Desayuno normal. Nos dejaron entrar antes, es de agradecer. Para lo que costó la habitación, al ser interior, y sin ninguna vista, no merece la pena y hay alojamientos mejores y más económicos. Una de las toallas tenían manchas antes de usarla, nos dio igual y no dijimos nada, está lavada, pero leímos en la habitación que si tú la manchas, la pagas extra,

The staff was absolutely amazing. We had a private cruise around the islands, delicious breakfasts every morning and a fabulous gourmet dinner the evening before we left.

Mayhew1955 (5/5): Mixed feelings, it's nice but not worth the price - It's nice but for the price we were paying we expected a different level of accommodation. We had a family sized-room with a glass-walled bathroom, it's just not suitable for teenagers to have a shower in front of their parents and everybody I know wants a little privacy when going to the toilet. There are little signs everywhere in the room, including some that turn up on the second day : take your litter with you ; don't bring food and drink into the room ; wash off your sunscreen before using our towels... It makes you feel unwelcome. Closing the pool at 5 pm is bizarre, it would have been nice to be able to go for a dip at the end of the day. Finally, the price of extras at the end of our stay was surprising. For example, having bought a plate of salad each we were offered some watermelon at the end of the meal, we didn't ask how much but we never imagined it would be 5€ each.

It’s clean, absolutely beautiful, the pool was a nice touch have and the service went above and beyond! Would definitely stay here again and recommend to all! If you can’t do steep steps that would be the only negative.

Leonard (10/5): Quirky little B&B right on the water with a charming and welcoming hostess. - Maria was a delightful hostess who made the stay comfortable and welcoming. We had a fabulous roomy balcony that looked out to the sea below. The bed was a bit hard and squeaky.

Angela (9/5): Everything we wanted and more. Fantastic hosts and an incredible view! - What a magical seven-day stay we had. We were in the room Amarea, which had a huge balcony looking straight towards Lipari, with the Santa Marina Salina harbour entrance to the left. It was so relaxing to sit on the chairs, or lie on the sun lounge, and watch the boats coming and going, or see the distant lighthouse of Lingua bathed in sunset light. The bed looked straight out the balcony doors, so that was a really magical way to start the day, watching the colours change while still relaxing. Breakfast was served downstairs in the poolhouse, and each day there was a homemade savoury option like pana conzato, cheese and tomato toasted pastries etc, as well as sweet choices such as delicious cakes, brioche or croissants, and cereal etc. The bathroom was a good size with a great shower. A lovely tiled floor and enough storage options for clothes rounded out the room. The host Maria is fantastic - full of life and great stories - and we loved chatting with Romina at breakfast. The B&B location is outside the town, on the way to Lingua, which meant walking a lot but we loved that. It was a 35-min walk to Lingua (which has some great restaurants) on a coastal road, and a 15-min walk to Santa Marina Salina. We were provided with beach towels, and you can swim in the ocean directly below the building, with a ladder access into the water from a harbour wall. Lovely clear water! We really can't think of many things wrong with our week here! The pool area is a little cramped, but they plan to make the area around the pool bigger, so that will be nice when that happens. The above-ground pool was a bit too cold for us to swim in, but it has a lovely view of the ocean and harbour. Make sure you have some kind of light source when walking at night, as the streets aren't so well lit (which isn't a problem if you're prepared). If you have mobility issues, there are very steep stairs in the house to access the three rooms upstairs, plus stairs or sloped paths around the building.
Stuart (9/5): worth it for the view alone - the room and staff were excellent. i would definitely stay here again. a little bit tricky to find the entrance in the small streets (even with google maps) but no big deal.

Imee (10/5): Absolutely wonderful, would stay here again! - The location was excellent, a short walk from the port and the main part of the town for restaurants and shopping in a quiet location. Our room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Breakfast every morning was excellent (the freshly baked apple cake was so delicious!), and the host family and staff were all really helpful and friendly. We would definitely stay here again (for longer and in a room with a terrace next time) and will happily recommend this property to any of our family and friends who visit Santa Marina Salina in the future.
