- Grace (9/5): Amazing affordable stay in Hoi An - This is a lovely family run homestay just outside Hoi An old town. The staff are so friendly and helpful and the room was lovely and spacious. They offer daily cleaning services, a laundry service and bike hire which is brilliant. Would definitely recommend for an amazing affordable stay in Hoi An. Breakfast is not included but this isn’t an issue as there are plenty of lovely cafes nearby.

- Anna (10/5): - Very convenient location, you can get to the old town in 10 - 15 minutes on foot or a few minutes by taxi. Clean and comfortable room with good internet(for me it was important, I work remotely). Yen helped me a lot, she tried to solve any issue as quickly as possible, she offered to get to Da Nang by transfer and I paid less then in Grab application.

Wir konnten uns zu einem fairen Preis Fahrräder ausleihen, Tipps was die Schneidereien in der Stadt angeht abholen und und auch bei allen anderen Fragen immer bei ihr melden. Sie hat uns sogar netterweise das gekaufte Obst vom Markt nebenan geschnitten ☺️. Yen hat auch immer versucht uns für alle Taxis oder den Nachtbus zum nächsten Ort die besten Preise rauszusuchen. Wir sind froh, noch eine Nacht verlängert zu haben! Danke!
- Marisol (9/5): - Die Besitzerin war extrem nett und bemüht, sie hat am Anfang viel über Hoi An erklärt und wir konnten Touren und die Weiterfahrt mit einem Sleeper Bus über sie buchen mit Abholung direkt an der Unterkunft. Sie hat sich sehr bemüht dass alles geklappt hat und wir Spaß hatten! An der Unterkunft gibt es Fahrräder und Motorroller zum Verleih, außerdem wird ein Laundry Service angeboten. Die Lage war sehr gut, viel zu Fuß erreichbar, direkt vor der Tür immer ein riesiger Markt mit frischem Obst. Wir haben Obst gekauft und wollten ein Messer ausleihen, dann wurde im Hotel für uns das Obst geschnitten.

She organised a rental motorbike and baggage transfer to hue via hai van pass through motorvista who met us at the hotel. The room was exceptionally clean and cleaned again daily. - Justinas (9/5): Everything was great and would recommend it. - The staff was amazingely friendly. Location is great too, everything is close but at the same time further from the main action. The room was spacious and had everything that was needed. It has a parcing for the scooter under the roof. I would consider staying there again. I noticed that the bedsheets were’t very clean but apart from that room was clean.

Chambre avec forte odeur d'humidité, salle de bain rustique qui demanderait de la modernité ou tout du moins un bon rafraîchissement. Climatiseur difficile à mettre en marche et très bruyant. La literie est confortable. Dès vélos sont en location mais vu leur état ils pourraient être gratuit. Donc rien de méchant mais peut mieux faire.

Personnel plus qu’adorable : Hau m’a donné des super adresses, m’a aidée pour mes déplacements et s’est toujours montrée arrangeante. On y loue des vélos bien moins cher qu’ailleurs. Chambre nettoyée tous les jours, et un rapport qualité-prix inégalable. Mon meilleur hébergement au Vietnam ! Tout était parfait.

- Jasmun (9/5): Schönes ruhiges Zimmer - Sehr schönes großes Zimmer mit einem Balkon ins Grüne, auch nachts war es sehr ruhig. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ich hatte (vermutlich der Lage im grünen geschuldet) sehr viele Mitbewohner im Zimmer (etliche Raupen, Käfer, Ameisen, Geckos), wer da empfindlich ist sollte genau schauen.

- Enora (10/5): Parfait ! - La chambre était très confortable et très propre, l'homestay est idéalement situé à distance de marche du vieux Hoi An, situé dans une rue calme, pas de bruits du traffic. J'ai été chaleureusement accueillie Hau, dès ma reservation confirmée sur booking, j'ai reçu immédiatement un message personnalisé de Hau, très apprécié, dès mon arrivée Hau m'attendais à l'entrée de l'homestay et a pris de son temps pour échanger avec moi sur mon voyage, de m'accompagner jusqu'a ma chambre et m'aider avec mes bagages avec un grand sourire, Hau est à l'aise en anglais c'etait un plaisir à chaque échanges avec elle, toujours un bonjour et un sourire et quelques petits mots. Je suis arrivée avant l'heure du check-in, j'ai pu avoir les clés de ma chambres et m'installer en avance. Si je suis de passage à Hoi an je reviendrais sans hésiter.
- Katharina Isabella (8/5): Nah an der Altstadt, ruhig gelegen, saubere Unterkunft, sehr hilfsbereites Servicepersonal - Sauberes Zimmer, saubere Handtücher, gute Lage und extrem bemüht das Hotel Service und damit Frau Hau Nguyen! Baustelle am Weg zum Haus verursachte etwas Schlamm auf dem Weg zum Haus, ein paar Meter… Man konnte gut durchgehen aber es war sehr gewöhungbedürftig. Wasser nur am 1. Tag kostenlos.

