Guest Reviews
- Tobias (10/5): - Sehr schöne Unterkunft, tolle Lage, alles perfekt vorbereitet und organisiert. Sehr zu empfehlen.
- Sarah (10/5): - Excellent place to stay, very clean, peaceful and private.
Not to far to walk into the town.
Lovely breakfast supplied each day.
- Achim (9/5): Perfekte Fewo für Naturliebhaber. - Top Lage! Ruhig, naturnah.
- christopher (10/5): Only stayed for one night but would of loved to stay longer was like having your own apartment to live in lovely locatio - Great location and really comfortable Nothing it was perfect
- Stefania (10/5): Cottage favoloso - La posizione è molto bella.
- Thomas (10/5): Warm and friendly feeling from owners ,excellent view from accommodation area nice and quiet - Good breakfast location excellent.
- Clenton (10/5): - We had such a lovely stay at Chyreen @ Marazion! From the moment we arrived, the host was incredibly welcoming, friendly, and always happy to help with anything we needed, which made the whole experience feel really relaxed and personal.
A really thoughtful touch was the delicious creamy pastry left for us as a complimentary welcome — such a nice surprise after travelling! The place itself was spotless, comfortable, and in a beautiful, peaceful location. We especially loved the view overlooking the field with horses — it was so calm and relaxing.
There was convenient parking available, and the whole area was wonderfully quiet, perfect for switching off and enjoying the surroundings.
Breakfast was also a highlight — fresh, tasty, and great value, especially as it was included in the price. It really set us up for the day.
Overall, a fantastic stay and we’d definitely come back. Highly recommend!
- Tracey (10/5): Beautiful property in a quiet area. - Very quiet and peaceful, lovely extra touches at the accommodation.
- Mark (10/5): Beautiful weather beautiful place - The location is quiet and with good access to everything. A walk away from the beach and buses if required.
Lovely views comfy interior and lovely breakfast plus surprise cream tea waiting Nothing
- Tess (10/5): Wished we could've stayed longer! - Picture perfect. Our stay was so enjoyable. The bed was super plush pillows like clouds on my head. We were lucky enough to experience walking the causeway of St. Michael's Mount before the tides enveloped it. We stayed on the upper loft whilst our friends stayed downstairs. We all had a great time.
Such a lovely host in Erika! She made the cottages feel welcoming. Fresh milk, fruits, juice, and pastries. When we arrived, there was a horse grazing on the field.
We walked to the town for drinks and dinner per our host's, her recommendation was spot on!
Wished we could've stayed longer.

The bathroom was very luxurious with wonderful shower products. The continental breakfast was outstanding. After I had finished tucking in to a delicious cream tea with home scones, the owner arrived with fresh croissants for the morning. There was everything you could possibly need from orange juice to sourdough bread. I highly recommend this property. It was great.

- Megan (10/5): A quiet breathtaking getaway close to the beach! - This was wonderful! The view from the patio is gorgeous. It’s a short walk to the beach as well! We saw so many animals. Everything was very clean and the inside was so cute. The breakfast was excellent and had a generous assortment of items.
- Ella (10/5): Fantastic place to stay in feeling like home - The property is cozy, feels like brand new, decorated with good taste, elegant, comfortable, is in the middle of nature, quiet, well located, easy to find, it has great appliances, breakfast was fantastic, fresh food, all what we would like to find in a property for breakfast, it feels like home, owners gave us fresh baked croissants which was a beautiful welcoming gesture and we love it. We felt great value for money. We could hear the steps of people walking on the property which is above this. It didn’t bother us that much as the people were quiet and considerate
- Steven (9/5): -
- Verified traveler (10/5): Beautifully furnished - I had the loft. Beautifully furnished. I especially love the layout with bed and sofa overlooking the balcony to the field. Very calming indeed. Even the blinds created a pattern when the morning light shone through the perforations. Quite magical.
The hostess was very responsive on email and obliging. Her personal touch of home made scones and Cornish cream tea was very much appreciated. Breakfast consisted of delicious croissants. There was a complimentary bow of fruit as well.
