• Marta (10/5): Exceptional stay in the rooftop apartment - We had an exceptional stay in the rooftop apprtment. The terase is the highlight of this appartment, but the rooftop apt has also a lovely and fully equiped kitchen and also comfortable beds. The guesthouse is only few meters away from the Dongdaemun station, it’s really convinient! Wish I could stay longer. The staff of the guesthouse was communicating very fast and they helped us with everything. We could store our luggagge in the guesthouse before and after our stay, which was really helpful! Everything was great. The bathroom is small, for some people it would be uncomfortable to shower there, because you can shower only in front of the sink, but we managed just fine.
• Chiara (10/5): cozy - the property is in a spot that is well connected to multiple metro lines, so it’s ideal for anyone that wants to explore the whole city. the room was small but super cozy and there are multiple facilities available for guests use. plus there are many cats (which is always appreciated)!!!!

• Ngoc (9/5): Perfect first impression at Seoul - Not sure when did the guest house open but all the facilities were so clean and tidy, the owner and staff keeping them well. The location is just few steps to the MRT station, which allow you to access everywhere around Seoul, it also just 10-15 mins walk to the Gwangjang market, so convenient. Guest house was built with double layers windows and located in the alley so it’s super quiet. We had very good sleep.

Central location within Seoul that was easy to travel around in Seoul Small space in the room. More clothes hanging and storage shelves could be added instead of having a TV.

• Gui Feng (8/5): - 離東大門地鐵站非常近，走路不用三分鐘。 毛巾、牙刷、垃圾袋可自行拿取。 有提供飲水機，冷熱水都有。 房間非常小，只足夠攤開一個行李箱。 沒有電梯，入住時是老闆跟員工幫我們扛行李箱到三樓的房間，但退房時，是我們自己扛下來，因為行李變很重，所以滿吃力的。

Check in was easy with the owner, who kindly carried my suitcase up the stairs and shared info about the guesthouse. • Mo Shaban (8/5): - Our stay was really good, the staff were super kind and attentive, during my stay I was not feeling well and they kindly guided me to visit a local doctor. The neighborhood is really central, close to the metro stop and 7-11. Also walking distance to the market. The rooms are pretty small but that's the Korean standard, during our stay in Korea we tried several hotels and this is the standard there.
• FANG YU (7/5): 整體來講還是蠻舒適的，很像回到自己家。 - 1. 地點就在地鐵站旁邊很方便，而且過馬路就能搭機場巴士真的超讚！附近也有Doota商場、小攤販、清溪川可以走走。往東廟那邊走有很多商店可以買水果或零食！公車站也不遠，不管去哪裡都非常方便。 2. 有可愛的貓咪（是住宿附近的浪浪）、可以自由使用飲水機跟各種廚具。 3. 床偏硬但蠻好睡的，室內空調只能用冷氣，但是因為有地暖+氣密窗的關係，冬天在房間內也不會冷，可以直接穿短袖的程度。 4. 退房後可以寄放行李，回來取行李時還可以坐在公共區域的沙發休息一下。 5. 可以自己拿用品、換新毛巾。跟老闆有附翻譯機器人的聊天室很棒，有任何問題都可以隨時提出，回覆很快。 1. 隔音有點差，這次入住一樓的房間，跟公共區域同一層，只要有人退房就會聽得到動靜。尤其我的房間在洗衣機隔壁，基本上八點半以後其他房客退房完就會開始運轉洗衣機，沒辦法睡太晚。（不過退房時間是11:00） 2. 平常晚上12點前也會聽到每一班地鐵從地下經過的聲音，但我覺得還可以接受。12點後非常非常安靜，要把握00:30-8:30這段黃金睡覺時間（除非其他房客更早起）。 3. 廁所非常小間，沒有乾濕分離，不過設備齊全。冰箱是放在公共空間，房間內沒有，但有提供房號貼紙可以貼在自己的物品上。

