The host was very friendly and has adopted three adorable cats, which added a warm touch to the stay. The room was decent—although it’s close to the roadside, the windows are soundproof, so it was still quiet at night. There’s a parking space available, which is convenient if you’re driving. Hot water was stable and the water pressure was strong, making showers comfortable.

• Camikka (10/5): Beautiful Mediterranean style Bnb room - Beauty Homestay was so cute and pretty. Our room was gorgeous, with cute Moroccan style tiles and decorations and a lovely sea green paint on 1 wall. The huge balcony is good for doing the waltz on. It is a short walk from the train station and eateries. They have 3 little cats that all have interesting personalities and you can tell the owners give them lots of love. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful. Everything was to our liking, we are so thankful for our stay here whilst we saw Taroko Gorge

• Yue-yun (9/5): Cost-effective but make sure you kill all the mosquitoes before the sleep. - Very cheap and good quality. The owner was really friendly as well, and there were three cute cats in the hostel. Recommend for ppl who has pets! There were quite a few mosquitoes in one of our rooms, so we had a really bad sleeping. But the other one didn’t have the problem.
• Maryna (8/5): Very good - It’s not far from the bus and train station. The owner is very friendly and helpful. We were able to check-in earlier as the room was ready. There are 3 cars and 2 hamsters :)

• K (10/5): Comfortable, clean, cosy - Lovely, clean, comfortable room with glass doors leading out onto a large roof terrace. Kettle and fridge were provided in the room and a water filter was on the first floor. Host was very friendly and gave us tea and loads of fresh fruit. The property has lots of stairs with no elevator (as is standard for many Taiwanese homestays), we were on the 4th floor which was no problem for us and our small bags, but it is worth noting for those with large bags and/or mobility issues. The location was a convenient 10 minute walk from the train station in a nice quiet area. I would very happily stay again.
