• Axel (6/5): Einfache aber gute Unterkunft mit netten und bemühten Gastgebern. - Sehr freundliche Eigentümer, die sich sehr um die Gäste bemühen. Der allg. Zustand der Aussenanlagen war noch im Winterschlaf zum Besuch am 25-27.4. und entsprechend nicht sehr einladend.

The place has a very relaxed atmosphere which is passed on the the residents creating this very friendly stay. If available I wouldn't stay anywhere else. It would have been better if I could have stayed longer.😎

• Alex (10/5): An oasis - Jolanda and Hans are the kindest hosts and this is a little paradise with plenty of communal space to enjoy a relaxing time. We really appreciated having a separate and safe area to store our bikes being close to town to walk / drive to plenty of restaurants. We can’t wait to return.

• Peter Sperber (10/5): - Wir waren zum Wandern in der Region und hatten wirklich wunderschöne Tage im Buena Idea. Die Unterkunft liegt mitten in der Natur und bietet eine hervorragende Aussicht. Dennoch erreicht man in nur wenigen Gehminuten das charmante Xaló, wo es viele gute und gemütliche Restaurants gibt. Das Frühstück war exzellent. Auch am Nachmittag konnten wir wunderbar im schönen Garten oder der gemütlichen Lodge entspannen. Da wir im Februar dort waren, war es nachts etwas kühl – umso schöner war es, den Abend bei einem Glas Wein vor dem Kamin ausklingen zu lassen. Wer die Natur liebt, ist hier genau richtig. Auch für Rennradfahrer oder ganze Teams ist die Unterkunft ideal, da es einen speziellen Raum mit professionellen Fahrradständern und Werkzeug gibt, in dem die Räder nachts sicher eingeschlossen werden können. Die Eigentümer sind zudem sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und können die Unterkunft wärmstens empfehlen!

Jolanda and Hans are such a warm and attentive hosts who make your stay truly memorable.

• S. (9/5): Een plek om naar terug te keren - De gastvrijheid, hartelijkheid en persoonlijkheid van Hans en Jolanda. Een B&B met passie en zorgzaamheid. De persoonlijke 'touch' is hartverwarmend. Eigenlijk niets. De beschrijving is duidelijk, dus je weet wat je verwachten kunt qua accomodatie.

Después de estar en Barcelona con todo el ritmo de ciudad fue una idea excelente estar en Buena Idea, paz y relajación. Lo recomiendo 100%. Plus : El desayuno era muyyyyy rico! Recomiendo 100% que pidan el cafe 70/30, que es la especialidad de Hans. Saludos

• Kristin (10/5): Wonderful B&B - we will return! - Very friendly hosts are taking good care of this little paradise in Xalo. Spacious, lush, with several places to sit and enjoy the view of mountains and vineyards. We loved to hang out by the pool in the afternoons with some refreshments from the honesty bar. Nice breakfast area as well, and the breakfasts were a delight. The location was perfect - we could use our tiny Brompton bikes to explore the area. A short trip through vineyards towards Lliber, and a supershort trip also to get to the Xalo town. Jolanda also drove us to Benigembla so we could explore Vall de Pop from town to town. Thank you! Breakfast yummy. The town of Jalon is 20 mins walk along a main road. We will def return thank you for having us and being so lovely xx

• Britt (10/5): Perfect for relaxation and sightseeing in a very rural, beautiful area with very tentative hosts - I came for peace of mind, and a place with personal service. what I got was a small town, a bed-and-breakfast within walking distance to the Tiny center, exceptional rural areas to exercising in, an hour and a half away Alicante with two owners who bend backwards to give you what you want. The property was well-maintained, clean, beautiful and relaxed, with everything I needed and more. I personally enjoyed the personal service. I felt the close relationship that existed because I invited it, I felt I could ask them anything I wanted, and they would help me. They provided great advice on where I could visit, and gave me great ideas about how to pass my days. Truly, everything I needed for both physical exercise, sightseeing, and total relaxation. On the evenings, I both ate out and provided food for myself from the local supermarket. I had a rental car and moved around on my own. It was really a good experience. The breakfast was lovely, in an outdoor setting. I also enjoyed the rare occasion of receiving a massage from a woman who could be ordered at the time when I was here. There really is nothing that I can say negatively about this property, the owner is will do their upmost to give you the best experience you can have.

Mesh on room windows bonus for keeping insects out .Also A/C been fitted. Not keen on the small bath & shampoo sachets. But that's just me prefer to have a dispenser.

• Sharon (10/5): Fantastic stay. We had bikes with us and found amazing cycling right from the front door! - Our hosts were warm and welcoming and provided delicious and healthy breakfasts. The community room was comfortable- we liked the honor system for beer, wine and snacks. The gardens, pool area and little seating nooks were very inviting.

They had so many suggestions for places to eat and things to do. the nearby town is very clean and friendly and historical. There is a pool on the grounds but we did not use it. The wifi was fast and strong. Breakfast was yummy- be sure to order the house specialty The room was a touch small, so with our suitcases it was hard to manuever around. No aircon- but none needed at our visit- I can imagine it could get quite hot in the summer though

• Heather (9/5): Far, far more than a B and B - Buena Idea proved to be a fantastic stay, on so many levels. The general ambiance was so peaceful and relaxing. The owners were very friendly and helpful. They booked a table for us for each of our four nights in nearby restaurants. All the meals were delicious but we particularly enjoyed Aromas - one of the best meals we’ve had in a long time! The fact that Jolanda and Hans both spoke excellent English was such a benefit for us too, coming from Ireland. There are plenty of sunbeds and chairs and seating areas for guests to enjoy some time in the sun. There is an ‘honesty box’ with drinks provided. The swimming pool was fantastic. The location is great too - in the beautiful countryside yet convenient to many places of interest. We really couldn’t recommend it highly enough. Not a thing.