• YOKO (9/5): 快適! - ロケーションが最高でした。スタッフのレスポンスも早く、急な予定変更の連絡のやり取りもスムーズでした。 ①バスタブが無いこと。ただ韓国はそれが普通なので納得しています。毎日チムジルバンへ自転車で行っていました。 ②エレベーターがないこと。最上階だったので心配でした。到着時はスタッフさんが4階まで運んでくれてとても助かりました。帰りは早朝だったため自分たちで下ろしました。買い物をたくさんしていたので、大変でした。でもまたここに泊まりたいです。なぜなら、そこさえ頑張れば、駅は近いし、バス停も近いし、レンタサイクルも近い。コンビニも近い。 ③掛け布団がもう1枚欲しかった。

• Stuart R (9/5): Excellent place to stay in Seoul - Quiet, comfortable room with everything required. Dongdaemum is a very pleasant neighbourhood. I was later arriving than I'd advised but the host was very friendly and helpful when I finally turned up. Like many non-Koreans, I wasn't sure about having the bathroom double as the shower but it all worked out well.

• Rebecca (10/5): Comfortable room - Very comfortable room in a great location (2 minutes from metro). I liked the heated floors and thick curtains. There was also a nice view from my room. There is a kitchen guests can use and it has an espresso machine and cold water dispenser.

• Douglas (9/5): - The place was very clean and orderly. Beds come with two comfortable pillows. There is free coffee, tea, and place for a fridge. We arrived as a family and so we had various rooms. The Suite upstairs comes with a fully functional kitchen and even a mini-washing machine. For everyone else, a washing machine is available from 2-10 pm with clothing rods to hang up the clothes afterwards. The workers and owners were both very accommodating. I witnessed the owner and worker eating a meal together as well, which reflects well on how the hotel is run. I plan to return in the future. The room we booked on the main floor was a bit damp, even when we did not use the shower. This was in mid-October but the weather was unseasonably warm. Perhaps a small dehumidifier would be helpful for the lower rooms. If there were such devices available, perhaps a sign indicating towards its availability would be helpful too.

• Kathleen (10/5): Great accommodation! Great service! Great location! - We stayed in the suite on the top floor and LOVED it! Everything we needed was there so we did not use any of the shared facilities. There was a kitchen, a mini washer in the bathroom and a lovely outdoor space where you could lounge and see the city wall. The staff was so helpful, and communications were clear. The guesthouse is just steps from the metro entrance with convenience stores right around the corner, and an AMAZING gimbap shop a few doors down. Dongdaemun Market was right across the street, and a short block away was Cheonggyecheon Stream and DDP. This neighborhood felt less touristy, and the neighborhood kitties were so cute :) 100% would stay here again! This did not bother us, but be prepared to use the stairs if you stay in the suite. The host happily helped us with our luggage.

• Christine (10/5): Sehr gut 👍, ich würde es wieder buchen - Das Guesthouse ist sehr sauber , ruhig und doch ist man mitten drin. Gute Verkehrsanbindung, 2 Minuten zur UBahn und Seven 11 Shop um die Ecke 👍 Ich fühlte mich sicher , Außenbeleuchtung war prima ! Auch wenn ich mal um 12.00 Uhr nachts nach Hause kam. Koreanisches Bad , war für mich kein Problem . Alle waren sehr rücksichtsvoll und leise . Das Zimmer könnte für 2 Personen zu klein sein.
• Melissa Luz (9/5): Great hostel for small groups with excellent location - The property is literally a few steps away from the subway entrance, it is very convenient. The rooms are spacious and the linen is clean, the keyless check in and check out is also very convenient and efficient. Value for money especially for travelers who are always out anyway. The airport bus pickup point is also across the street, so no need to haul luggage in the trains. There are also good spots to explore along the main road, including a street food night market. Shower could be more spacious but it’s not a dealbreaker.

• sandrine (8/5): - La Salle de déjeuner est sympa et le café excellent. On se sent bien. Nous avons apprécié le calme alors que nous étions en plein centre ville. On a vite récupéré le décalage horaire. Le lieu est vraiment central et permet de découvrir facilement la ville. La chambre est minuscule quand on y est à 3. Heursement nous avons donné notre petite valise à ma fille sinon nous n’aurions pas pu bouger. La sdb est aussi microscopique mais suffit. Je dirais qu’à 2 c’est top mais à 3, il ne faut pas de grosses valises.

