- Pam Hamlett (10/5): Best B&B South Italy - We spent an absolutely amazing week at Relais Buona Stella, and it truly gave us the authentic Italian experience we had been dreaming of. Emiddio was the most wonderful host, making us feel like part of his family from the moment we arrived. Almost every evening, they prepared incredible homemade meals for us, from beautiful pasta dishes to fresh seafood specialties we had requested. Every meal was made with love, heart, and soul, and you could truly taste the authenticity of home-cooked Italian cuisine in every bite. The accommodation itself was stunning. From our beautiful balcony, we had breathtaking views overlooking the bay, where we could see Castellammare di Stabia, Mount Vesuvius, and even Pompeii in the distance. Waking up to those views every morning was simply unforgettable. Situated up in the mountains in Pimonte, the location is peaceful, picturesque, and incredibly beautiful. The B&B also has a lovely swimming pool, which my husband thoroughly enjoyed, and the entire property is so well cared for and welcoming. The little town of Pimonte itself is full of charm and character, and staying at Relais Buona Stella truly allows you to experience the real heart of Italy, not just as a tourist, but as if you are part of the local culture and way of life. If you want a genuine Italian experience filled with warmth, incredible food, breathtaking scenery, and heartfelt hospitality, then Relais Buona Stella is absolutely the place to stay. We cannot recommend it highly enough and will treasure the memories forever. Absolutely nothing. Everything was perfect from start to finish, and we genuinely could not fault a single thing. If we could give it 20/10 we would 😊

- Anna Theresa (10/5): Ein sehr herzliches und bemühtes Hotel mit einer unbeschreiblichen Aussicht. - Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel! Besonders hervorheben möchten wir den unglaublich kommunikativen und herzlichen Gastgeber, der sich jederzeit um unser Wohl gekümmert hat und immer für Fragen oder Empfehlungen da war. Man fühlt sich sofort willkommen und bestens aufgehoben. Die Aussicht ist einfach traumhaft – egal ob morgens beim Frühstück oder abends bei Sonnenuntergang, der Blick bleibt unvergesslich. Auch das Essen war hervorragend: frisch, liebevoll zubereitet und geschmacklich auf höchstem Niveau. Insgesamt ein rundum gelungener Aufenthalt, den wir jederzeit wiederholen würden. Le camere sono pulite, silenziose e curate nei dettagli. La colazione a buffet, sia dolce che salata, è varia e di ottima qualità. Il signor Emiddio si distingue per la sua disponibilità: sempre pronto a soddisfare ogni richiesta, è riuscito a organizzarci anche un noleggio vespa all’ultimo minuto e una cena eccellente, davvero deliziosa. La camera super comoda, una casettina sopra la piscina, il letto comodissimo e l'atmosfera è davvero tranquilla. Colazione davvero ottima, proprio come il la cena. Lo staff gentilissimo e super disponibile. Il titolare davvero simpatico, una persona che ti accoglie con il sorriso da mattina a sera, e che ci tiene a farti vivere il posto nel migliore dei modi. A staff , especially Emidio is very friendly, hospitable , giving a feel of home there. A restaurant in the place provides delicious meals and good atmosphere. The place is perfect for couples or travellers that want to relax mostly in pastoral place, less for families wanting to explore surrounding. The driving in Amalfi coast is difficult especially if you have a big car.

- Stuart (10/5): Top of the world - This spot is ace. One of the greatest views you’ll ever see. Walk up to the Croce at Sunset and the view’s even better (618 metres/2000+ ft). Delicious food. Great beer, great wine. Get a small car and the journey there is fun. Get a medium car like us (ford focus estate and it’s scary: but do’able). Pompeii is a great day trip. Jump on the train to Sorrento. X It’s probably not for everyone. It’s remote. But embrace the experience and you’ll love it.

