• Ludovica (6/5): A parte qualche disagio, tutto sommato l’esperienza è stata piacevole soprattutto grazie alla ottima posizione della str - L’appartamento era moderno e abbastanza pulito, la posizione è ottima, a due passi da Piazza San Marco. Alcuni lavori di manutenzione sarebbero necessari: lo scarico di una doccia era intasato, la pressione dell’acqua era molto debole e l’acqua calda durava poco. Tutto ciò rappresenta un disagio soprattutto per 8 persone che condividono due bagni. Dovrebbero essere sistemate anche le scale del palazzo, soprattutto un gradino del tutto rotto che può essere pericoloso! Inoltre, nell’annuncio andrebbe specificato che le stanze che vengono mostrate nelle foto appartengono a due appartamenti diversi, uno al secondo piano e uno al terzo. Prima della prenotazione non ci è stato comunicato quale ci sarebbe stato assegnato e la relativa struttura.

• Tugrul (3/5): Preis zu viel für dieses Objekt, dreckig und in die Jahre gekommen. - War Zentrale Lage das wär’s aber auch Sehr dreckig, Steckdosen teilweise ohne Funktion, mansche Steckdosen lagen einfach so im Schacht, Eingangsbereich so schlimm, Möbel sehr stark in die Jahre gekommen, Stühle alle kaputt etc…. • Obrien (1/5): We brought our friends with us on vacation and it was humiliating to bring them to this rental - It was located in a convienient location. The common area was used as a garbage area and the doors were often left open so vermin could get in. The apartments were dirty. There were electrical outlets with exposed wires. THE BEDDING WAS DIRTY. The apartments were under supplied with starter items. Furniture items showing in the photos were missing. One apartment had a broken glass pane. Incredibly dangerous if you are not aware. Numerous lights did not work. Remotes had no batteries except for one in each spartment. Door lock in one apartment was not functioning properly There were so many things going on it is pointless to go on. Dead bugs fell out of the heat pumps. Stove in top apartment did not work. There was no response on many items from our contact and the timing of the response for the one thing he was willing to deal with was inconvienent for our stay. THIS IS NOT A SERIOUS RENTAL—STAY AWAY

• Mikeyquadri (2/5): Not chic, just shabby - I took a group of nine people here in October 2024 and paid over 10500 Euros for rental of both apartments in the block. I've travelled to Venice 15 times previously, so I'm used to the shabby chic of Venetian apartments... This apartment was much worse than any I've encountered. The following list of issues were all raised with the apartment manager during our trip. His responses were quick and pleasant but not effective. The shower in the lower apartment - hose was badly broken and not attached to the wall, with the shower head missing. (5 people had to share one shower throughout our stay). Seven ceiling light bulbs blown in lower apartment, with an additional two standard lamps broken. (Apartment was dingy and underlit) Leak under sink in lower apartment. (Smelly, dirty water puddle in undersink cupboard on arrival). Filthy, stinking dishwasher on arrival in lower apartment (Subsequently cleaned) All dining chairs unsightly and very badly worn. No usable wine glasses in ether apartment - one dangerously broken (and dirty) wine glass in kitchen cupboard of lower apartment. (Wine glasses subsequently delivered). Upper apartment light fittings hanging loose with electrical wires in a very dangerous, exposed condition. . Enormous, unsightly leaks in upper apartment toilet and bedroom. Fungal growth evident. (Two of our group suffer badly from asthma, which was aggravated during our stay). Light bulbs in upper apartment toilet not working. No mention in description of the 66 steep stairs to the upper apartment, which caused the older less mobile members of our group considerable problems. Also, no mention that the communal door and corridor are used from early morning till late night by the local shops and cafes for sorting and storing their rubbish. Bearing in mind the considerable expense of the apartments, our group expected much better and are very disappointed with the standard of accommodation.

• Rachel (7/5): Good - The location was absolutely excellent, a very easy short walk from San Marco Plaza with plenty of room for our group of 7. The sheets were clean but duvets had no duvet covers and they looked pretty grubby which brought down the overall vibe. Lots of towels provided but all hand towel size which don't wrap around you which makes showering a bit of a struggle -bath towels would be nice. 1/4 a roll of toilet paper provided which meant we ran out shortly after arrival. Small points, easily rectified with a little more attention to detail

• Elena (6/5): Great location but bad organization of the host - Very good location, near San Marco square. A lot of restaurants around and also a lot of stores near by. Many stairs (3,5 floors), the door was not very secured, the bedsheets were old and not very clean. When we arrived the access keys were not available for 2 hours and we had to stay in the street with all our luggage. The host didn’t knew to tell us when they will bring the key. The apartment doesn’t look like in the photos.

Also the restaurant at the street level left the door always open because they have a storage room there. One time someone came up because there is no security in the building

• Rescelle (4/5): It couldve been better! - Property is like less than 5mins walking distance on water taxis/transportation and closer to restaurants and to san marco. It's clean and theres water heater for shower. The flight of stairs its horrible and its too small. My family struggled going up bringging all our luggages. The floor we stayed was all the way to the 4rth floor and I thought its at the 3rd floor. We had to pay someone to bring all our luggages when we left. Its hard to reach them when you need someone for help. The power shuts off twice because we're cooking, AC is ON and etc. Thank goodness our check-out day was on Sunday or else we would need to throw all our garbages when we leave. The instructions for garbage separating is not clear. Its a bit pricey and its basically just a place to sleep if you only have a carry-on bags.

