- Francien (6/5): Prima maar te duur en op onrustige plek - De kamer had een bad. Het personeel was vriendelijk. De kamer was ruim en modern. Het was voor ons op doorreis maar Nederland de ideale locatie. Het was naast het spoor, dus het raam kon ‘s nachts niet open. Het was daardoor erg warm in de kamer. We hadden gevraagd om een kamer met bad en waren er van verzekerd dat dit goed kwam maar toen we aankwamen bleek dit toch niet zo te zijn. Ook voor Zwitserland was het een erg dure kamer.

- Neville (10/5): Clean and convenient! - The building was well decorated, clean and modern. Parking bays were generously sized and easy to find. Close enough to walk into the main town centre. Staff were helpful and friendly. Only negative was no mini fridge to cool drinks, and some people might need to request a room away from the railway side, but the sounds didn’t bother me.

The property was exceptionally quiet and impeccably clean. Both the rooms and the restroom were spacious and offered ample privacy, even for a large group.

- Doug (10/5): A very good hotel in a very nice town. Compared to prices in Lucerne, a huge value. - The location was very convenient to the Sursee train station (6-7 minute walk)., and also convenient to the downtown. The hotel is modern and feels very new. The hotel staff is extremely kind and very helpful. All interactions with the staff were great. We were pleased with the breakfast was pretty good with a good selection. Sursee as a town felt like a town that "normal" Swiss people lived in and didn't feel like a tourist town (which we really enjoyed). At the three places in Sursee we ate at, we had great experiences and very good food. Sursee was about 17 minutes by train to Lucerne. Nothing really. As others have mentioned, the train tracks run next to the hotel. I noticed the noise the first night, with the windows open, but wore wax earplugs and slept well. After the first night, for the next four nights, because it was cooler, we slept with the windows closed and heard very little from outside the room. Our room was the closest room to the tracks in the hotel. I believe you could also run the room air conditioning with the windows closed and be fine.