- Robert (9/5): - Laat je niet afschrikken door het laatste stukje weg naar de accommodatie toe. Na de eerste keer is het stukken minder spannend. Al is een niet te grote auto geen overbodige luxe. De hele vriendelijke eigenaar noemt deze weg “the road to paradise”. En daar heeft hij wel een beetje gelijk in. Ik heb niet vaak een accommodatie op Booking aangetroffen waarvan de foto’s zo goed overeenkomen met de werkelijkheid. Een prachtige plek, met idem uitzicht. Helaas voor ons liet het weer het niet toe om gebruik te maken van zwembad. Maar dat kan niet anders dan een prettige ervaring zijn. De kamer is schoon, modern en comfortabel. De eigenaar doet zijn uiterste best om alles naar het zin te maken. Geeft tips en helpt als het nodig is, met het keren van je auto. Wat ons 1 keer bijzonder goed uitkwam. Het ontbijt is dik in orde. Voor eenieder wat wils. Wil je in de avond niet meer op pad, dan is het ook mogelijk om te blijven eten. De dochter van de eigenaar kookt dan. Wij hebben heerlijk gegeten. Qua kosten wel iets duurder dan het lokale restaurant, maar daar krijg je dan comfort voor terug. Voor ons een prettige ervaring en zouden iedereen deze accommodatie aanraden. Tot slot: Sorrento en Pompeii zijn zeer goed bereikbaar vanuit hier en ook een groot deel van de Almalfikust. Aanrader. Als ik echt wat moet noemen, dan kan het bed iets comfortabeler. Voor mij was deze aan de harde kant. Maar ik realiseer mij dat dit zeer persoonlijk is. Verblijf was gewoon top.

Frühstück und Abendessen waren sehr gut. Wir werden dieses Hotel sicher nicht das letzte mal besucht haben. Vielen Dank dem Gastgeber Emiddio für die schönen Tage. Das Hotel liegt am Ende einer sehr schmalen Bergstraße und somit ist es für große Fahrzeuge fast nicht zu erreichen. Daher aber auch die oben beschriebene Ruhe. Von Emiddio wurden wir aber schon vorab über diese Situation informiert

De locatie is prachtig gelegen in een oase van rust, er gaat een avontuurlijke autorit aan vooraf om de locatie te bereiken, maar je wordt beloond met een fantastisch uitzicht over de baai van Napels en de Vesuvius! Dit is onbetaalbaar. Niet van toepassing
- Diemo (10/5): - Atemberaubende Lage. Von unserem Balkon aus wunderbaren Blick über die Bucht von Neapel. Genauso der Ausblick von der Terrasse zum Frühstück oder Abendessen. Beides sehr lecker. Zimmer sauber. Service super und auch einfach über die QR-Codes zu bestellen. Emidio als Gastgeber war ebenso toll. Freundlich, persönlicher Empfang, zuvorkommend und hat uns auch noch Ausflugszielen empfohlen. Weg zur Unterkunft als geübter Fahrer kein Problem. Hat Spaß gemacht zu fahren. Unterkunft einfach zu empfehlen!
- Doris (10/5): Wunderschön! - Wir hatten einen wirklich wunderschönen Aufenthalt. Die Aussicht auf das Meer und Neapel ist wahrscheinlich die schönste in der ganzen Umgebung. Die Zimmer sind sehr schön, das Essen sehr gut, der Pool ausreichend. Wir können diese Unterkunft nur empfehlen! Die Straße zur Unterkunft ist eng, aber darauf wird man bei der Buchung hingewiesen. Die Zufahrt lohnt sich allerdings :)

- Diane (10/5): Cuisine familiale savoureuse, hôte chaleureux, vue imprenable - Nous avons passé un séjour vraiment agréable au Bueno Stella. L’endroit est idéal pour ceux qui souhaitent être loin du bruit et de la foule trépidante de la ville, tout en restant tout près des sites incontournables comme Pompéi (à voir absolument) et Herculanum (à visiter sans faute). De là, il est facile aussi de rayonner vers Capri, Sorrente, Positano ou Amalfi. Le soir, quel bonheur de se retrouver en montagne pour un souper après une petite baignade dans la piscine ! L’accueil du propriétaire est extraordinaire. Sa fille, en cuisine, prépare des repas du soir qui rivalisent avec les meilleures tables : mention spéciale pour les pâtes régionales et la mozzarella fraîche du jour. Une cuisine familiale délicieuse, bien plus qu’on ne pourrait l’imaginer. Enfin, même si la route qui monte vers l’auberge est étroite, le panorama qui vous attend une fois là-haut en vaut largement la peine : la vue sur la baie napolitaine, surtout le soir venu, est inoubliable.