• Natasha (6/5): Great location, large rooms, air conditioning but needs more maintenance & cleaning. - Central location was great, as were the large bedrooms & use of a washing machine. Air conditioning was a life saver! The property was not clean; windows and window sills were filthy, the floor (especially under the beds) had not been cleaned. There were NO mattress or pillow protectors which felt unhygienic. All of the wardrobes were full of old blankets & broken lamps etc. Air conditioning units didn’t all have controllers.

• Janice (8/5): Great location - The location of the apartment was excellent proximity to public transport, restaurants, and the Doge's Palace. We had plenty of space for our family of 6. Cleaning supplies weren't obviously placed, but once we found them, it was good.
• Loxic (6/5): Pleasant - Photos and descriptions are "almost" true: location is great -just 2 min away from Piazza St Marcos (city key center) and 2 min from Zaccaria water bus station. It is comfortable despite some "details" and it's decoration takes you some centuries back in time. I was disappointed because of the small details, all of them minor ones, yet makes the experience not as good as it could be. Pictures are a bit misleading, e.g.: - living room chairs deserve to be changed: one is broken and the others need urgently a new cover. - iron machine is useless: it actually spoiled one of my Armani T-shirts, so I wonder who will pay for it. - bathroom switch for focus lights is broken, so light's are useless.
• Samy (10/5): Location, view, comfort - just great! - Perfect location, super central, such a nice view from the windows -- very comfortable beds, high ceilings, AC excellent... all in all just a very pleasant stay. Very minor thing -- it's a lot of stairs to get up, but that's ok, one gets a view for compensation! :-) Mosquitos, but that's Venice.
• George (3/5): Good location, everything else poor. - The location was excellent! The property was in-keeping with Venice, very authentic however the furnishings were past their sell by date to say the least. The sofa in the living room was terrible and the plastic on the dining chairs is peeling off and two of them are broken. The beds are either too soft or too hard. Some basic utensils and crockery are either broken or missing. How can you have an 8 person apartment with 6 mugs? But worst of all we didn’t have hot water throughout the whole stay. We couldn’t have a warm shower or wash the dishes with hot water. The staff who responded to my messages were helpful but the plumber they sent in twice couldn’t fix the issue - it was a nightmare! DO NOT STAY HERE.

• Anonymous (8/5): Wonderful location and excellent accommodation for larger family. - Excellent location and the apartment is large, easily accommodating our family of five in Venice. Power supply is unstable. We tripped the breaker multiple times until we figured out that the A/C and the washer cannot be on at the same time. Also, water pressure is very low, only allowing for one shower to run at a time. This is was a hassle for us as we understand this is an old building.

• Anne (9/5): Good value for money and directly in the centre - Location was great! Price for value was good. I booked a few months in advance which probably helped with the price. No hotel can beat this place! The only thing is the apartment was a little noisy and one of the bathrooms was not directly in the apartment. It was not a big issue for us, but good to know. This apartment is on the 3rd floor so you need to walk the stairs with the suitcases, also not a big issue for us but good to know when booking!

All great, just strange that in the price you pay for cleaning, like everywhere else in the world, but you have to take the rubbish out at the check-out: this has never happened to me in my life, and I travel a lot all year round. It´s always the cleaner who takes the rubbish away.....but not here.

There were an abundance of restaurant options within a short walking distance. The rooms were good size and beds were all comfortable. Bathrooms were clean and big. The only downside is the lack of elevator. Having any luggage can be difficult.
• Jayne (6/5): Authentic spacious clean apartment, needing TLC. Only one sofa. Location fantastic - The apartment is in a fantastic location. The rooms were spacious and the property was clean and warm. There were plenty of glasses and cups etc in the kitchen and the general building/apartment was lovely and authentic. There were lots of broken things. There was only one sofa but the images showed two which is misleading. This meant three people had to sit on the chairs at the table and a few were broken. After walking in the cold all day it was a bit uncomfortable. The twin room was freezing. The heating was on but for some weird reason the twin room was still very cold which meant the two people sleeping in there had to keep using the sofa bed on alternate nights, this was really disappointing because I booked this apartment specifically for the twin room as the room was for an adult mother and daughter, who couldn`t share a bed.

• Barbara (2/5): Wouldnt recommended - The pictures certainly were not the same as the accomodation. The access to accomodation was very dangerous not for families, anyone with suitcase or elderly.The front entrance was broken steps, very steep, and very dirty.
• Richard (8/5): We were very pleased with our stay in this apartment in Venice. - Excellent location; four good sized bedrooms and comfortable beds, plenty of cutlery and plates etc for 8 people. Staff at the office, at Faville Tours who manage the apartment, were excellent - everything done when they said it would be done and very helpful with enquiries. It would benefit by having one or two more easy chairs.

The apartment was clean The apartment only had one sofa not the two showing in the picture . Not good for our party of four . The stairs to the apartment are very steep and one of the steps is broken with a part missing that could be dangerous. The view from the living room is on to a very run down courtyard and the entrance to the apartments is also the same
