Geronimo (10/5): Best sleep I had in some time - Our stay at The Block Hotel in Bisbee was just what we needed after a long work week. Check in was simple and quick, we found our room easily with the instructions given by the host. Our room was clean and comfortable. The bed and linens were spotless and very inviting after a night on the town. Though it was only one night, the Block definitely left a great impression and we will be booking again! Thank you so much for making our weekend unforgettable!
Lisa (10/5): - We stayed in the “Deluxe Suite, Multiple Beds, Patio, Ground Floor” room. The room and bathroom were immaculate! The mattresses seemed new and were very comfortable. There were four clean, high quality pillows on each bed and the sheets were also good quality sheets. It was clear the owner took pride in the comforts of the guests. The only detraction was that we couldn’t really enjoy the patio because of a strong mildew smell coming from a holding cell at the end of the patio and from some of the block on the patio walls. Otherwise, everything else was perfect. Easy 2-5 minute walk to several restaurants and most attractions. Check-in was easier than anticipated, parking was easy, and the hotel was quiet (even on a Saturday night)! I would stay here again anytime due to the extremely comfortable beds and the amazing cleanliness of the room!

We quickly adapted to not having a "desk person" and found the email instructions with codes for entering easy to follow. The room was immaculate, beds were super comfortable, and the AC was fantastic!

Verified traveler (8/5): The Block Bisbee Single Queen Bed (Room 4) - The room was small, perfect for 2 people. Very little noise from the street/other guests. The bed was very comfortable compared to other hotels out there and the bedding was super insulated which trapped a good amount of warmth so beware if you run hot at night. The only thing I wish the room had was a mini fridge to store leftovers from some of the eateries around town. There was a microwave in the lobby area so it would have been nice to be able to keep something cool and then heat it up downstairs. Otherwise great place, would stay there again!

Since there is no breakfast at the hotel, it might be a nice touch to have some sort of scones or crackers at the station. The room was small, but had all of the necessities. The bed was very comfortable.

Carol (10/5): - What an exceptional experience. We had the first floor double king size room that once served as the courtroom. From a comfort view, the beds were extraordinary. Plus bedside tables and lamps and plenty of places to plug in phones and laptops. The WiFi provided strong service. The room was huge, and there were spots on the wall where you could see the original iron bars that served as the general lockup for those awaiting their courtroom appearance. Then there was a private balcony / room with a solitary confinement jail cell. The bathroom appeared to be completely new and modern. How modern? How about a toilet that has a night light, bidet with massaging water and adjustable temperature. A heated seat and air dryer for your butt. Automatic flush when you came off the seat, or, if standing just use the foot sensor. Maybe though you might just want to use the remote control for all those features. All I know, is that now the missus wants to outfit our house with those! The vanity was new and modern and the shower, with overhead rain feature and handheld wand, was big enough to host a party, plus plenty of hot water. Also, besides being clean and tidy, there was a common room with seating, tables, microwave, water (hot and cold) and keurig coffee machine fully stocked with coffee, tea, creamers, honey and more. All in all you couldn't ask for a better place and to go one better, it was priced lower than other surrounding hotels.
Verified traveler (10/5): Excellent - Clean, quiet, and comfortable - We stayed in the king bedroom suite. Excellent stay and would stay again. Hotel was easy to communicate with and responsive. Free parking across the street close and easy to access. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Place was quiet and a very quick walk to the main part of town. Brought our dog which was accommodated with no issue.
Karen (6/5): - Rating would have been much higher if there was actually a person to check you. Everything is done on-line. Took 30-40 minutes to finally get codes once we filled in the online forms. If you are travelling and booking and you have a weak phone signal, good luck getting your room. It was a very awkward procedure.
Whitney (10/5): - Stayed in the double king bed room located on the ground floor. My friend is in a wheelchair and found it pretty much completly handicap accessible. The pictures listed dont do the room justice. Massive room with old jail bars, huge shower, private patio with a old jail cell that definitely had some creepy vibes. The beds and pillows were very comfortable even though the sheets didnt seem to want to stay on. Would stay here again.
