & had a drink with us. View of the church from the room in the morning was very picturesque.

- Richard (10/5): Superb - Quiet, well presented, excellent breakfast and friendly team. Nothing
- Hannah (10/5): Exceptional - A lovely stay and lovely room with great finishing touches
- Stephen (7/5): If the bathroom was sorted out it would be lovely. - A warm welcome by the owner. The first impression was very good. Very comfortable and warm. A modern barn conversion and clean. What was a big disappointment was the condition of the bathroom. The shower head was brown and so full of limescale I refused to use it and had a bath instead. The area around the hand basin was well worn. Basically the bathroom was very tired and for us let down what would have been a great find.
On a more positive note we appreciated it was Christmas Eve and although not a cooked breakfast in the morning a very good breakfast of croissants, various pastries, cereal, juices, tea and coffee delivered to our room. The bathroom see above. It let down what would otherwise have been a great find.
- Emma (9/5): Exceeded expectations. A very relaxing stay after a hard day at work. - Loved the property, very comfortable. Owners friendly and welcoming. Just a couple of very minor issues with the room that needed some attention, but owners were already aware and were in the process of fixing them.
- James (9/5): Superb -
- Natasha (10/5): Exceptional - Comfiest bed I’ve ever slept in! Every detail thought of in the room.