The service was excellent, and the staff very welcoming and attentive. A special mention goes to Emidio, the owner, whose kindness and hospitality made our stay even more enjoyable. The room was spacious, spotless, and tastefully decorated. Everything was perfect — a wonderful place that we would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area.

Dit in combinatie met de mooie kamer, wij hadden een huisje, een prima ontbijt en de optie om ter plekke te dineren maakte het helemaal af. Emiddio is een uiterst gastvrije gastheer en heel behulpzaam. Het is een avontuurlijk ritje omhoog om bij de locatie te komen maar dan krijg je ook wat. Route staat goed aangegeven. Niets viel tegen.

- Karin (10/5): Kommer gärna tillbaka - Fantastisk utsikt, mycket sympatisk och trevlig ägare. Rent och välskött, mycket bekväm säng som vi sov gott i helt utan att få ont i ryggen. Avsevärt bättre frukost än man brukar få i Italien. Skönt att ha tillgång till poolen efter innehållsrika utflykter. Till sist riktigt bra mat på restaurangen! Rum nr 6, en av trästugorna, den hade en bättre avskild terrass än vad som syntes på bilderna. Inget, vi gillade allt! Men se till att följa ägarens rekommendation att hyra en liten, den minsta tillgängliga bilen. Har man en stor bil blir det trångt den sista biten upp till boendet.
- Karin (10/5): Tveka inte, boka! - Läget är utmärkt för olika utflykter i området, fantastisk utsikt. Skönt med lugnet efter att ha varit platser med mycket människor som Neapel, Pompei eller Amalfikusten under dagen. Mycket trevlig ägare, rent och välskött, bekväm säng och bra frukost. Rum 2 i huvudbyggnaden har en egen terrass med tak och en magnifik utsikt. Vällagad mat, bättre än på många andra ställen, även bra frukost med både varma ock kalla alternativ.

- Bärbel (7/5): Einfache Unterkunft hoch oben mit Küstenblick... - Aussicht war sehr schön,die Ausstattung zweckmäßig Frühstück war relativ einfach, nichts hervorhebenswertes, Kuchen war das einzigste Highlight. Anreise durch diese engen Gassen war der Horror und nicht unbedingt für "normale" Autos, außer man fährt einen Fiat 500,geeignet. Den Dreck überall kann man den Unterkünften nicht anlasten, aber dafür das die Amalfi Küste ein Weltkulturerbe ist, zu dreckig, ungepflegt und beschähmendswert. Leider nicht noch einmal, das war nur 1x die Reise wert.

Emidio ist ein großartiger Gastgeber! Das selbstgekochte Abendessen mit regionalen Zutaten war fabelhaft. Wir können die Unterkunft ausnahmslos empfehlen!
- Zbigniew (10/5): - Niesamowite miejsce, wspaniale zaaranżowane, cudowne widoki na Wezuwiusza, marinę i morze. Właściciel Emido ma gościnność we krwi i dzięki niemu można też poznać prawdziwego Neapolitańczyka. Jedzenie w restauracji jest przepyszne a ceny bardzo przystępne. No i jest aplikacja do zamawiania drinków które są dostarczane na basen z do pokoju czy na taras widokowy. Śniadania dobre. Świetny obiekt z bardzo dobrym stosunkiem jakości do ceny.
- Corrie (10/5): Een heerlijke, mooi gelegen locatie om lekker bij te komen. Zon, boekje, zwembad, cocktail en eten - De hartelijke ontvangst. De eigenaar zorgt er voor dat iedereen het naar zijn zin heeft. Een heerlijke plek om even bij te komen. Zon. Boekje, duik in het zwembad. Cocktail. Daarnaast ligt het mooi gelegen in de bergen. Met een schitterend uitzicht. Ook voor het eten wordt gezorgd. De dochter kookt heerlijk. De accommodatie is een beetje lastig te vinden en je moet van smalle straatjes houden. Zeker als je verkeerd bent gereden, zoals wij. Het ontbijt is niet uitgebreid, maar voor ons voldoende Eigenlijk niets. Maar een kussen op de plastic ligbedden zou heerlijk zijn. Zonder ligt toch wel wat hard.

