• Dominika (8/5): Nice view and overall a good guest house - The view for Fuji was amazing, the owner did his best to make us feel comfortable, I liked the bath and sauna room, smell of cosmetics was amazing, the tea was great. The room was very spacious, and the music evening was very nice as well The hotel requires some renovation works. The location is quite distant and the last bus departures from Kawaguchiko around 7pm so keep it in mind, although there are also taxis available. But there are nice restaurants in 15 min walk distance. The music (bells sound) everywhere in shared space was too creepy for me, and gave me a horror movie vibe, but it can be only me and for others it can be relaxing.

Yoshi-san was an excellent host, we felt at home. He even prepared us Yaki Imo for us to eat on the train the day we checked out. It was great, just be mindful that is not close and has stairs. Other than that it was perfect

• Claire (10/5): Formidable - Tout ! Le jacuzzi, le sauna, le Onsen, les concerts de Yoshi le soir en buvant des petits cocktails japonais, et l’ambiance globale ou l’on se sent comme à la maison ! Le seul point négatif peut être l’emplacement. Nous avons loué une voiture pour ce séjour mais je pense que sans voiture cela peut être compliqué notamment pour les restaurants qui ferments assez tôt (19h30) et ne sont pas très proches !
• Christine (10/5): Wundervoll - In wenigen Minuten erreicht man zu Fuß die n Kawaguchiko See mit einem unglaublichen Blick auf den Mount Fuji. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Fuji Blick gebucht und wurden mit einer herrlichen Aussicht auf den Berg belohnt! Das Crescendo ist familiär geführt und Yoshi ist ein großartiger Gastgebet. Wir waren für 2 Übernachtungen da. Das Frühstück war hausgemacht und lecker! Wir haben den Whirlpool, das Thermalbecken und die Sauna genutzt und waren sehr zufrieden. Weil wir uns nach dem Frühstück beeilen mussten den Bus zu erreichen hat Yoshi uns noch warme Süsskartoffeln für die Fahrt eingepackt. So lieb!Fujikawaguchiko ist nicht schön und zu laut- im crescendo haben wir genau das gefunden was wir gesucht haben, Ruhe, Erholung und eine herrliche Lage!

• Bambury (10/5): - Yoshi and his family have hospitality down to a fine art. They were amazing, made us feel so comfortable and at home. The amenities were brilliant, jacuzzi with a view of mt Fuji, private onsens and a wonderful view of mt Fuji from our room. The beds were also very comfortable. We loved our stay here and would highly recommend. It was a little further out of the main hub but it did mean you had great views of Fuji.

• Medha (10/5): Clean spacious rooms and bathroom, great views of Mt. Fuji, lovely hosts! - We had a fabulous view of Mt. Fuji from our room on the 1st floor. Yoshi and his wife were excellent hosts. The breakfast was delicious! The home-made pillowy soft bread and soup were my favourite. The onsen had an option to lock the door so you could have a private onsen. There was a jacuzzi too but sadly, we didn't have enough time to enjoy it. Overall, a 10/10 experience! The shower drain needs an upgrade as the water drained very slowly. Not too much of a bother, but an upgrade would be nice.
• Kate (10/5): - Yoshi was the ultimate host! He was so welcoming, happy, and helpful. The guesthouse is comfortable and well located on lake Kawaguchiko. We wondered if it was going to be off the beaten track, but it was well positioned to bus stops within a short walk, and we were glad we stayed here rather than the main town. Music hour and breakfast were definitely a highlight, as well as the onsen! Thank you Yoshi and family :)

The view was also breathtaking and we were lucky enough to get two perfectly clear days of Mt Fuji views and sunsets! The hot spring and jacuzzi were amazing amenities and the breakfast was top tier. Made with ingredients from Yoshi's garden and was the best breakfast we had by far. The host and staff were so generous and accommodating. Yoshi was kind enough to call us a taxi when we forgot to reserve one or else we would have missed our bus. You will not regret staying here, and we can't wait to go back! 11/10 Everything was perfect! I wouldn't change a thing.

It's such a lovely family-run hotel and Yoshi takes great pride in the great establishment he has created here. We really enjoyed the evening time in the bar where Yoshi played his guitar and sang Japanese (and other) songs. During this time we had such a nice time talking to other guests and connecting with them - it was all a very memorable stay. We loved our stay and found no negatives.

Хозяин, японец Йоши, очень вежливый и внимательный хозяин, буквально за всем приглядывает, а вечером устраивает музыкальные вечера. Завтраки просто восхитительные, их кстати, готовит его жена, используя фермерские продукты из огорода. Просто невероятно! Cам номер просторный, со всем необходимым. Все очень удобно, недалеко от автобусной остановки, с возвышенности видна Фудзи. Пешком минут за 7 можно дойти до набережной, а также возможно взять велосипеды в прокатах и доехать до города за 15 минут. В стоимость входят просто шикарные Онсэн и Джакузи, вы можете ими воспользоваться в свободное время. Также внизу стоит кофемашина, которой можно пользоваться в любое время. Я бы хотела приехать сюда еще раз!!! Желательно на недельку) Все было в лучшем виде!

