- Eric (10/5): Semaine agréable à un prix abordable - Le seul point négatif est l'absence de barres d'appui dans la salle de bain. La chambre était de bonne taille et le nettoyage quotidien était excellent.
- Verena (10/5): - Der Check-in verlief zügig und sehr freundlich. Das Haus sowie die Zimmer sind relativ neu renoviert und präsentieren sich daher in einem guten Gesamtzustand. Das Bett könnte für zwei Personen etwas größer sein, ist aber für einen kurzen Aufenthalt vollkommen ausreichend. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das Personal, das stets freundlich, zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit ist. Die hauseigene Bar ist eine klare Empfehlung, sowohl für ein gemütliches Frühstück als auch für einen kleinen Snack – die Qualität ist hervorragend, und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis absolut fair. Wer ein familiäres, lokales Ambiente einem standardisierten Hotel vorzieht, sollte unbedingt im Hostal Roig übernachten. Die Gastgeber, die auch die Bar betreiben, verkörpern echte Gastfreundschaft. Ein weiterer Pluspunkt: Die Altstadt ist bequem zu Fuß erreichbar, und das kostenfreie Parken direkt vor dem Haus ist ein echter Vorteil.

- Luca (8/5): - Hostal a gestione famigliare umile ma confortevole, staff gentile proiettati all'attenzione del cliente. Camere pulite a cadenza giornaliera. Ottima la colazione è anche l'almuerzo! E situato a metà strada dal porto è dal centro storico antico, a piedi una 20 min. circa. Si parcheggia nella strada di fronte oppure nelle vicinanze. Ci sono supermercati a 4 min. è ristoranti nelle vicinanze.
- Lisa (10/5): My favourite place to stay - This is a clean, quiet hostel ideal for a base while visiting Javea. Very reasonable, lovely friendly staff. A 10-15 minute stroll to the beach. Near to Lidl, McDonalds, restaurants. A night club is near for the later night activities but this does not disturb your sleep. I am happy to recommend this hostel

- Lisa (10/5): Exactly what I needed for a very reasonable price - It was exactly what I needed. Great value. Local to the town, beach and bus centre. Lidls and McDonalds are within a five minute walk. This time of year it is very quiet at night other than the occasional car or motorbike. And very reasonable in price. I am coming back in July.

- Angelika (10/5): - Für den Preis war die Unterkunft hervorragend . Das Zimmer war groß, sehr sauber, hatte alles, was man für einen Aufenthalt braucht, sogar einen kleinen Schreibtisch. Die Umgebung war sehr ruhig, aber genau zwischen Strand und Stadt gelegen. Man konnte beides gut zu Fuß erreichen.

We did not speak Spanish, but they were very patient and offered a good recommendation for dinner. Super clean; comfortable beds and bath. The small balcony was vert enjoyable in the mornings and evenings. A nice continental+ breakfast was offered for 4.5 euros.
- Gordon (8/5): Clean comfortable unpretentious hotel - This is an unpretentious hotel with clean comfortable basic rooms (TV for example but no kettle). Our room had a small balcony. The shower is a standard size but the water pressure is amazing! The breakfasts are simple and cheap. When we left we asked for sandwiches to be made up and found when opened that they had included olives and peanuts 👍. There's a lift. The bar by the way is only open till midday.

- Cristina (10/5): Excelente hostal - La habitación con terraza en la que estuve me sorprendió para bien, muy limpia y luminosa, además que la cama es muy amplia y cómoda. A su vez, cuenta con una cafetería por las mañanas en las que tomar un buen desayuno completo a un buen precio, el cual estaba riquísimo y el camarero súper agradable y simpático. Además podíamos encargar bocadillos para comer por la cala a la que fuéramos. Y lo más importante, su localización, que es muy buena, con supermercados cerca, el centro de Jávea al lado y en un paseo se puede visitar el puerto, y en un sitio estratégico para visitar cualquier cala o lugar turístico a pocos kilómetros. Sin duda, si vuelvo a Jávea repetiré en el hostal Roig 53

- Michael (8/5): Good hotel and location in Javea (Xabia) - The hotel is located in a quiet area and you would need a car to get to the beach and other places nearby. Parking is very easy and free. Parking close to the town centre and beach is also free in most areas. The Montgo park is close by and well worth a 15 minute drive for the spectacular views from near Cap Antonio lighthouse. Denia is also close by. A much larger town but also worth a visit. Breakfast at the hotel is typically spanish. Very cheap, with friendly service and also popular with non residents. I would be happy to stay there again.

The area is nice and offers beautiful views of the surroinding mountains. We stayed in the hostal for 2 nights and had a fine time. The place is clean and in good condition. Price/value was therefore satisfactory.
