• James (10/5): - Our stay exceeded expectations. From the start, and throughout our stay, our hosts were always extremely helpful and friendly. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast was a wonderful start to each day. This was our first visit, but will not be our last. We highly recommend Trefoil Guest House as a great base from which to explore South Devon. Nothing to dislike.

• MrYupp (10/5): Rejuvenating relaxation. - The room (4) was a good size, the bed was comfy, the shower was great and there was plenty of coffee. To cap it off Dave and Sue are lovely hosts. The Trefoil is quite close to all amenities and is a good starting location for any number of hill and coastal walks. I would definitely recommend. It's a pity I was only there for a couple of days as I would have liked to have stayed longer.

• Claire (10/5): Nowhere better to stay in Brixham! - A very warm welcome from Dave and Susan, and Bodie the dog! Our room was cosy and we had everything to make it a comfortable stay. The information pack in our room was very detailed and up-to-date with helpful suggestions for activities and restaurants. Breakfast was absolutely delicious - extensive choices, perfectly cooked to order and beautifully presented. We loved our 2-night stay at the Trefoil - such a shame we couldn't stay longer!

Possibly the 10 minute walk to Brixham harbour but we were able to walk off our hearty breakfast!

• Jeni (6/5): Very clean but very hot - Warm welcome from Dave, room and en suite was immaculately clean and comfortable. Booked a twin room for myself and daughter. Susan was knowledgeable about day trips and suggested various visits. Very handy for Brixham town, a pleasant 10 minute walk, though the road isn’t “on the flat” as we were told - it’s downhill to town and uphill on the way back. We didn’t book breakfast as daughter and I prefer to grab something to eat whilst out and about so can’t comment on food. Tea and coffee provided in room plus shower gel and shampoo in the shower. Very hot and windows only opened a tiny crack. Maybe offer a fan when it’s very hot. Needed assistance from David during our stay as bass music coming through the wall from a neighbouring guest. Despite knocking and calling hello loudly, I couldn’t be heard - maybe a bell in the hall to ring for attention? David asked me to move my car twice, once upon arrival (literally 2 inches to the right) then a foot back the next day so he could water the plants. I ended up parking on the road out of the way. The Alexa in our room woke us at 7.30 am each day during our stay telling us to ask her about the weather.

Hospitality off the scale. It’s very clear that it’s a labour of love for the hosts, nothing was too much trouble. My single room felt Luxurious and calm.

The property is immaculately clean and well presented throughout. The room was beautiful and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfasts are extremely generous and well cooked with a good choice. • David (10/5): Friendly and Value For Money Accommodation in Brixham, Devon - Trefoil Guest House was conveniently located near to my relatives and the centre of Brixham Harbour. Both Dave and Sue, who run the Guest House, were friendly and helpful throughout my 2-night stay in Brixham and I would recommend staying with them if you are looking for value for money short stay accommodation.
