The hotel staff were very friendly, greeted me and showed me to my room, and even walked me up the street to show me an interesting community event going on. The decor of the hotel and rooms is so cute, in a traditional Portuguese style. My room was very spacious and bright, with wall to wall windows and a balcony. The shower was amazing! I really appreciated the laundry facilities upstairs, and the full kitchen. The location is ideal, right in the middle of the historic center and walkable to everything. I will definitely stay here again! No negatives for me, this hotel is perfect!

Deborah (10/5): Loved having the convenience of an apartment during my Camino. - Conveniently located just off the Camino but in the middle of everything. I arrived early and was able to get in immediately. I thought the washing machine would be in unit, it wasn’t, but it was on the same floor next to the kitchen in a shared space. Luckily, I was the only one that used it while there so not a problem. Just be aware you’re experience could be different during busy season. I was able to take a drying rack to the unit. I opened the windows and let my clothes dry while I explored.

Es gibt eine sehr saubere Küche für die Gäste und auch die Waschmaschine kann kostenfrei genutzt werden. Zwei sehr nette Schwestern sind die Besitzerinnen. Lediglich die Matratze fand ich etwas hart/fest aber das ist vielleicht Geschmacksache.

Christina was very helpful - she did our laundry, had an umbrella for our use, and helped my husband try to resolve a credit card issue. We loved our 2 night stay here and highly recommend!

Carina (10/5): Beautiful apartment - clean and comfortable - We booked a double room and were pleased to be upgraded to a 2 bedroom apartment which was well designed, clean and comfortable. It even had its own kitchen to make an early breakfast before heading back on the Camino. Excellent location in the centre of Ponte de Lima, the apartment overlooked a quiet street with a lovely ‘traditional’ supermarket selling a wide variety of provisions.

Adam (10/5): A lovely rest stop in the middle of town! - A fantastic stay right on the Camino route. The host (who also runs the Camino shop) was fantastic. Fantastically located in the middle of town and close to the Camino route. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Washing facilities were free and much appreciated! Great for pilgrims engaging with luggage transfers. None at all!

Paula (10/5): Fantastic stay in Ponte de Lima - This was a gem of a place right in the heart of old town. Christina, our host, was lovely. She spoke fluent English and Portuguese, as well as some Spanish, French and Dutch. The hotel has a kitchen guests can use and also a washing machine with drying racks inside a sunroom at the back of the property. Absolutely perfect on the Camino and saved us a long walk to the laundromat. The room was huge and bed was super comfortable. Everything was spotlessly clean. Can’t say enough good things about this place!!!
