Guest Reviews
- Claire (8/5): - Lovely setting in the trees with lots of birds, great central location. Lack of communication from staff when trying to adjust dates of booking.
- Debra (8/5): Great location in lovely surroundings. - Great walking distance to Coles & nearby cafe at the Macquarie Park Cemetery. Staff member Sharon was particularly helpful to our group. A section of the screen door was damaged so could do with replacing to keep out the mosquitos.
- Gilma (7/5): Good - Entire cabin was great, with everything I need. Smeely couch (like sweat) that smell spread entire unit. Feel yuck to sit in it
- James (10/5): Great place to stay. - Lovely place to stay. Definitely don’t feel like you’re in the city. Plenty of wildlife that comes and visits. Staff were friendly. We will definitely be back. I had to go home 😢
- sybil (5/5): Great location but was let down by the cleanliness of the cabin. - The location and the birds. The room was very dirty and there was quite a bit of mold. I emailed the night we got in and let them know, and emailed them again the day we left and have still heard nothing back. We were extremely busy and were unable to get in and see anyone to talk about it.
- Michelle (10/5): beautiful place, cute modern cabin - surroundings, the room was nice and clean, loved the vibe and the quiet maybe could of been abit bigger rooms and the couch wasn’t that comfy
- Helen (10/5): -
- Stephanie (10/5): -
- Gary (8/5): - Good family spot Main bed had mold on the sheets. A fair bit of mold.
Had to strip the bed to sleep on it.
- Leigh (10/5): - Lovely quiet location, spotless cabin, perfect location as a base for our week of activity, including utilising the Metro train.
- Turner (9/5): Take the kids on the trip!!! - The receptionist had been very kind and helpful the two days leading upto our stay. On arrival, she was beyond accomodating for my niece, who was a last minute guest!!! We loved our stay! And right across from the park! Perfect for 4 little kids! The kids loved the cuckatoos and bush turkeys!! And....we got spoilt with free Easter craft kits for us all!! Body wash and shampoo containers were next to empty, so that was a shame.

- Michelle (10/5): - Everything. The location, facilities and amenities were spot on. Great place and would definitely recommend. Absolutely nothing.
- Kris (8/5): Great location and very nice accommodation. - Found it very easy to travel through Sydney to reach location. Impressed with design and practicality of accommodation. Some people were loud at 10pm but it was Friday night so to be expected.

- leslie (6/5): Not too bad, but can be improved - location is perfect, the environment, nature, playground is wonderful. everything we need is available inside. quiet and peaceful the couch in the living room is filthy...in between the spaces there's like left over food and under the couch few rubbish found.
Also, we lost electricity on Monday without prior notice. I have 3 children and we're unable to make their meal because of that, had to spend money for takeaway... also if they told us early, we could have made changes with our plan instead of staying indoors.
- McDaniel (9/5): Great escape from Sydney Mayhem - We stayed in a cabin, it had everything we needed. It was great to escape from the busy roads of Sydney. The reserve around us made you feel you we on holiday and helped you relax. Nice walk round the river and seeing some of the wildlife. Facilities were clean. Stayed 5 nights, will stay there again
- MaryAnn (8/5): -
- Lachlan (9/5): -
- Ruwhiu (4/5): - The location was awesome, we saw a lot more wildlife then we would've had we stayed anywhere else in Sydney.
The staff member that checked us in was super friendly and helpful and made the check in process easy. There was an unusual smell that lingered for our stay, possibly coming from the drains, the pillows also smelt mouldy. All in all it didn't feel clean, and the cabin itself is in need of some general TLC.
- travis (8/5): - The location was great The cabin we were in wasn't sealed to well to keep bugs out at its main door. There was a half inch gap that would let insects in.
- Angela (8/5): -

- Thomas (8/5): -
- Frances (10/5): -
- Kayla (7/5): - Only stayed a night Good space shower was huge Bed was way too soft
- Fraser (10/5): - It's a fantastic place to stay
- Royden (1/5): Appalling - Black mould on pillow cases, stained sheets, broken glasses left in cupboard, dirty crockery, shower would'nt drain die to hair and soap scum build up
- Gary (10/5): - Great Location
- Rose (9/5): -
- Margaret (6/5): - The pool was clean; the location was nice; the shower was clean with great water pressure; the facilities were ok The top bunk didn't have a sheet put on, we had to do that ourselves. For what we were charged you think that should be included. The metal ladder of the bunk had the plastic cap missing on the top and my child was scratched by it. The staff at the reception were ok but lacked any friendliness or connection.

