• Cathrine (7/5): Take ear plugs and it's an enjoyable stay - Central location, freshly painted room, very clean although building is old and tired. All staff were lovely, very helpful and kind with our limited Spanish language. Bed comfortable. Very noisy as windows are only single glazed so much noise from the main road nearby and general outside noise. Noisy inside too from the bar, coffee machine and other residents up and down the stairs. Didn't like the single thick pillow on the double bed, as too high and is shared.

• Mathias (8/5): - Nice place in Oliva, the staff is very welcoming, for a solo traveller it's a good place to stay if you plan on visiting the region. Food solutions are available nearby by foot and you're at 10mn drive from the sea and nice restaurants. Parking is a nightmare in Oliva like most spanish cities I've visited so far. Free parking solutions are available in the neighborhood but still, it's not pleasant. Regarding the hotel itself, it doesn't have elevators. I didn't mind but some travelers might find it annoying.

• Istharcoach (8/5): - Atención excelente y trato fenomenal, todo facilidades. La cama era muy cómoda y estaba todo limpio. La habitación no olía demasiado bien pero es que aunque pongan en letreros grandes está prohibido fumar, la gente es muy irrespetuosa. No es culpa del hotel.

Lo que sí que al final me sorprendió la cama era muy cómoda, porque a simple vista parecía pequeña para lo que nos tienen acostumbrados en los hoteles pero yo no sé si por cansancio o qué , pero dormí muy bien. Parecía limpio... pues tampoco fui a revisar a fondo. Para descansar por bien por trabajo o que vas de paso está bien, pues nosotros lo hicimos. Para unas vacaciones o luna de miel pues no lo veo. Pues no tiene ascensor, ni aparcamiento es una zona un poco complicada para aparcar. Mas que un hotel para yo le daba categoría pension Las estancias muy viejas , Le falta modernizarse un poco.

Pero no puedo poner 5 estrellas porque el ruido de la recepción/zona de desayunos se oye demasiado y a horas completamente indecentes. Uno de los días una familia se puso a desayunar, gritando, a las 07:30.

Staff were helpful and communication was quick. Overall for the price it was very good value. Central location. A couple in the room above us arrived back at 3.00am and made a lot of noise from reception up to their room. They also felt the need to have a shower at 5.00 am……….This was clearly out of the control of the hotel but may be a sign put out at 11.00 pm telling guests to respect other guests would be a good idea.