The toiletries smelt wonderful. Just watch your head on the sloped ceiling
I highly recommend you stay here. A stones throw from st Michael’s Mount. Actually nowhere is really far away in Cornwall …. It’s all very manageable
- Lydia (10/5): Highly recommended, loved our stay in comfortable, well provided for and friendly host who was very accommodating in all - High spec, clean, spacious, well equipped, comfortable. Cream tea provided plus bread, butter, orange juice, cereal, tea, coffee and later on an unexpected treat of croissants delivered! Parking provided (available early by arrangement). Walkable to the beach and Marazion. Quiet at night. Nothing.
- Stuart (10/5): - Had an excellent 2 night stay in 'the loft' in a lovely quiet location with great views.
The Loft is fitted out to a high standard, and there's nothing better after a day of work as sitting on your own balcony with a cuppa and a free cream scone (4 of which are provided on your first night). The provided breakfast is varied, plentiful and more free fresh croissants arrive every day.... although for 1 person, 4 is definitely too many to get through each 24hrs.
I look forward to hopefully staying again when back in the area for work later in the year.
Very happy to recommend for both work and holiday stays..... i'm sure a week's stay would be just as relaxing.
- Katherine (10/5): - Great spot, easy parking, you could walk to town. Dan & Erika very friendly, always made sure we didn’t need anything. Breakfast included, scones for afternoon tea. Would come back.
- Julie (10/5): Exceptional accomodation, great location and delicious cream tea - The room was beautifully designed, very clean with some lovely touches. We enjoyed a delicious cream tea and breakfast was plentiful with local produce. Nothing
- William (9/5): A lovely property in Marazion. - We visit Marazion once a year. We particularly liked this property because we could park the car and the walk into Marazion was very doable. The property was beautiful and clean and very well designed. It was small, being only one room and the bathroom but the balcony was a great bonus with lovely views of the countryside and views to the sea from the room. The breakfast came every day which was perfect. Perhaps the pastries could be different each day but that is the only comment. Such a treat and then to have the room serviced every day. It was really lovely. We stayed in the Loft and another time I would try and book The Lookout or come with friends and book the whole house.
- Emily (10/5): Lovely spot to relax and have a bit of luxury . - Spotlessly clean
Lovely breakfast
Great location for exploring
Relaxing and peaceful Nothing. Would come again !
- Luke (10/5): Exceptional -
- Richard (4/5): Nice place but lacks all round privacy - Great location, just a 5 minute walk into the town or down to the beach The severe lack of privacy. We had the ground floor "lookout" which due to the lack of blinds or curtains would be better called the "look in".
The large patio doors lacked blinds or curtains meaning anyone in the adjoining fields or garden could comfortably look into the property day or night.. What I found weird was that the front door to the upstairs apartment seemed to have blinds on the window part.
The beds are far too soft (personal preference) and for some reason the heating system was locked so we could not comfortably adjust the temperature in the apartment.
I appreciate that this property is not an air b&b however I dont seem to understand what the owners want to class it as due to the fact they insist on servicing the apartment daily however have no set times for this and fail to inform you when they may decide to turn up at the door.
The offer of fresh croissants for breakfast are delivered the afternoon or evening before (no set time for this) meaning we could be in, out, watching the tv or cooking a meal and the owners will turn up at the patio doors with a tray. When I asked for a rough time when they might be delivered they couldn't tell me and said if we were not there they would just let themselves in which I find a bit inappropriate as we have rented the accommodation.
Im not sure if they hope to engage with people who stay there however sometimes people want to be left alone to enjoy their holiday and not have to worry if the owners are going to pop in at any point. I also found it annoying that the owner insisted on mowing the garden after we had arrived, surely this is something that should have been done prior to us arriving.
The apartment was clean however maybe a quick hoover between the settee cushions might be an idea as there was a build up of crumbs and other bits...
- Janet (10/5): Lovely apartment, thoroughly enjoyed our stay. - Lovely apartment with a good-size private garden for our use that had nice views over the fields around it. Our hosts were very friendly and made us feel very welcome. They provided an excellent continental breakfast every day, with fresh croissants, milk and orange juice. The cream tea on arrival was great too! It's an easy walk to the beach and into the village to eat. The Cutty Sark restaurant was very good. Nothing! (Maybe a couple of extra mugs would be useful?)
- Dan (10/5): We were well looked after , croissants every day - Very clean and comfortable , nice view over the fields Nothing
- Teresa (10/5): Exceptional - The location was excellent. It was quiet but close to the town and a great base to explore the surrounding area from. The breakfast was delicious and the hosts were very welcoming.