• Michael (10/5): - Sehr herzlicher Gastgeber, der einem mit Rat und Tat zur Seite steht. Gerade in einem anderen Land mit komplett anderer Kultur kann man sich schnell verloren fühlen. Hier fühlt man sich einfach nur willkommen. Vielen Dank nochmal, Yoshi!
• Evan (10/5): If anyone is staying in Kawaguchiko they simply have to stay at Yoshi’s house, Crescendo. With live music each night, on - Crescendo was our absolute favourite stay throughout our whole time in Japan. The property and our rooms were absolutely spotless and had all of the amenities we needed. There’s a jacuzzi which looks onto Fuji, two Onsens one with a Sauna, a communal dining room also with a view of Fuji. Nothing - there is nothing that could be improved. Yoshi has done an amazing job and is a fantastic host.

• Ngarita (6/5): - It was a bit like stepping back in time, but all was fine. The hosts were kind, and the breakfast was nice. It was dated, but like I said, fine. We weren't told we had to order breakfast the night before. No big deal, but if you want breakfast, remember to do this. If you need to use a taxi, etc, the local tourist bus from the station stops not so far from the B N B. Stop 17. If coming from the station it took ages to wait for a taxi so I'd say catch the bus.

We could use the jacuzzi and onsen at no extra cost, and there was even a sauna. ​Between 22:00 and 23:00, the host played Japanese songs on the first floor – an exceptional experience. Breakfast was also delicious and high quality. Everything was just perfect. ​There is a bus station a 10-minute walk from the house, but be aware that it stops running around 18:00. Zu Fuß ist man schnell am See. Die Gegend ist nicht so voll und es ist eher ruhig. Es gibt zwei private Onsen, die man nutzen kann und Massagesessel (herrlich!) :) Yoshi macht abends Musik für die Gäste, es ebenfalls ein Highlight war! Danke!

Communal microwave and fridge available, hairdryer, kettle, viewing lounge, onsen and spa and homebar on site. Breakfast available for an additional charge and it varied by day but a good variety. The hotel was very chintzy and quirky and the owner Yoshi was incredibly helpful with everything and put on a music gig every night which was just good vibes all around. Loved the warm sweet potatoes Yoshi gave us from his garden as he waved us off.

• Caroline Emilie (10/5): - Das Hotel ist familienbetrieben. Man wird herzlich von Yoshi, dem Inhaber, empfangen und erhält zur Begrüßung ein Wasser. Die Zimmer ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber urig. Das macht den Charme dieses Hotels aus. Die Zimmer sind groß, mit eigenem Badezimmer und vor allem sehr sauber. Das Frühstück war total lecker und wird von Yoshi und seiner Familie selbst zubereitet. Von 22-23 Uhr ist die Music Bar mit Live-Gitarrenmusik von Yoshi geöffnet. Das Hotel verfügt über 2 private Onsen, die ohne Reservierung genutzt werden können. Darüber hinaus gibt es einen Whirlpool, der mit Reservierung ebenso privat genutzt werden kann. Beides komplett ohne zusätzliche Kosten. Wir hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt und kommen beim nächsten Fuji-Besuch gerne wieder.

Tudo muito limpo e bem cuidado. Mas o que realmente torna a experiência inesquecível é o atendimento do Sr. Yoshi. Ele é um ser humano extremamente amável e atencioso — daqueles que fazem você se sentir verdadeiramente bem-vinda e transformam a estadia em algo único. Seremos eternamente gratos pelo carinho que ele teve no dia do meu aniversário, um gesto que fez tudo ainda mais especial.

• Marianne (10/5): - Incroyable ! Le propriétaire était aux petits soins, très gentil. Il y a un spa (jacuzzi, bain chaud, sauna) accessible jusqu’à 23h. Des sièges pour dos et pieds massants à disposition gratuitement. Les chambres sont spacieuses. L’hôtel donne vue sur le mont Fuji et est à proximité du lac. Rien, juste à noter qu’il faut absolument un taxi pour se rendre à l’hôtel car il est loin de la gare.

My partner and I had a wonderful stay, Yoshi the owner was super helpful and enthusiastic, he played music at night and brought us sweet potato with honey from the garden when we checked out. The onsen and jacuzzi rooms were lovely and calming. My only regrets are not staying longer! We will absolutely be back!

• GIA ING (9/5): 1 of the most memorable and magical experience in Tokyo - hard to forget - Booked this place knowing that it's far away from the town, but its view and homestay-like hotel attracts us; Yoshi as mentioned in almost all reviews is really so passionate and treats everyone so nicely. Accommodation was great, and it's away far away, but the hosting given by Yoshi, totally worth it Surrounding has not much dinner choice, be sure to get your dinner ready OR travel abit for dinner

• Moawia (10/5): Relaxing stay at a charming place - Yoshi and his family were incredible hosts and very attentive throughout our trip - he showed us around the property, gave us paper for origami and a puzzle and even sent us off with a delicious home-grown sweet potato for breakfast! The room is beautiful and very clean, with extremely comfortable beds. The amenities are lovely - the private onsen and sauna are particularly good after a long day in the cold. Also be sure to grab a drink and attend the music session Yoshi performs at night as he is a great musician and it’s lots of fun! We ate dinner at Izakaya Tatsumi restaurant which is not far from the hotel and has delicious food at a reasonable price. We would love to come back to see Mt.Fuji in clearer weather and we would definitely choose Crescendo again - this was a highlight of our 3 month trip!

Dommage qu’il n’y ait pas pas de consigne le jour du départ à vous de vous. Le ousen gratuit a l’hôtel est un plus Pas de consignes le jour de départ, ce qui est fort handicapant
