Gai (3/5): First and last time there , l know it was cheap but never again. - Nothing The driveways , great big holes trying to get in. The cobwebs everywhere and the people that that are there all the time sit outside talking late at night.

Mcpherson (1/5): Misleading Advertising - I didn't like anything at all When I phoned reception on my arrival to the motel because it was closed, I was was spoken to very rudely by the man on the other end. I told him that I had paid for the room the previous day, he said he hadn't received payment (I checked my bank account, the amount was still pending). My main complaint about the so called "motel" is that it is not actually that. It is short/long term accommodation for homeless people. On the website, it is advertised as a motel, and the reason I made a booking there, is because it was the only budget motel available in Albury on such short notice. The outside of the place was run down and trashy, which is not how it appeared in photos on line. It was falsely advertised, so people beware of making a booking at that trashy looking, dumping ground for the homeless.

Lauren (8/5): Owner was lovely, comfortable room, easy checkout - Owner was lovely and very helpful. The room was comfortable and roomy with a good little kitchenette, updated split system that heated the room really well, a big wall mounted TV and a lounge that was great for our bags. The bathroom was dated but everything worked fine and the hot water was great. The bed and linens were clean and comfortable. The location was close to town and the room was secure with a digital lock that automatically locked the door after a few seconds. Check in and check out were easy and stress free- thank you for a great stay! We had traveled for a funeral so appreciated the hospitality, especially the early check in which let us rest after our long drive over. Overall the cleanliness was good but the glasses and cutlery hadn’t been washed. We weren’t able to use the wifi as there was no information in the room and the manager had finished for the day when we realised we needed the network details.

A nice motel, a bit on the rustic side, but charming and cosy. - Very good value for money, nice quiet location on the old highway and close (driving distance) to Springdale Heights shopping centre (IGA supermarket, take-away outlets and a pub). I've stayed there before and probably will again, although it may be a bit "rustic" for some people's taste, but it's perfect for me. Nothing really, I've stayed there before and probably will again. It is a rather old motel which won't be to everyone's taste, although the appliances and furniture are new or newish. The bathrooms (in room 5, at least) are a bit on the old side, again this won't be to everyone's liking, but I quite like them, they do their job.

Requires maintenance - shower knob fell off when I was showering. Difficult to access the toilet due to hand basin being in the way. Access to the room was difficult, safe was not working properly.

Korina (1/5): I did not stay, it was so bad I left without knowing where I was going to sleep that night. - Everything should have been better, the room was dirty, it smelled bad, the blinds did not close all the way, utensils in a dirty container, employee yelling at person in room next to me and I felt very unsafe, I was in the room for a total of 30 minutes and left, I found accommodation elsewhere.

Jessica (1/5): - There was a car with smashed windows outside our room, no light or fresh air in the rooms, and very outdated and in . need of some TLC and maintenance. It was so bad that we had a quick shower and decided to drive on rather than stay because the kids were scared.
David (10/5): Best value you'll find - This is our go-to stop every time we pass through Albury. Sure it is old and weathered in places, but the rooms have always been clean (at least in the areas people actually use), the aircon works and the check-in/check-out process smooth (as it is all by text) Too be picky, the pool is not always the cleanest and I wouldn't be using the onsite BBQ.
David (3/5): Wouldn’t book again. Way too expensive for what it is. - Not much Too far off the highway. In the middle of nowhere. Light didn’t work in the bathroom. Curtain was falling down. A lot of noise from other units which looked like permanent stays. Room was cramped and bed wasn’t comfortable at all. Place looks like it’s under renovation so might improve.

John (5/5): good stay for the price these days as an overnighter. - the unit was at the front and even though it was at the front with some road noise it was still ok, the bed wa actually quite good and the latex pillow excellent as I prefer those. for some reason there were a few large ants and insects in the unit which didn't really bother me but is not a good look. Also, there were soap dispensers with no soap but to be fair some soap cakes and shampoos were available. The sink in the bathroom was ...well what can I say not in its best dress ! it looked like it had better days and seemed to have some ( possibly) cigarette burns in it ??

I’m frightened of men - continued banging on door. Was frightened. I was treated tersely as if I was a problem when I was a paying customer of $1.5K approximately. Have retained $150 for a lost key card which is not standard hotel practice to be charged at all for, or this amount for. Will be making complaint to Fair Trading. I have a serious illness and I was unable to rest due to the neighbours. Was charged $50 a night for dog in an emergency housing situation. I paid $220 a night for accommodation which is very bad value for money especially given all the circumstances. I have since been staying in lovely clean, quiet accomodation for $94 a night with my dog. Cockroaches in room. Neighbours on one side swearing a lot at kids. Was very distressing. Traumatising stay. Cried a lot.

Angelique (1/5): - The bed linen looked like it had been changed. There were fresh towels. The room had not been cleaned, It stunk of vomit. The walls had splash marks of fluid over them. Some of these were going moldy. Even the blund was in the same situation. There was no windscreen on the window. The couch was dirty. The fridge was filthy. The carpet had fluid stains. The cup was chipped, the kinves, forks and bowls were all piled over in a mess.

Skirting all dusty like it hadn’t been wiped in weeks/months. Bed was on an angle so I kept moving to the left…! People in nearby rooms drunk and loud swearing on verandah till late. Needs some maintenance here…

Spencer-rose (1/5): DO NOT STAY HERE NO MATTER WHAT!!! - Nothing. Not a single thing. Nothing!!!! How about the bugs on the furniture, the visible door code on the unused lock box next to the actual door lock, or maybe the stink of cigarettes the moment you step in, or maybe the sketchy people sitting right outside next to my door… could be any one of these. I only spent twenty minutes there and then left to book a place much nicer for only a little price difference. Pretty sure if I spent the night I would’ve been murdered.
B5646BRpeterr (2/5): Do not stay at this motel - I have stayed in many budget motels, this has to be the dirtiest room I have ever been in. The bed had clean sheets at least. However, the rest of the room was dirty, the carpet was stained and by the looks of it had never been cleaned along with the fridge and the rest of the room. When I turned the tap on in the bathroom the water was brown. I could continue. The booking site said it was in Albury, it is Lavington. We decided not to stay and went to another motel. We were told that three other people had come from there. Do not stay at this motel it is used for crisis accommodation.

We felt so unsafe we actually did not stay the night and found somewhere else that was clean and where we felt safe. Remove this motel from your booking sites.
