Lage einerseits top direkt am Tafelberg, sogar mit einer Hintertür direkt in den Nationalpark. Andererseits hinsichtlich Supermarkt oder Restaurants etwas abgelegen, da hilft nur nur das gut verfügbare und günstige Uber Netz!

• Michelle (6/5): Adequate for our purpose - the Panorama Guest house was spot on Position wise as we wanted the Forest walk to Kisrtenbosh Gardens.. the forest walk was lovely and the gardens were amazing.. the GH was a tiny bit Tired but the Staff were amazing.. Little bit to far out of town for trips into town but was Ideal for us..Like i mentioned.. Little bit tired over all but the staff made up for it, Oh and the Puppy door was so cute.

• Toni (5/5): Has potential, but requires some attention to detail - The location of the guesthouse is spectacular! A beautiful, panoramic view over the city bowl and direct access from the property to the hiking trails behind the home. The staff very kindly moved us to another, cooler room, on request. With us being in the hospitality industry ourselves, we always prefer constructive critisicm, instead of an unrealistic bad review. Unfortunately, while the property has a wonderful location, the house is in dire need of renovation. Also, please be careful when booking as some of the rooms do not have their own bathrooms! A few things which we felt could have been done better:- Our room was not serviced The rooms are not air-conditioned The shared bathroom was not serviced and left filthy The coffee station in the room lacked any teaspoons to stir coffee There was no water in the room to fill the kettle to make coffee While we love animals, there is a very boisterous dog on site, which did not bother us but, not everyone is an animal lover

T - It was in the preferred neighborhood The steep uphill while carrying your luggage was not appreciated. We were warned about the steep incline but it did seemed worse in reality
• Albert (8/5): Als je er een keer bent en gewend bent aan de steile opgang en de trappen dan is het goed te doen. - Ontbijt was uitstekend en goed verzorgd Het is een steile klim om bij de accommodatie te komen. Zeker als je wat ouder bent is dat best lastig en met een koffer is het zelfs uitdagend. Het is jammer dat de accommodatie geen voorzieningen heeft als een lift of iets dergelijks. Ook de weg er naar toe is behoorlijk stijl en je moet dus een redelijke chauffeur zijn om de accommodatie per auto te bereiken. De parkeerplaatsen zijn aan de weg die ook erg stijl is, dus een goed handrem is zeker een must!

• Guest (1/5): Horrible - We had to skip our breakfast because the place was very untidy. The house was very dirty, there was dust everywhere. The pool was dirty, everything in that house is just dirty. Also they have a dog,that just kept chasing us around,they need to respect and understand that not all their guests love dogs. We had to book another accommodation after the experience we had with the dog and the untidy place, so we did not sleep there,nor eat their breakfast.

• Funki (8/5): - Das Personal mega. Super cooler Typ der Leiter des Hotels. Top Service, man hat uns sogar früh einchecken lassen, da wir einen Nachtflug hatten. So etwas erlebt man nicht alle Tage. Frühstück klein aber sehr fein und Lecker. Toller Ausblick auf Kapstadt.

Misschien 50 jaar geleden modern en luxe, nu ouderwets en sommige dingen niet goed onderhouden. Gastheer was wel behulpzaam , maar niet erg vriendelijk. Parkeerplekken erg slecht ( gevaarlijk bijna)

• Marek (10/5): Beautiful accommodation with stunning views from the summer and winter terraces with a swimming pool - Beautiful and peaceful accommodation with stunning views of the eastern part of Cape Town in the safe neighborhood of Newlands at the eastern foot of Table Mountain. Right behind the guesthouse is the entrance to the forest below Table Mountain, which leads to the fantastic Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens. The forest has trails that are perfect for running or walking your dog. A beautiful area. The guesthouse is located in a residential neighborhood, which means it is a little further from restaurants, but there is an excellent one with a fireplace about 1.5 km from the guesthouse (a three-minute drive).

When booking it listed airport shuttle as a service but there was no airport shuttle service ☹️ I don’t know if that is a mistake by booking.com or guesthouse… Breakfast was okay but very plain.

There is no parking on the inside of the property. However, the area seems safe and I felt comfortable leaving my car in the designated parking space in front of the property.
