Excellent decor, clever, artistic touches, great beds and pillows, a beautiful shower, nice thick, solid doors and triple glazed windows to keep the room quiet. Restaurant staff were genuine, thoughtful and accommodating. Check-in took about an hour. Not sure why there was only one heroic woman manning the desk and trying to provide a high-touch experience while all the guests stood in line and waited. We needed a special room. Our check-in person could not find the room on her computer. Her boss, who could do this, promised to look up where we could be placed, and then began doing other, clearly far more important things. She then disappeared for about 15 minutes. We only finally got checked in when we complained about the wait. I’m not sure if we were put to one side because my granddaughter was with us in her thrift store clothes or because our suitcases were old and beat up. I’d hate to think that was the case, but I’ve had better experiences checking into a Red Roof Inn. Parking is not free. Breakfast is not free. There is a mysterious drawer that looks refrigerated, but is not – so be careful putting anything in there. No microwave in the room, either, which is odd since you have to supply your own breakfast unless you want to pay for it.

• stephanienB2838OL (10/5): Feeling grateful - I originally planned to give this experience a 3–4 star rating, but that completely changed. This was my first time visiting Atlanta to see friends, and overall I was having an amazing time until things took a turn. Unfortunately, I was not properly informed by the hotel staff at Canopy by Hilton regarding parking rules, and there seemed to be negligence from certain valet staff. I woke up to find my rental car booted, which was extremely frustrating. To make matters worse, when I booked through Priceline, the parking cost wasn’t clearly disclosed. I only found out upon arrival that it was $55 per night. On top of that, I had to pay an additional $75 just to have the boot removed. Needless to say, I was very upset. However, when I returned to the hotel around 2 AM, everything changed. A valet staff member named Troy, who is also the Valet Manager, came outside to greet me. I explained everything that had happened, and he was incredibly attentive, understanding, and genuinely cared about resolving the issue. He went above and beyond to make things right immediately and ensured that my valet service was fully taken care of for the remainder of my stay. Troy is the reason I am giving this review a solid 5 stars. His customer service skills are exceptional, his professionalism is unmatched, and he truly stands by his word. I am extremely grateful for how he handled the situation and turned my experience around completely. Thank you again, Troy.

I'll definitely be returning - the cleanliness , tha generosity of the staff , the room lay out , the robes but mostly the view was amazing ! the restaurant ! we walked in and sat down for a good 15 minutes and no one ever came over to service us which caused us to leave and have to drive 22 minutes for food .

She was so kind and helpful. We saw her every day we were there and she always asked how we were and if we needed anything . In the restaurant we were greeted by Alexis. She also was so sweet and helpful. She knew the menu and offered suggestions. Joanne was another person we met in the resultant who served us. She too was so kind and professional . I don’t really know the Midtown area very well and we wanted to walk to Dillards but we’re unsure how to get there. Troy Sledge literally walked us outside and to the corner to show us where it was. We felt more secure and headed out to shop! He also was a consummate professional and equally as kind. All I all we had a great experience at the hotel and would definitely stay there again!!

It is such a joy for me to see Stacy behind the front desk because she always makes sure I’m taken care of. She already knows my name and preferences; same for my colleagues who stay with me. • Valerie (5/5): acceptable - The staff is very nice. I have stayed at your facility a couple of times because of the location to our Client. I can never get the TV to work. The first time a remote was missing, the second time I had to unplug the TV and plug it back in to connect (per the front desk when I called), this time there was "no signal". I give up. Not that I am there to watch TV but I do like to morning news when I am getting ready.

• monicastevens (2/5): Dont stay here - I went there and stayed for 1 night, upon arrival I noticed that there is no place to park so you must do valet. One night service for valet they charge 73.00 even though they clearly have a sign outside that says $50 .00 for overnight parking. Upon checking out i showed this to the lady at the front desk ans she acted so suprised and advised that they hires an outside company for valet and it has nothing to do with them. I sat down and waiting on my car feom valet and another person checking out she had been there 2 days and was charged $241.00 from the valet service, she went to the front desk also for the same lady to act soo suprised yet again, that they have a valet company ripping and over charging people just to stay at that hotel. Dont stay here, you can not park your own vehicle and they are complicit with the valet scamming people.

Needless to say we thought we had completed the reservation process for a room at the Canopy but did not have a reservation after all. Jarrett Major at the front desk was a life saver. He set out minds at ease and assured us that everything was going to be ok. He quickly got us taken care of with accommodations and we were able to enjoy the rest of our evening. Jarrett Major will be the reason we revisit Canopy Hilton, he is awesome!!

Location was strategic for us visiting a school nearby. Area where it was located was safe even at night The bed was uncomfortable and I had a hard time sleeping. I wish their beds were firmer. The restaurant seems like it was always closed. Our room was facing another apartment that was so close you feel that you have no privacy.
• Hope (9/5): The Canopy by Hilton is a chic boutique hotel that is priced reasonably. - I had never heard of this hotel. I found it thru an online search. I am already considering it for my next stay in the area. The location is ideal. I love the barn door feature. I wasn't there long enough to access any of the amenities except for the 24 hour valet service. I appreciated that availability.

