- Andriy (8/5): - 1. This property DOESN'T HAVE ANY PARKING! Please, don't mislead potential guests- no designates parking. By the streets is very unsafe and inconvenience. You may or may not find place around. Most streets are one way, parked with cars and small bikes. Priceless help from Hotel's employee- William. He helped to drive to private, safe parking for night. Also he was very professional and friendly, Mucha Gracias!
- Daniel (10/5): - We enjoyed our stay! The breakfast was great, rooms were clean, and the manager/staff were very accommodating. If you are renting a car, the parking situation can be a little tricky finding a spot nearby on the side of the road. Although I had no issues, if you’re a Gringo like I am, I wouldn’t recommended walking around here too much at night. However, per usual, the local Dominicans were very nice and helpful! I would stay at this property again if I go back to Santo Domingo.

- PMC-V23 (8/5): Good location in the colonial area - The public areas of the hotel are nicely decorated. The rooms and bathrooms need some renovations. The beds are very comfortable. Good quality bed and bathroom linen. The rooms are clean. The breakfast is served from 8am, it is good but very light. The staff could be more welcoming. Reasonably priced property.

- Edwin Mendoza (10/5): - We stayed here for 3 nights. Excellent service from all members of the staff, beyond expectations. Had a safe and mini fridge with water bottles, as well as A/C and nice tv with cable service. Breakfast was included and was promptly served and very good with different options to choose from. The only issue and was not related to hotel was that they were constructing in the streets. But that was not in front of the hotel, but around all colonial zone. And I repeat was not controlled by the hotel management. We were treated like family and felt very welcome. Even recommended the hotel to our Uber drivers. If staying again in the area will definitely stay there. Thanks for everything Hotel Class Colonial!!!
- Mark (10/5): - This is a great hotel for a great price. It will be my "go to" for personal travel in the Colonial Zone from now on. Great friendly staff, stylish and spotless public spaces and a fantastic breakfast. There is not parking included, but there are couple pay lots a block away the staff will direct you to. We were able to find on-street parking nearby for free, though. This an older building with cool architecture but the reception area is on the second floor, so this might not be a good for someone who can't do a flight of stairs, but the staff is very willing to help with bags. It could be easy to miss, too, since it's just a door with a small sign on the street level, but our maps program took us right to the front door. Many of the rooms look over the Conde, Santo Domingo's pedestrian plaza and the balcony room gives you a birds-eye view of all the action. It's also half a block from Grande's Cafe, more commonly known as Paco's, a very authentic Dominican restaurant that's open 24/7. This place is a gem. We'll definitely be back.

The TV in my room did not work, but the AC did and I was just there for 1 night to catch an early flight to the US. The staff very nice. Spoke English. Took one if the staff for a beer at the republica brewery. Nice guy.

- Dianne (10/5): - I love this place when I am staying in the capital. It’s perfect for me. It’s meticulously clean and they attend to small details making their service excellent. I used to work for Four Seasons Chicago which is known for service, and I notice these guys are carefully striving for excellence in service. This hotel is not going to be for everyone. Like, if you’re a fancy, uptight snob, you’re not going to be satisfied here. Also, forget about it if you cannot climb stairs because it has a beautiful set of stairs inside its entrance that go up the lobby. Also, it’s not in the center of the heart of the main action by that pigeon park. It’s down toward Parque Independencia. For me, I prefer a little distance from that area. This place has a classic, boutique feel, with Dominican style. Simple, beautiful, very clean, excellent service. I didn’t want to tell everyone about this place. The only reason I’m writing this review is because I’m so grateful for how kind and professional they treat me. I’m writing this review after my second time staying there.

- N5216FOmaureenw (8/5): Cute hotel - Cute hotel in great location. Just around the corner from El Conde, with tons of restaurants and shops. Bed was a bit hard, but room was comfortable. Staff was friendly and gave us tips on where to go. We had afternoon drinks on the patio, and staff put on traditional music for us. Breakfast was perfect for starting the day: coffee, juice, and 7 or 8 choices, from omelets to pancakes. We enjoyed our stay. We were even given a key to open outside door, which was always locked for safety.

Left me stranded at the airport and tried to give me what amounted to a closet instead of the room I paid for upon arrival. Staff was rude and un accommodating. They kept turning off the wifi as ai was calling to report the issue. They get you there and try and rip you off. Never use this place if you don’t want to be ripped off. I left in an Uber and emergency booked another place.

- JAVAN (4/5): - I did not stay the full time. I left Thursday 12/30/2021. So adjustments need to be made on the total cost. The hotel is convenient to everything in walking distance. The hotel needs something to control the insects infestation my room had roaches and blood sucking pests. I was first placed in a room that was horrible. Then after complaining moved to slightly better accommodations. Beds were uncomfortable more upgrades are needed.
- 958travelr (10/5): Good Hotel, Good Price - Hotel Class Colonial is a very nice and pretty hotel in the old town. Don't let the two stars stop you, it's really great. The location is of course perfect to explore everything. The hotel itself is in colonial style. The rooms are a bit smaller but that's ok. The bathroom is also okay. It is also well ventilated by the air conditioning system. We had a room with a balcony. I can only recommend this. The breakfast there is great. It is served in a small garden. You have a choice of two options and both are delicious. The service is good and friendly. They help you quickly when you need something. The price performance ratio is also not to be topped. This is really very good. For 2-3 days you can stay here well.
- Cruiser08406245473 (10/5): Best hotel ever! - This hotel is one of the best I have ever stayed in. The Front Desk Manager, Roger is "guest-focused". He is attentive, proactive, efficient and will always greet you with a smile, asking what else he can do for you. The owners, a husband and wife team, are only concerned with guest satisfaction. All other employees as well,, will provide service with a smile. They are very present and welcoming. The location is perfect. Proximity to restaurants, tourist attractions and it is about a short 20 minutes ride to the beach. Very quaint, with old-world charm. I highly recommend this hotel!
- 614catherinet (10/5): Nicely located in the colonial district - I spent 2 nights there because my flight that was initially planned to Punta Cana got canceled and I had to fly through Santo Domingo instead. Found this place last minute on booking and was very happy with the service. The place is very clean, hot water and air con, affordable rates. The owner Rebecca was very nice and professional. Gave me great advices on places to go visit. Breakfast was inclusive and totally of great quality and quantity considering the rates. Would definitely go back and stay there if I ever have to fly through Santo Domingo again!

- M&A (8/5): - Pros: Very nice people, great location, the colonial zone is beautiful, the staff was very friendly, the place is clean. Cons: The one thing we didn't like was the fact that Expedia lists the place among hotels that include parking, but parking is not included. We had to pay for parking a few blocks from the hotel. Expedia should fix its filtering tool to avoid this type of misunderstanding.

Rooms are very colonial, very simple and very clean. We had a room with AC a king size bed snd balcony. Breakfast was included, the first day we were served scrambled eggs, sausages, toasts, coffee and Juice. It is located at the center of paseo el Conde, many shops and restaurants . Definetly would stay there again.
