- Helen (8/5): Very good - Spotlessly clean. Close to Beach, restaurants, 7/11 & fishermans' village. Staff helpful & kind. Care needed crossing the busy road to beach at weekends. Wonderfully quiet during weekdays.

There are not many tourists and the loc - The staff cleaned every day and was kind No information about what to do in neighbourhood how to reach Koh Samed, no bycicles to disposal. 8 km to the nearest village only one lady spoke english so without car no connection except of taxi.

- Arlus (3/5): Lack of organization in forgotten place! - The sea is opposite the complex. Natural ambiance and tranquil is to be noticed. Organized as separate houses is a good approach for the comfort. The house initially allocated had a broken air-conditioning unit (not cooling). We were moved to another house that had other issues, like some holes in the door glass! The staff filled those in! However the place looked itself as let down. The whole house requires full refurbishment from the paint to replacing the aircon units. The mattress was not firm and had an uneven surface. We didn't had a table and chairs in front of the house and when asking for it we got initially a reply that these are not available for our type of house!!! After extra communication and showing that on the application there is no difference between the houses available, we got a table and two chairs! Worth mentioning that the towels are like chewed by some dogs... really old and overused generating a bad smell instantly. Overall seems that the staff there has multiple tasks... when we checked in the clerk was previously broomig. Other staff were doing random things during our stay also. Still they were helpful as much as they could with such an unorganized resort.

- Jenna (5/5): Passable - Very quiet, close to the beach. Big gaps under doors allowing ants to come inside. Furniture were scratched, very worn and not in great condition. No furniture on the terasse, even though many bungalows that were empty had them and it said that our bungalow would, too. Fridge smelled strongly of durian. Air condition blew directly on bed, making it very uncomfortable at night time. Reception was often empty, quite difficult to get in touch with staff to get refill on toilet paper or cleaning of room.

- Otto (10/5): Exceptional - Das Resort liegt direkt am strand, man muß nur die wenig befahrene Straße überqueren. Ich empfehle fie etwas größeren Zimmer, speziell wenn man mit Kindern unterwegs ist. Es gibt keinen Schrank im Zimmer und der Kühlschrank ist sehr klein. Man bringt nicht einmal eine Paket Eiswürfel im Gefrierbereich unter.

- Michelle (10/5): Hidden gem for the adventurer, highly recommended - Our experience was outstanding at Banyan Resort. The team is extremely friendly and eager to help. There are tons of places to eat and free bikes are available to get around. Our room was clean, private and comfortable. Just what we needed for our kind of trip which is generally away from the room and out in the wild. :)

- Julian (10/5): Perfect ! - Very good service staff, nice accommodation, small houses very close to the beach. Quiet beach, few people. Many small restaurants to eat, and a big 7eleven 2min walk. Everything was perfect.
- Marco (10/5): Überraschend gut! - Auch wenn ich zunächst an der Anlage vorbei fuhr – nachdem ich sie gefunden hatte wurde ich herzlich und in bestem Englisch begrüßt. Nach dem Check-in wurde mir mein Bungalow gezeigt und alle Fragen beantwortet. Der Raum ist groß und lässt wenig zu wünschen übrig – allerdings fehlt ein Arbeitsplatz, um am Rechner zu sitzen. Das kann man aber auf dem Terrassentisch – wenn einem die Hitze nichts ausmacht. In der unmittelbaren Umgebung befindet sich ein 7-Eleven sowie zahlreiche Stände am Strand, bei denen man essen und kühle Getränke genießen kann. Mein Favorit war „Papachang“ leicht links, wenn man vom Ressort aus die Straße kreuzt.

- Verified traveler (8/5): ที่พักสะอาด นอนสบาย เงียบสงบเป็นส่วนตัว - ที่พักโดยรวมดูสวยงามร่มรื่นเป็นสัดส่วนดีค่ะ แต่โซนด้านหลังที่ติดกับพื้นที่รกร้างเป็นไปได้อยากให้ทางรีสอร์ทปลูกต้นไม้พวกไทรเกาหลีหรือต้นไผ่เป็นแนวยาวเพื่อบดบังสายตาและเพื่อความรู้สึกปลอดภัยอุ่นใจของแขกผู้เข้าพักค่ะ และห้องน้ำหากเป็นไปได้อยากแนะนำให้ทางรีสอร์ทติดพัดลมดูดอากาศด้วยค่ะ เนื่องจากมันอึดอัดมากอากาศไม่ถ่ายเทเลย บวกกับกลิ่นที่ย้อนขึ้นมา คือกลิ่นค่อนข้างแรงมากค่ะ แล้วยิ่งไม่มีพัดลมดูดอากาศอีก ค่อนข้างรู้สึกไม่ค่อยโอเคในส่วนนี้ ถ้าปรับปรุงตรงนี้ได้คือเพอเฟคละค่ะ เพราะไลท์ติ้งดีมาก เตียงก้อนอนสบายมากๆ มีปลั้กไฟตรงหัวเตียงทั้งสองข้างอันนี้ชอบมากค่ะ การตกแต่งพื้นที่ใช้สอยรวมถึงพื้นที่ในห้องน้ำแบ่งโซนเปียกแห้งได้ดีค่ะ และห้องพักสะอาดมากๆ

- Rick (10/5): - Very clean and comfortable. Feels like a new bungalow. Great water pressure. Comfortable Thai style bed. No breakfast available at the resort. Food is available from Thai carts and small seaside restaurants. 7-11 is a short walk away. Across the street is a long stretch or tree lined beach. The beach like many in Thailand has quite a bit of litter but the locals try to clean it up. You will need some sort of transportation if you’re planning to go to town. Traffic is light most of the time. BanPhe is a cool little town. We rented a scooter from a local guy and had a great time.