- Erika (10/5): Exceptional -
- Robert (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sandra (10/5): - The property was in immaculate condition and the hosts were very generous with the breakfast supplies. Would definitely stay again
- Budgie49 (10/5): Highly recommended - Lovely hosts.
Wonderful scones and cream on arrival.
Freshly baked croissants for breakfast.
Very comfortable bed.. Hypnos.
Plenty of hot water. Excellent shower and bath.
Nothing to fault.
Will return next year! All ok 👍😊
- Rebecca (10/5): A very peaceful and relaxing stay at the luxurious loft. Thank you. - Everything about the loft is exceptional and it has a very luxurious feel. Tea, coffee machine, orange juice, milk, yogurt, cereal, bread and fresh continental breakfast every morning fantastic! You also have two amazing views, the sea from the window and fields from the balcony where it was lovely to watch the foxes and rabbits each evening. The walk to the beach was quick and easy. We would definitely stay again. The only negative was the tower fan did not work properly as apartment gets quite hot.
- Simona (10/5): Highly recommend this place, you won’t regret it. - Lovely place, very modern looking and looks exactly like in the photos. Well kept and tidy. Bathroom was lovely and the beds were comfy to sleep in. The host was amazing, she brought us refreshments every day, especially fresh croissants. Lovely little outside patio to relax. Our trip was initially a one day stay but upon seeing the property we decided to extend our stay another day. The drive into the property is a little tight for cars that are bigger than your average etc Toyota aygo, but we was still able to squeeze our jeep through.
- Simona (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jeremy (8/5): - Host was very nice and helpful and we enjoyed the breakfast food, but one thing that would really be better is if curtains or blinds were installed over the large windows in the main room as it did lack some privacy.
- Nick (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely ground floor apartment only 5 minutes walk from Marazion. Private Garden and parking available. The host delivered fresh croissants and scones (with clotted cream and jam) so no need to worry about breakfast. Will definitely return to this property in the future. Nothing
- Kathryn (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jon (10/5): Absolutely magnificent - Stunning property, very well furnished and decorated. Immaculately clean. Parking right outside and such great views from the window and balcony (we rented the upstairs loft) which is wonderful for morning coffee and/or an evening glass of wine ! Amazing food provided for breakfast that was such a delightful touch. Highly recommended.
- Neil (8/5): Very good -
- Peter (10/5): Exceptional - Tasteful interior design, comfortable beds, very well-kept property, very courteously hosts, delicious breakfast, central and quite location. We would highly recommend this holiday apartment. Nothing, everything was perfect
- Attila (10/5): Exceptional - We ( me and my wife) had a wonderful two-night stay at The Loft, and we can’t recommend it highly enough. From the moment we arrived, our host Erika and her family made us feel incredibly welcome. Their warmth, friendliness, and genuine care ensured our stay was as enjoyable as it could possibly be.
The apartment was immaculate; spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and thoughtfully designed down to the finest detail. The stylish decor added a lovely charm, and everything was arranged with both comfort and functionality in mind.
The bed and sofa were exceptionally comfortable, and the high-quality bedding and towels added an extra touch of luxury.
The location is also a real bonus, perfectly situated for discovering the beauty of West Cornwall, with easy access to many local highlights. Having a private parking space was another great convenience that made our stay even more relaxing.
If you’re looking for a place that offers both comfort and quality, The Loft is an excellent choice. A heartfelt thank you to Erika and her family for making our stay so memorable—we truly felt at home.

- Martine (9/5): Very peaceful location with parking. - Breakfast items of croissants, jam, milk, bread etc topped up daily if wanted. Lovely fresh scones with jam & cream on arrival!

- Maddy (10/5): We fully enjoyed our stay and it was well needed. - The view was amazing and it was all well put together and comfortable. The only thing was the low ceilings but it wasn’t a big problem.
- Lindsay (10/5): Perfection and can’t wait to go back. - Incredible from arrival to departure. The attention to detail was exceptional. From the warm fluffy towels on the towel rail to the mountain of pillows to collapse on at the end of a long day. The breakfast and afternoon tea offerings are better than you’d get in any hotel.
