Guest Reviews
- Marilyn (9/5): Could not have found a better apartment right in the historic centre. - No breakfast included. Self catering facilities with coffee and tea provided. Lots of local information provided. Excellent location. Lovely host who was very efficient and made sure we were happy with everything. Found plastic sachets a bit difficult to open in the shower, especially for those needing spectacles to see how to open them. A push top refillable dispenser would be easier, and probably more economical friendly.

- susan (8/5): Katrina was great host and property in central location - Location No lift to upper floor
- Christopher (9/5): Great location, nice and clean and spacious apartment, super host - Caterina was super helpful and gave us a detailed run through of the property. Property was in a great location with easy walking access to all major sites and amazing trattoria downstairs. Apartment was nice and spacious and very clean. Will stay again. Nothing.
- Maurizio (10/5): Un rilassante soggiorno enogastronomico culturale! - tutto , il luogo in primis. nulla
- HIDEO (10/5): -
- Rachel (9/5): -
- Dennis (8/5): - Zimmer leider sehr hellhörig, normale Fernsehlautstärke und Unterhaltung waren für die Nachbarn schon störend...
- LYNNETTE (10/5): Overall great experience and we loved our time in Arezzo! -
- Adam (10/5): Exceptional - The location was great. Excellent communication with host. Spacious for our family of 5
- Sabrina (10/5): A lovely week in Arezzo - The Apartment was absolutely LOVELY! The bedroom roomy with extra comfy beds, and the sofa bed in the living room/kitchen was large and comfortable too.
There was plenty of storage and the kitchen was organised, modern and with a lot of appliances/tools, while the general feel of the property is retrò/historic. The bathroom was perfect too. I loved everything! You just need to take into consideration that there is no lift in case you struggle with stairs.
- Concetta (8/5): The hostess Caterina was really attentive and has a handy pack with all the information you need for visiting and eating - Perfect location, has all you need if you’re travelling with a family. If you enjoy tradition decor and features this apartment has it all.
- Jane (10/5): Exceptional Apartment in the heart of Arezzo - This apartment is charming with a history that dates back to the 1500’s. It is also in a great location. The host Catarina is exceptional and knowledgeable. She really care’s about your comfort and makes sure that you enjoy your stay. The apartment is very clean and includes all the amenities you need. This is our 2nd stay at I Bei Ricordi and would come again.
- L (10/5): Great stay, lovely host, fantastic location. Thank you. - Traditional residential apartment in 400(?) year old building. Fabulously ancient beams! Location could not be better. Caterina was a delight. Waiting for up, friendly and helpful. Beds were comfortable. Apartment was spotlessly clean and fresh. New modern kitchen and bathroom. Good laundry facilities. Had a great stay. Lighting was a bit poor as seems to be typical here.
- Josephine (10/5): Caterina was fantastic she could not do enough for you l enjoyed my stay immensely - Very clean and well presented old world charm Not applicable
- Kym (10/5): Great accommodation. Very comfortable, air conditioned and close to everything. - Location was excellent. Close to major sights in the old town. Lots of restaurants close by, or places to buy ingredients to cook at the apartment. We were in town for the Festival of the Joust, and whilst we were unable to obtain tickets, the parade went right by our front door. The apartment is up a few flights of stairs (old building so no lift). Not a problem, just something to keep in mind if you have mobility issues.
- John (8/5): Very good - Caterina is a delight! She met me at the at the property and showed me all the details. The apartment is perfectly located and was perfect for my short visit. Grazie Caterina!
- Glenda (10/5): A wonderful stay - The family who own this apartment were so helpful and made our stay memorable. They are from Arezzo and shared their knowledge generously. The apartment is in a great location, very clean, in an ancient building and is all you need for a short stay. We stayed for three nights. Nothing
- Ty (9/5): Very comfortable apartment representing great value for money! - We booked the one bedroom apartment and it was perfect for our three day stay in Arezzo. The location was great; 15 min walk from train station and a very short stroll to the Grand Piazza for afternoon aperitivos. Caterina is an excellent host, ensuring effective contact before your stay and providing an efficient check-in. A compendium in the apartment, compiled by Caterina and containing plenty of useful information on local amenities, restaurants and sights is a nice touch
- Natalia (9/5): Superb -
- Julia (8/5): It is a very traditional, and very quIet apartment in an old house, right in the centre. Very good - The location of the flat was amazing and it was also very quiet indeed. It was right in the old centre, near all the sights, and was only 10 minutes walk from the station. The flat was roomy and very clean. It was simple and traditional rather than modernised and luxurious, but that is what we prefer. Catarina, our host was very efficient and extremely helpful and spoke brilliant English. It was a very good choice for us. The flat had everything one would require. If we had to suggest something - the furnishings could be slightly more 'cosy', with some softer lighting, and there could have been a few more cooking utensils. However, none of these things were off-putting for us.
- Mary (10/5): Exceptional -
- Pardini (8/5): Very good -
- Debra (10/5): If you want the authentic Italian charm mixed with comfort, then this is the perfect accomodation. Loved it. - Absolutely one of the best apartments we stayed in on our 5 week Italian trip. Spacious, authentic and comfortable. Fabulous hosts. Great amenities and an excellent location. We would absolutely stay here again. Caterina even provided a fabulous folder on the history of Arezzo, sites to see and restaurants to try. Nothing we didn’t like. Yes we had stairs to climb (like almost everywhere) but that didn’t detract from our love of this apartment.
- Andre (8/5): Great place in the inner city - Big rooms, apartment had all amenities. Since we decided late in the day to go, the hostess made a gray effort to meet us on time. We didn’t plan to visit Arezzo at all, but we can only recommend it!
As the cold season started, it was possible to also heat the apartment sufficiently. It’s in the middle of the city, so expect noise in the streets which is a common thing.