Coffee was really good compared to usual hotel coffee. My only criticism is that the little refrigerator did not work. It was on, but warmer than the even the room air. My parents stayed in room 1002.
• Robyn (4/5): - Stay elsewhere. This place is on the same level as a budget motel. They have the ac on a motion sensor and if you don’t move consistently it will shut off and not come back on without the assistance of engineering staff. This means when you sleep, ac shuts off and stays off. Go out and expect to come back to a sweltering hot room and the ac may or may not come back on without an engineer coming up to “fix” it. Hilton has decided the best way for them to save money is to inconvenience the guests that are the source of their money. Brilliant. Dining is comically bad , might as well not even have a dining option because the service is so bad you may never get your food. There were weird stains in the bathroom on the walls and tissue holder. Based on the rest of my experience I’m not surprised at the lack of cleanliness. If you have any standards or expectations beyond what one might find at budget motel I suggest you stay elsewhere.

• 420ts (6/5): Disappointing Check-In Experience - We recently stayed at this Hilton and, unfortunately, the front desk check-in set a disappointing tone for our visit. The staff member who helped us, Kristen, came across as unfriendly and uninterested in providing any kind of welcoming experience. There was no warmth, no smile, and no effort to make us feel like valued guests — especially surprising as Hilton members who’ve come to expect a higher standard of service. Kristen seemed way underqualified for a front desk position and lacked the basic customer service skills you’d expect at a Hilton property. It really made the start of our stay feel awkward and uninviting. The rest of the hotel was fine, but that first impression matters — and this one missed the mark completely.
• Camper34278368811 (10/5): Great Service - I recently used the valet service and was very impressed with Saheeb and Vaughn and the overall experience. The attendants were professional, courteous, and efficient. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with a warm welcome, and my vehicle was handled with care.
• Nicole (10/5): - We came into town for a concert at Center Stage. The hotel was just a few steps away which eliminated the need to worry about fighting downtown traffic or finding parking. The area is nice and is walkable to shopping, restaurants, and theaters. Very pleasant experience!

• Pasha (9/5): - The hotel is clean new and fresh. The room is spacious, clean and modernized. It's in a great location, less than a mile from lots of restaurants and bars and other things you may need on a trip. If traveling for a concert or event, it was very convenient to get to the Mercedes Benz Stadium. The car ride was about 15 minutes (not during rush hour), but we ended up catching a bus we stumbled upon near the hotel that dropped us right in front of the stadium; once out of the crazy traffic at the stadium, it was 15 minute or less ride back. The price of parking is obscene. The staff who were on the parking staff were great, but the price is really a bit too much. And as other guests have mentioned, the refrigerator drawer does just enough to keep your things cool, not really cold.
• jesssV780NK (4/5): Do not recommend!!! Stay somewhere else! - Staff in the evening is very rude and gives attitude. Restaurant hours are misleading. They close the restaurant 30 minutes before the posted time. It’s not quiet at night. You can hear the cars on the street and sirens even though I was on the top floor. Management there doesn’t respond to customer inquires. Never staying there again. Don’t recommend!
• thebestplaceishome (10/5): Great Service - Was greeted at the desk by Jarrett who offered me great service. Check in was a breeze got all my perks as a gold member without a hassle. Room was appointed. Dry nicely with a great view of the city. Clean with all the essentials and pamper products.
• Dreamer49725332283 (10/5): Wonderful! - My family and I stayed in the Canopy Hilton this past weekend, and I can’t say enough nice things about our visit. Upon arriving we were greeted by John one of the Valets. John was so quick and sweet to help us with our baggage. Since there wasn’t a luggage cart available, he helped bring our baggage up to our room. And then Saheed, another valet was so kind when we arrived back to the hotel on Saturday night. It’s always so nice to feel like people are really wanting to take care of you, when you travel. The sweet woman at the front desk, was just as welcoming as John and Saheed, I wish I had gotten her name too. Thanks Canooy Hilton!!!!

• bjfcpa (6/5): Nice hotel but some service flaws. - The hotel is nice and the staff friendly. The room was nice, but not designed for a long stay because of limited drawer space. I had two problems: 1. I am a Hilton Honors member and no accommodations were made for that. I was not offered an upgraded room and I was not offered complimentary water at check-in. 2. The published valet rate was $50. I checked in at about 4 pm one day and checked out at 9 am the next morning. However, the charged rate was in excess of $60.

Did have an issue with my reservation being marked as a no show, after I had I checked in, showed ID, paid the incidentals deposit, and was given room keys. Room was then given to someone else while I was occupying it. Was frustrating dealing with another guest trying to access my room in the middle of the night. Check in was well before night audit as well. Gives the impression this location is not well run

• PBJennifer (10/5): Eco friendly, Warm, welcoming business trip. - Eco friendly (refilling water/ice stations with glass bottle) plastic free/real coffee mugs and separate sugar packets so you don’t waste the whole pre-made creamer sugar, spoon, napkin packets. Aluminum (recyclable) nespresso pods But what really stood out what the exceptional service. I stayed at the Canopy by Hilton Midtown Atlanta for a recent work trip, and the experience was everything a hotel stay should be. The staff here truly understands hospitality—from check-in to checkout, I felt like a welcomed guest, not just a room number. Jarrett at the front desk made a great first impression. He was warm, personable, and genuinely welcoming—offering me a complimentary drink coupon just for checking in. It's those little touches that make a big difference, especially after a long travel day. Throughout my stay, everyone I interacted with was kind and attentive. Whether it was a “good morning,” “have a good night,” or just a friendly hello, every interaction felt genuine—not forced or robotic. One staff member in particular served my colleagues and I one evening and then remembered me the next morning at breakfast. That level of attention made the experience feel personal, not transactional. The hotel itself is clean, modern, and comfortable—exactly what I expect from the Canopy brand—but it’s the people who made it memorable. The location is also great for walking to local businesses and two separate outdoor shopping area full of restaurants and close to midtown offices