La vue est à couper le souffle, l’environnement est paisible. La piscine est bonne, et la bonne humeur du patron est au rendez-vous ! Les chambres sont assez spacieuses et très confortables, la climatisation marche très bien ! Le soir nous y étions tellement bien que nous n’avons pas eu envie de ressortir dîner ailleurs ! Ce qui nous a donné l’occasion de déguster la cuisine d’Emidio, simple, mais excellente ! Le petit déjeuner est du même acabit, copieux et varié, dégusté avec une vue splendide sur la baie de Naples ! On est pas loin du paradis !

Bien centré pour aller en voiture du côté de Pompéi ou sur la côte Amalfitaine. Emiddio est aux petits soins pour ses invités avec un service au top et de très bons conseils pour visiter les environs. La piscine est idéale pour se poser après les visites en sirotant un verre au soleil. Je conseille également vivement de manger sur place, Emiddio propose une cuisine maison variée et de qualité.

- Arcangelo (6/5): Foto bellissime - La struttura è un beb, senza infamia e senza lode, l'appellativo relais non è stato riscontrato durante il soggiorno, se non per la presenza di un panorama, data l'elevata posizione della struttura. Stanze piccole e minimal, bagni piccoli, un'unico cestino in bagno, assenza di un mini frigo bar, anche solo per tenere fresca l'acqua. Purtroppo nella scelta delle stanze sul configuratore, le foto si ripetono, mandando in confusione il cliente (così come è avvenuto con il sottoscritto). Il vero focus è però la posizione, in quanto, nonostante la mail di conferma con le istruzioni per raggiungere la struttura, avrei gradito, quasi obbligatoriamente, una specifica mail sull'eventuale mezzo da utilizzare per raggiungere la struttura, le parole "antica mulattiera" per identificare una strada, non rendono l'idea di come in realtà è, va specificato che per percorrere la suddetta strada vi sono ripide discese, salite, strada sdrucciolevole e sterrata, 1.5 km che si fanno a passo d'uomo in circa 9 minuti (documentato con video). La piscina è una classica piscina fuori terra in plastica con un rivestimento intorno. La colazione è si internazionale, ma molto basilare. Un plauso va alla gestione della struttura, gentilezza e cortesia non mancano mai.

- Andrea (10/5): Ein Aufenthalt, an den wir uns immer wieder gerne zurückerinnern - Wir haben selten solch herzliche Gastgeber wie Emiddio und seine Frau Laura erlebt. Sie kümmern sich rührend um die Gäste, haben aus dem schönen Häuschen mit Meerblick alles herausgeholt, was möglich ist. Die Zimmer sind sehr stilvoll und modern eingerichtet und auch der Pool lädt zum Entspannen ein. Ein Abendessen mit herrlichen Blick direkt auf's Meer können wir nur empfehlen, denn die Tochter der Gastgeber kocht hervorragend. Beim Frühstück bleiben keine Wünsche offen. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist mehr als fair, der Service ist außergewöhnlich und die Gastgeber arbeiten immer lösungsorientiert. Apropos "lösungsorientiert": Selbst ein Stromausfall in der gesamten Region brachte den Gastgeber nicht aus der Ruhe; wenn morgens zum Frühstück keine Musik läuft, dann wird eben live gesungen 😊 Kurzum: Ein absolutes Schmuckstück mit Blick auf den Golf von Neapel. Wir hätten uns für unsere Tage an der Amalfi-Küste keine bessere Unterkunft aussuchen können und wir kommen sehr gerne wieder! Dass wir nicht noch ein paar Tage mehr gebucht haben.

