- Phillip (10/5): Incredibly comfortable and inviting B&B - Villa La Moresca is an incredibly fine B&B to base in on Montecatini-Alto. My room was spotlessly clean, large, well appointed and perfectly comfortable. The view out the large window to the landscapes below was spectacular. The common spaces, sitting room, a wonderful library, and breakfast room were inviting and relaxing and fine spots for conversation. Breakfast was excellent. The location was very convenient, a five minute walk to restaurants in the center I had zero problems

Superb location in Montecatini Alto with stunning views over the valley and just a short walk to restaurants and cafes. Owner and staff were exceptional- friendly, kind, made you feel right at home. I cannot rate this Villa highly enough - it is great value for money, you feel at home and well looked after from the moment you arrive until you leave. Will definitely be back! Śniadanie w ogrodzie, czytanie książki w pięknej bibliotece i delektowanie się muzyką w saloniku to na prawdę magiczne chwile. Czystość na najwyższym poziomie. Specjalne podziękowania dla Beatrice za serdeczny uśmiech, pyszne wypieki na śniadanie i pomoc w każdej sprawie :) Miasteczko bez tłumu turystów, z dobrymi restauracjami. Dobra baza wypadowa do zwiedzania Toskanii. Bezproblemowe samodzielne zameldowanie i wymeldowanie. Świetny kontakt z obsługą. Serdecznie polecamy :) Gdyby basen był trochę większy i z podgrzewaną wodą to byłoby idealnie :)

Small villa like structure from the end of the 1800s. Decorated w an eye to matching style and the holder Montecatini area. Great view of the valley below and in a walking distance to Montecatini Alto Staff very personable. Matar who helped us at check in and during our stay was very helpful an is an asset to the Moresca. Locating the Moresca not that easy on arrival. But communication w staff is helpful w providing direction. In addition the location is in the ZTL that is the no drive through zone but accessible to the clients nevertheless.

Breakfast lovely with home made bread, cakes and jam and lots of extras. The whole villa is extremely tastefully decorated and in keeping with the age and style of the property. Good local restaurants within a five minute walk. Ideally you do need to have a car to explore the area as the local funicular doesn't start until 09-00 but doesn't finish until 12 midnight.

- Colleen (10/5): - This B&B was SO much better than advertised. We were amazed by the attention to every detail, incredible views, charming town, delicious breakfast, and always helpful Luca. Transportation was a bit challenging at times (the location is high up in the hills with narrow twisty roads and no-traffic-zones), but the scenic landscape made the journey completely worth it. We used trains and the Funicolare for most of our needs, but Luca also had a taxi called and waiting for us whenever needed. We are in love and can’t wait to come back!
- Agus.i (10/5): The closest to staying in a small palace! - The ambiance of this place is certainly unique. It is quite, relaxing, and probably the most beautiful B&B we've ever been. The room is exquisitely decorated, but it also has everything you need for your stay. Breakfast was delicious!! It has mostly sweet options (the Italian style, of course!), but you'll also find eggs, bacon, and vegetables. Location is a bit far from the main visiting points, so a car is recommended, and it is easy to park just outside the hotel without cost or problems.

Our room had three floors which could be a problem if you are not able to walk on small steps. The swimming pool was to the small size but nice and clean. The hosts are discrete and the breakfast contains quality ingredients. A great place to take a step back from the noise and relax in a truly beautiful setting. The view from the villa is gorgeous and you have access to a terrace, to a pool and parking area. Do not miss it!

Lucca is a spectacular and kind host - he prepares almost the entire breakfast by himself, he spoils his guests with homemade bread, focaccia, tartes, homemade jams, etc. The rooms and the villa were decorated with a lot of attention to detail. The garden (with the pool) and the terrace are just wonderful! You can enjoy a spectacular view of Montecatini. I travelled with a friend, we both were most impressed with everything! - Olga (10/5): Astonishing villa and a wonderful stay - The villa is absolutely astonishing. We liked each and every corner of it. It is a boutique villa for 4 rooms only, with common areas such as two salons and a library, as well as a dining room. All rooms are so beautifully furnished! It could be seen that it took a lot of work and love to create such a space. There are also outside tables in the garden as well as an outside pool area with a view over the Montecatini Terme. Villa is located on the hill, so the view to the city located down in the valley is awe-inspiring, especially in the evening. Our big thank you to the staff operating the villa (Beatrice, Matar and a cleaning seniora) - we were very well taken care of. We would love to return very soon. If you travel by car, this is a quiet and relaxing location between Florence and Pisa. We liked everything and really enjoyed our stay. Our room was amazing. The moment we entered, we decided to prolonge our stay for another night. As a small suggestion, it would be great to have a little vegetables for breakfast.

The owners attitude blaming booking.com for us not getting the room we booked. The owner is rated as a helpful person he treated us disrespectfully. You could tell a dog had been in the room. We like animals but to see dog hair and a dirty top cover on the bed was distasteful. We had to leave early due to family illness and he did not offer any form of support. The owner kept saying if we booked direct it would be different ??? I’ve never experienced this with any bookings in the past.

- Muammer (10/5): Relaxing holiday in an authentic Italian villa - We really liked the villa and how well it was decorated. Everything was so special and carefully curated. Breakfast was amazing and you had variety of sweet and savoury options. Pool is nice as well, they have even provided towels, sun cream and pillows. The hotel is also 5 min. away from the finuculare which will connect you to the Montecatini Centro. They also offer free water and coffee! I enjoyed everything
- Siobhan (8/5): Very good - Fantastic breakfast, pool, view, villa furnishings and host, Lucca. Mostly a very enjoyable stay. The only potential drawback but not a major issue is the empty, hotel building next door.

- Hilary (10/5): Loved it - I had a brilliant time staying at Villa Moresca in Montecatini Alto. Not only is this hilltop palace gorgeous, with stunning views and delicious food, but Luca is an amazing host. He has excellent suggestions and is super helpful - you can message him on WhatsApp for advice and tips. The villa is a short walk to a piazza of bars, restaurants and a local shop - plus the funicular train down into Montecatini Terme (Terme Tettucio is a must see).
- Jackelyn (10/5): - This property was adorable. The owner was so nice and even drove us into town in his own vehicle for dinner because it was pouring down rain. Breakfast was delicious. It was a typical European breakfast but it was so good. The room was a decent size with a private bathroom and was decorated so cute. The only down side is that it is a bit of a trek from the train station so we hired a cab. The views are probably spectacular because it's on top of the hill but it was too foggy to see. We absolutely loved this place! 10/10 would recommend!

- Michael (10/5): Easy to get to. Well worth the trip! - It was amazing. The property is extraordinay. A grand old dame meticulously maintained. The host, Luca, was just perfect. Helpful and obliging. We were there in Suite Puccini for three nights and we loved it. The home made breakfast was wonderful. Everything here is quality. The restaurants in the town square ( walkable) were unbelievable especially Cafe Giusti (closed Wednesdays). We spent one day at Grotta Giusti enjoying the hot springs and cave. (We went by funiculare, then taxi). We would definitely go back.

Excellent hospitality, made to feel relaxed and welcome. The breakfasts were exceptional, with freshly baked homemade bread and pastries every morning. Nothing was too much trouble and they have thought of everything to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. N/a

He home makes all the food and it was all delicious, tarts, omelette, cakes, fruit salad everything amazing. the view fantastic, the location perfect. just a short stroll in to Montcatini Alto village where the restaurants are the pool was a life saver on Itaks 38 degree summer days. It was superb decorated and I wish I had months to laze around in the beautiful lounge room and library and garden nothing. 10/10 for everything