- Matthew (6/5): Nice but cleaners need to do their job - Great location. Lovely grounds Room was not clean. Bed sheets were old and blanket smelt like vomit. Cockroaches crawled over us at night
- Walkabout Girl (10/5): - It was a lovely place. Nature reserve behide us. Beds and pillows were get. I was clean, including pots and pans. The pool was wonderful also. Lovely coffee van out the front. Friendly staff. Thank you

- Holley (10/5): -
- Michelle (9/5): Nice place - Bushland setting Big property.
Long walk to reception and family staying on the other side of the park. Would have liked the opportunity to pay extra to upgrade to a cabin closer.
- Katrina (7/5): - The national park, the wildlife, the clean facilities. We used the BBQs and pool, which were great. The cabin had everything you need. Having to make up the bunk beds, the top sheet was very starchy and the mattress wasn't easy to sleep on. The flight path spoilt the serenity!
- Joshua (10/5): -
- Nathalie (7/5): -
- Janelle (9/5): Great amenities and family space to manage all ages. - Location, amenities and comfort to meet the needs of our family - we had sport, work and holidaying all mixed in!

- Sally (10/5): Can’t wait to go back - Absolutely loved the location not far from the Kissing Point Ferry Warf. Loved the location away from the hussle & bussle kids had so much space to spread out n play.
- Justin (9/5): -
- Joe (10/5): - Loved the trees and the cabins how they were positioned, one forward one back, which created privacy.
- Beatriz (9/5): Beautiful place, location, cabins were great, swimming pool great. We highly enjoyed our stay. - I loved the location. Bush walk was superb, easy and accessible. Lack of information upon arrival. We were given a map without much explanation. Wasn’t told about the boom gate code written on the map. Had to go back to reception to ask for it. Wasn’t informed about the amenities provided at the site. Had to ask the front desk clerk myself as I looked into the map. Taking the time to provide information to the guests I find would make a massive difference. Better customer service needed.

- Robyn Devonshire (7/5): Lane Cove Getaway - We have stayed before at Lane Cove Last Christmas. We really like staying in the bush surrpundings. Cabins are great & clean & tidy? I of the beds in the 2nd bedroom wasn't very comfy but the 2nd bed in the 2nd room was? My bed in the main bedroom was comfy though?
- Jen (10/5): Fantastic experience with great accommodations - We absolutely loved the location and proximity to downtown Sydney. It was very easy to get into the downtown area, but still felt like we were removed from the hustle and bustle of a major city. We stayed in a bungalow and it was perfect for our family of five (two adults and three children ages 12, nine, seven). Our daughters LOVED hanging out with the birds! We liked everything!
- Michelle (10/5): Loved it - Staff super friendly, very clean and relaxing grounds
- Fiona (8/5): -
- Briscoe (10/5): Excellent - Convienient and pretty N/a
- Yeodi (9/5): Overall, we loved our stay here, definitely coming back! - The place is surrounded by beautiful greenery. It's so peaceful and our cabin was almost new and very clean. I don't know what they're called but there were some bugs in our cabin kitchen we had to deal with multiple times.
- Maria (10/5): -
- Lynda (8/5): -
- lynne (9/5): - Everything needed was there, enough players, cutlery, coathanger etc which is not always the case! Location was good for me and it was quiet.
- Angelika (8/5): A hidden Gem in the middle of Sydney - Stunning outlook bordering Lane Cove National Park. The spacious outside deck attracted many birds. The unit was bright and light, very clean and had a well equipped kitchen. Parking was easy and the staff very friendly.
It’s about 10 minutes drive to Macquarie Park shopping centre where there are restaurants and shops of any description. The property is under a flight path so there is an ongoing medium noise level except during curfew hours between 12 midnight and 6 am. Earplugs for the night would definitely be the go.
- LEZA (10/5): National park views, wild birds on the balcony and luxury accomodation in a fabulous location! - The delux cabins are absolutely amazing, wildlife outside the door and facing the national park in an absolutely beautiful cabin, couldn’t ask for more. Nothing
- Anne-Maree (10/5): - Stay regularly as close to Sydney work base
- Jane (10/5): Brilliant spot, lovely cabin. - We booked the deluxe cabin and it was great. Spacious, clean, well kitted out, quiet location lots of local wildlife visiting.
- Anne (9/5): Very comfortable stay.would xome again - Two bedroom cabin was very comfortable and nicely positioned next to bush land.
- Jason (7/5): - Location great. Cabins were good. Some things understocked like no plug for sink or fly spray. Staff nice. Laundry facilities are great. Play grounds were limited. My older kids were a bit bored. Not enough play equipment for kids. Very basic.
- Yasmin (10/5): - The native birds were a great surprise :)
- Mercedes (7/5): Great Sydney location for a great price - Location, value, views Not so clean, very small rooms
- Alarna (8/5): -
- Nicole (8/5): Will happily stay again - Great location and value for money, very beautiful park. No privacy.
- GRAHAM (10/5): -
- Keith (10/5): - How peaceful and charming the park is.
So close to everything and staff are amazing That we had to leave to come home