- Tijana (7/5): Do not leave the room without taking your valuables with you or locking up your begs - Comfy bed, available towels in the bathroom, sleepers, possibility to extend last minute, bike rentale - There is no safe in the room to look up your valuables. *Not informing the guest about daily housekeeping when you do not have a "do not disturb sign" on your door is unacceptable. **Primary etiquette in hospitality is to give the guest the right to refuse cleaning service. For a 2 night stay in a homestay (extended last minute) absolutely not necessary to enter the room and "clean" when there was nothing to clean. - I worked in hotels and have travelled to over 50 countries across the world, and have never felt this vulnerable leaving the room with my begs open. - Outrageous to have to lock up all begs in a short homestay to avoid my valuables being exposed to potential theft. !Your apologies and explanations will not remedy how vulnerable I felt and how much it affected the way I see safety of my things and data protection in your accommodation. - you can hear everything in the building if people are not quiet - woken up by roosters every day - if you are woken up by light, this room is not for you

- Anželika (10/5): Super, very good homestay - Very clean room, big room, big bathroom. The shower with window to separate the sink (it’s rare). Homestay very good, and the host (positive and smiling) explained very well « what to do, where to get breakfast and see in 2 days 1 night ». Even to save time, she help us to book tickets for the Hanoï fantasyland show. Nothing to complain about at all !!! We highly recommend Bean Grass Homestay. We will be back 😌 Hummm, everything was fine !

- Alex (8/5): Very good - Fresh towels and made bed every day. Decent location and a nice balcony. Water pressure for the shower was great Only issue was I saw quite a lot of Lizards in the room. Harmless little creatures but they did make me jump when I saw one crawling on the wall next to my bed a couple times
- Millie (9/5): Comfortable and accommodating - The property is location in an alley but is only a 10min walk to the old town. The rooms are big and spacious. We had one with a little balcony which was cute. The room was cleaned everyday. The bathrooms are modern looking and the hot water works well. The lady at the reception is lovely. We got there at 6:30am after a sleeper bus and were prepared to wait till check in before we could do anything. She let us use the spare bathroom to clean up after our journey and then gave us a map and explained where everything was and gave recommendations. We then got to check in at 8am which we were extremely happy about given the previous nights journey. Each morning we were greeted by the lady at reception and asked how we were and what our plans were for the day which again was just lovely. We also hired peddly bikes from here which only cost 30k dong for the day! As well as this they provided a laid day service which was spot on 30k per kg and they booked us a taxi to da nang which cost around £4 each I think! Over all lovely experience and if I was to ever return to Hoi An I would choose to stay here immediately!

- Edith (9/5): lovely staff and overall would definitely come again - good location, about a 20 min walk to the old town. staff were very welcoming - in particular Hien who gave us lots of recommendations for things to do and places to eat. we rented bikes for the day from them which was cheap and fun. we also utilised the laundry service which was quick and good. room was a good size and had a nice balcony. the pillowcases and sheets had marks on them but nothing that bad. the shower leaked into the rest of the bathroom even with the shower door closed.

- Andrew (10/5): Perfect homestay not too far from Old Town - I had a really nice 3 day stay at Bean Grass. Hien and her team are wonderful people who make your stay as relaxing as possible. Some things to note: great wifi if you need to work, easy to rent bicycles to ride around Hoi An, super clean and comfortable rooms with balcony/patio, TV with lots of channels when you want to unwind at night, really quiet area so you can sleep at peace. I'll definitely stay here again if I come back to Hoi An!

- Alexandr (9/5): We can recommend Bean Grass Homestay as a base for exploring Hoi An; we would definitely come back! - Even before arriving in Hoi An, we received a lot of useful information related to our stay from Hien, the front desk officer at Bean Grass Homestay. The homestay is located in a quiet part of Hoi An; yet, it is only about 10-15 minute walk away from the old town, which makes it a great base for exploring local attractions. In addition, for a small fee of 30 000 VND per day (less than 1.5 USD), it is possible to rent bicycles there to extend the range of explorations. Our triple room looked pretty much exactly like the pictures on the Booking.com website. The room was cleaned every day, including the change of towels, and the beds were comfortable. During our stay at Bean Grass Homestay, Hien was super helpful and gave us great assistance with organizing various day trips and other activities in the area. Thanks to her, we were able to get the best out of our trip to Hoi An :-) We did not have any negative experiences during our stay at Bean Grass Homestay.

The bed is soft, the AC is strong (not that you need it in January) and the shower is hot and powerful. The room has good sound proofing for Asia so you are not disturbed by outside sounds. I would definitely stay here again.

- Taslima (10/5): Amazing - I liked everything about the homestay. Hein was the sweetest person I’ve met in Vietnam. She honestly sorted everything out for us from the moment we arrived. She booked cheap bus tickets, tours and gave us recommendations etc. She even warned us about how to not get scammed and how much to pay for things around hoi an. Her recommended tailor was good and very cheap as well. We extended our stay because we loved hoi a first of all and then Hein treatment made us stay longer honestly sweetest person ever. We had 2 single beds room with balcony, WiFi was good, they cleaned our room everyday. Deffo recommended bean grass homestay. Nothing, everything was perfect

- Jesper (10/5): Exceptional - Really clean and quiet property. The owner is super friendly and provided me with cheaper and easy options for what is available in hoi an. Room is well lit with strong wifi It's a little bit far from the old town. I didn't mind walking or taking a grab.
