Guest Reviews
- Alessia (6/5): - La piscina Il condizionatore non funzionava e le tende troppo chiare facevano entrare tutta la luce era bollente la stanza
- YAFAN (3/5): - Toilet is very dirty and smelly, the pool was also very nasty, very disappointed
- Bruno (3/5): - bad experience. The hotel was extremely dirty, with constant mosquito infestations day and night. The doors don’t close properly, which lets even more insects inside. The overall maintenance is very poor, and the place looks nothing like the photos or description. Avoid this place unless they do a real cleaning and fix the problems.

- Richard (8/5): Ungasan and Kutuh village reminds me of Kuta 40 years ago. - It was quiet. The swimming pool was nice and clean. People in the local warungs and shops were very friendly and helpful.
- Logan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Julia (9/5): I loved staying at Dinar Hills Ungasan, I will be back !! Thank you so much ☺️☺️🙏🏽🙏🏽 - Very lovely homestay, the garden is so peaceful, the pool is a dream jacuzzi, location is perfect if you are looking for some rest from the influencer / tourist Uluwatu zone. The place is really quiet, a real heaven retreat, the garden is beautiful, the bedroom and bathroom are quite spacious, the little dog is so cute 🥰🥰 Breakfast could be included
I had only hot boiling water in the shower and sink, but I'm sure maintenance team can fix it
- Jack (8/5): Very good -
- Cecilia (1/5): Not safe for health reasons - Manager responded quickly when alerted that the room was not clean and there was a leaky sink. The room was not clean upon check in, ants and leaking sink. Mold was extensive. I had a severe headache and had to wear a mask even when sleeping. I left after 2 days.
- Taylor (10/5): Exceptional -
- Osvaldo (6/5): Too expensive for what it is - The villa itself is nice, but it did not meet our expectations; in fact, it did not reflect its value at all. It is located near Pandawa and Melasti beaches, in a quiet neighborhood. However, we found the pool to be dirty, the toilets were also unclean, and the shower needed maintenance.
The kitchen was minimally equipped for breakfast, but we found it in a deplorable condition, with everything being dirty. No sugar salt or oil. We even discovered worms and leeches in the kitchen, which was horrific! We had to request room cleaning almost daily, but the staff did not speak English, so we had to rely on Google Translate. We only saw the villa manager once, and when we tried to communicate the various issues we encountered, we received no response, either via message or in person. The facilities of the property, including the toilet and shower, were very dirty.
- Vanessa (8/5): Very good - Amazing room. Large, comfortable bed. Beautiful pool and facilities. A little far from the main part of Uluwatu (about 20-30min drive to the sunset beaches)
- Sharon (8/5): Very good - The rooms were great and very comfortable. We got there and the pool was green. We spoke about it and was told it was getting cleaned as the filter was not working. Our whole time there the pool was not usable which was a bit disappointing with not being within walking distance to a beach.
- Lina (7/5): Pleasant villa - Property contains few villas, nice pool and overall quiet location. Good for short stay Our room had very squeaky bed, bathroom missing sliding doors, overall room was designed weirdly. Had two sinks in the kitchen, massive bathroom and furniture was odd.
- Bertrand (8/5): Very good -
- Mihaly (8/5): Very good -
- Margaret (7/5): Good - Helpful and responsive manager. Repairs were needed, which were done while I was there. No personal touches, no.breakfast offering and no drinks available to purchase as the shops are not a walk away. Recommendations for local restaurants would have been useful and offer of transport to sights of interest.
- Hanna (10/5): Exceptional -
- Braithwaite (9/5): Superb -
- Braithwaite (9/5): Comfortable , quiet with attentive staff! - Superb layout of chalets and gardens. Secluded but close to nearby beaches and other facilities.
- Agaaa5 (5/5): Don't recommend - Clean room, comfy bed Photos look great, but... noone there at the reception for 2 days, "staff" speaks no English. Wrote many messages for someone to get back to me, no reply until today. No real help in renting a bike either, as the only person there was a local boy, not willing to communicate. Pool not clean, shared kitchen stinky. Too expensive for what it is.
Some guests had a moldy room, but noone to get back to, as noone was there.
- Bertolucci (8/5): Very good -
- Alan (6/5): Pleasant -
- Ashley (8/5): Very good -
- Marcin. (10/5): Very pleasant multi night stay, close to beach access - I booked 2 villa. One for adults and one for kids. We got entire twin complex 🥰. Staff super helpful, extra linen, extra key for villa used by kids,
Just enjoyable complex and very relaxing. Glad to have found it. Needs some Maintinance with lose bathroom fitting. But such things I overlook on a short stay. Overall Nothing negative to me mentioned.
- Salvador (10/5): Exceptional - All excellent No complaints
- Gabriela (7/5): Good place for short stay, convenient for connections to Uluwatu and airport. - The room was big and comfortable, great shower. The outside area was nice and clean. There was a sewage smell in our room.
- Gabiriele (10/5): Exceptional - Quite but close to main Rd. Peaceful spot and clean.
- Anonymous (2/5): Too untidy, would not recommend and the frog was it for me. - The bed was comfortable if you don’t mind stains in the sheets. Also the air conditioning was working and hot water was working. The stuff was also nice but all of them could not speak english so the communication was only possible with the one guy. There was a FROG in my bed… so disgusting!!! Also so many bugs in the room. The sheets were so dirty, full of stains. But the sheets were super soft so without the stains it would have been fine. Then the shower/bathroom was awful, it smelled so bad it was hard to be there. I think the whole shower was moldy. You could smell the mold and also see it. The swimming pool was dirty, algae/seaweed was growing there so I don’t think they clean it very often.