L’accès n’est pas facile, mais nous avions loué un Vespa, idéal pour visiter la côte amalfitaine. Du coup, aucun problème pour nous par cette petite route. Attention à ne pas arriver avec une grosse voiture (de toutes façon inappropriée pour visiter le coin, entre stationnement difficile et circulation dense)

- Vishal (10/5): Magical place to stay in. - Everything about this place is magical. Emiddio is a great host, who makes you feel at home even before you have checked in. The view from the BnB is worth the drive to the place. even the food there is amazing. For me, the best part was the female dog and her puppies and many cats Emiddio has at the place. Emiddio even helps you plan the day and suggests places which are not only great but only convenient for you. He'll arrange vehicles for you, in case you need it. Will surely be visiting Buena Stella next time in Italy.
- Jeroen (10/5): Vakantie zoals vakantie zou moeten zijn! - De gastheer Emiddio is op een ongedwongen manier zo klantgericht en laat je je helemaal thuis voelen. Niets is hem teveel en denkt met je mee en komt met opties om in de omgeving te kunnen ondernemen. Prachtig uitzicht en naast het ontbijt kan er in de avond een heerlijke maaltijd voor je worden gemaakt. Na een week gingen wij door met onze reis, maar besloten de laatste nacht voordat wij weer huiswaarts zouden keren te verblijven bij Buona Stella. Niet een hotel in Napels maar heerlijk van de locatie genieten en de service van Emiddio. Een absolute aanrader om hier enkele dagen te verblijven. Grazie mille Emiddio!!! De weg vanaf het dorp naar Buona Stella is even wennen en is gedeeltelijk een smal pad waarbij je hoopt geen tegenligger te treffen. Maar het went ook weer snel hoor. Niet door tegen laten houden. De locatie en uitzicht maken het meer dan ruimschoots goed.

- Rene (9/5): Geweldige locatie en de vriendelijkste Italiaan als gastheer. - De locatie met uitzicht is geweldig. Beter dan dit wordt het niet. De gastheer en vrouw zijn erg vriendelijk en staan direct voor je klaar. Het ontbijt is meer dan voldoende. Er is een zwembadje aanwezig, maar daar hebben wij geen gebruik van gemaakt. Wel de ligstoelen bij het zwembad. De weg naar boven is voor de eerste keer uitdagend (erg smal en vol kuilen en hobbels), maar de routebeschrijving die de gastheer heeft gegeven was prima. Daarna raak je snel gewend. Wij hebben de locatie gebruikt als uitvalsbasis voor de Amalfikust en Pompeï. Wij hadden de Economy kamer en die had 1 klein raampje zonder uitzicht. Dus vanuit deze kamer geen uitzicht. Verder was alles prima.

- Marina (10/5): Amazing - Mein Aufenthalt in dem Hotel war wunderschön. Die Hotelbesitzer sind super nett, zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Die Straße zum Hotel ist etwas holprig und eng, aber die Besitzer bieten jederzeit einen Fahrservice an, oder holen dich ab. Das Essen war wie wir es alle nannten : "amazing". Alles selbst gemacht und frisch zubereitet von der Tochter des Hotelbesitzers. Getränke kann man über eine App bestellen und werden dort hingebracht, wo man sich gerade befindet (Pool, Zimmer ...usw.) Wenn man fragen hat, zu den Städten oder Sehenswürdigkeiten bekommt man super Empfehlungen und ausführliche Erklärungen. Ich würde jederzeit immer wieder zurück in dieses Hotel kommen. Es war alles wunderbar. Da fällt mir nichts ein.

Das Abendessen war super lecker, abwechslungsreich und uns wurden jeden Abend Alternativen angeboten, die nicht auf der Karte stehen. Es gab auf Nachfrage sogar pflanzliche Alternativen zum Abendessen und Frühstück! Super schöne kleine gemütliche Unterkunft mit unkomplizierter Kommunikation via WhatsApp. Der Ausblick über die Berge und die Bucht ist wunderschön. Der Weg dahin ist allerdings sehr herausfordernd, steil und eng. Die Möbel auf der Terrasse waren defekt und es gab nur einen Stuhl für das Doppelzimmer. Gemütliche Lichter im Zimmer wären auch schön, es gab nur das große helle Deckenlicht.
- Linda (10/5): - Perfect verblijf met waanzinnig uitzicht/terras. Heerlijk "thuiskomen" na drukke dag sightseeing in alle rust! Gastheer Emmidio geweldig, zorgt voor comfort met lach en plezier...niets is teveel. Zijn dochter kookt verse, heerlijke gerechten en zijn vrouw verzorgt het ontbijt. Kamers top! AANRADER en hoop terug te keren. Niets. Wel beter met klein type auto want de weg ernaar toe is spannend...maar zo de moeite waard!
