I’m a tall chap so probably the only one that will suffer with this however banged my head a few times around the property as well as the shower not being tall enough so I had to sit down to wash my hair. It could have used with more communal utensils such as a pair of sizers, wisk and spatula. Aside from that everything was great.

The entire building was spotless upon arrival, and all facilities and utensils were clearly labelled for information. The other residents were friendly and the building was at the end of the lively and beautiful high street. Car parking was available overnight immediately outside, or all day a short walk behind the church As advertised, the bathroom and toilet - while both private - were separate from the room. Not a problem, but may not be to everyone's taste

- Robyn (9/5): Very comfy, cosy and everything needed was provided. - Private bathroom across landing and down two steps from bedroom. Would have preferred ensuite however everything was very clean, bed comfortable and location is excellent with cafes, restaurants, shops etc all in walking distance. Knowing Tywyn, I found parking easily. NB: Lifeguard on duty is seasonal. During certain times: dogs are restricted to some areas of the beach. Advised to keep bathroom locked so a bit of nuisance having to lock/unlock whenever needed to use bathroom especially during the night when conscious the noise might disturbed my neighbours. Not a huge problem.

The room was comfortable everything needed kettle ,tea bags coffee ,milk sugar ,there is a kitchen downstairs with a fridge so all was great . NA

- NORMAN (8/5): Comfy, get some exercise up and down the stairs (!), spotlessly clean (and plenty of tea!). - Everything was fine in terms of 'living!' Not vitally important to me, but the TV controls left me totally baffled! I had to message the office because the sound was deafening and I couldn't turn it down! One of the Volume controls changed the TV station! After your person's attention when I was out, the TV was permanently on S4C, and wouldn't budge! Again, of little importance to me, but for an elderly couple, maybe, a bit of a nightmare! I've 'explored' remote combinations in my time, but this one ............... !

- Magdalena (9/5): Útulné bydlení, které rádi doporučíme - Tywyn je hezké přímořské letovisko a jsme rádi, že jsme tu sehnali bydlení. Pokojík je maličký, ale vše je dobře popsáno a vysvětleno. A tv má Netflix :-) Koupelnička je kapesního rozměru a z elektrikou poháněného odpadu a toalety to občas nemile zavane. Na pláž je to odsud poněkud daleko, na jednu ze stanic úzkokolejky (kam určitě musíte, kdýz jste tu s dětmi) naopak blízko.

Light switches were loose and screws exposed. Double plug sockets also lose and pull away from the wall. That would fail on a EICR inspection. Both taps are lose in the bathroom and spin when using

Will stay again! - We stayed in the family room which was comfortable and spacious with 2 bedrooms and had a fridge, microwave and kettle with complimentary tea/coffee in the room. There is use of a shared kitchen with cutlery and cooking utensils and an additional bigger fridge/freezer. The rooms were easy to find and in a great location for exploring.

Location is excellent, near take-aways and shops and short walk to steam railway (and main railway station). Someone stole my cereal packet from the cupboard! Not the establishments' fault though.

Perfect for longer stays. - Saint Cadfan's had great communication before I arrived, to set my expectations correctly and ensure there was no misunderstandings or disappointments. They also gave very clear check-in instructions. St Cadfan's is a "lodge" or "Guest House", in other words there was not an ensuite bathroom, but I did have a private bathroom right across the hallway. Similarly, it had an extremely well-equipped shared kitchen and dining room, which the other guests could use too. Each room had their own fridge space, pantry shelves, crockery, glasses etc etc. This was a great convenience and would be perfect for longer self-catered stays. It has a great location, about a 10 minute walk to the station, and close to a SPAR for supplies, as well as a great pub (Tredegar) and coffee shops, cafes and wine bars, and chinese, indian and pizza take-aways. The room, while small, was very comfortable and clean. Highly recommended. No complaints, it was all excellent.

FACED WITH SLEEPING UNDER THE STARS HAVING CYCLED 48 MILES I HAD TO PAY 320 POUNDS FOR ALTERNATIVE ACCOMMODATION BECAUSE OF THE LACK OF A HOST ON SITE. Room 7 not ensuite but this was no problem as just across hall and private shower room. Comfortable beds, towels and coffee/tea making facilities in room. We opted for small twin room 7 but plenty big enough for a few days. Easy pick up and drop off for keys. Much better than I expected. It was all good. Nothing negative to say

- Michael (9/5): My stay in Towyn/Tywyn was phenomenal, and highly recommendable to others wishing to visit. - The room and washroom were both well maintained and clean for when I first arrived. There was excellent space and accessibility to the kitchen appliances and storage. And, it was very close to the Talyllyn Railway - the highlight of my journey across Wales. My one grievance was that my visit was too short! (LOL!)

- Perry (8/5): Fantastic location, comfy beds and clean room. - Location, really comfy bed, cosy room. Extremely clean. Cannot fault the care that had obviously went into getting that room up to scratch. The electric toilet! I’m quite the early bird, but showering on the early morning would be out of the question if I had neighbours, as the use of the shower or sink makes the electric toilet flush constantly, and is quite loud when flushing!

- Richard (8/5): Very sad occasion for visiting so won’t go into details - No food at the address but three early morning café only 10 steps from front door. All very good food at very sensible prices.
- Clare (7/5): Nice to get away for the weekend to a very beautiful part of Wales - It was quiet and cosy, and very clean and tidy, and right in the middle of Tywyn, the kitchen is very well equipped and organised, and we got a very friendly call before we arrived to check what time we were arriving, friendly cleaning staff who were very efficient. Lovely place to stay overall. There was no warning about the poor access from rooms to bathrooms, which could be a problem for people expecting a room with own bathroom to be on same floor. The instructions for finding the Cadfans Annexe were out of date and a little confusing - the Old market Hall has been renamed the Retreat Cafe, for example, and the free parking mentioned in the instructions is actually pay and display - the beach parking is the only free parking in Tywyn, so instructions need to be updated. The lock and door to the bathroom for room 9, and the shower on/off dial, were very stiff, and difficult to use. The TV remote control in room 9 did not work well - the programme and volume buttons are reversed, and it is not possible to turn down the volume using the remote.

Bathroom short distance away from the main room but this was communicated to us prior to arrival so we were aware of this. Kitchen also well equipped with good seating area in separate room