• Kaori (8/5): 一人旅に最適のゲストハウス。 - 地下鉄東大門駅10番出口からすぐというロケーションが素晴らしい。近くにはコンビニや、24時間営業の食事所があり、非常に便利。 部屋は広くはなくとも、シャンプー、トイレットペーパー、タオル、エアコンなど一通りの設備が整っていて、コーヒーがフリー。 1階にはキッチンがあるので、長期滞在にもよさそう。 オーナーさんはこちらの質問に丁寧に答えてくれて、不安はなかった。 強いて言うなら、トイレのすぐ横がシャワー。シャワーカーテンはあるけど、ちょっと使いにくい。

• Lauren (9/5): Superb - Great location! Only a short walk to the subway station. Staff are friendly and responsive. Lots of cute cats hanging around. Room is very clean. Room was a little small, great for a single traveller, but would be very cramped for two people. Aircon was very loud and might be on its last leg. Bed and pillow was very firm.

I saw differences in my hair in comparison to other places I stayed in. The people there are super welcoming and helpful. The bed and sheets and pillows were of GREAT quality.I love their place so much. I will definetely come back!!! The subway and bus station is super close, 2 min walk. Even the airport bus station is very close. The terrace outside is perfect for smokers and the kitchen facilities are amazing. I wish they had a dryer because for many days to stay you need to quickly wash and dry your clothes. However there s a 24h wash and dry store a few min walk away so everyone should be fine with it. I d still come back 100%

• Sophia (10/5): Highly recommend, central, safe and spotless! - It truly felt like home away from home. Safe, impeccably clean, amazing amenities and such a forthcoming host! I will defenitley return :) The location is amazing, right at Dongdaemun metro and so many buses, incl tge night busses and airport bus. Convenience store right around the corner. And it has windows! Not a given when booking a room in Seoul. Its set in a calm back alley, for breakfest I would righly recommen Cafe Est 50 m around the corner! I loved everything. You need to get used to the shower as a European, as it floods the whole bathroom. That’s a typical shower set up in korea. But they even provide slippers.

Quiet at night and the air conditioning worked well The bathroom and shower are one room, which is common in Korea but it does get a mid damp and slippery on the bathroom floor. But they do provide additional towels which help dry it up after !

• Maryam (9/5): Comfortable, clean and convenient. - I love the cleanliness! No outside shoes allowed in the property. The room and bathroom was super clean. The AC worked perfectly. The owners were also super sweet during our interactions. The cats indoors were the cherry on top. Location wise, it’s just outside the train exit. It has a lot of stairs so if you need a lift/escalator it’s across the road. Still very convenient. Overall will highly recommend. I hope to come back and stay here in the future! The washing machine is available only between 2-10pm. It was a bit difficult since that’s prime time to be out and about. I ended up doing more handwashing of my clothes in the bathroom. An upside is that there’s a lot of space to hang your clothes. If you’re not planning on doing laundry, it’s not a minus point at all.

• Ching-yu (8/5): Very good - Really great location in Dongdaemun, super close to the metro station and a good center point to get to popular areas like Anguk, Seongsu, Myeongdong, etc. Being able to do laundry was really nice (though do note that there's no dryer). The house cats are absolutely adorable. Walls are definitely not soundproof, but luckily all neighboring guests were very respectful with their volume. At times the TV wouldn't work (server connection issues), but it wasn't too big of a deal.

• Amaka (7/5): It was a pleasant stay. Staff were really helpful, and the Wi-Fi worked. - There was no breakfast. If there was, no one told me about it. There was always coffee which was fantastic. The guesthouse is a really good location. A minute walk away from Exit 10 of Dongdamun Station. The room was very basic. We were living out of a suitcase. The signage to the guest house could be more visible, as it cannot be seen from the main road, and people could very easily miss the place to turn in.

It was fine for us on 2F with not too much luggage. The coffee machine in the kitchen is great. The water dispenser and fridge on each floor are super handy. Local neighbourhood area, nice contrast of new and old architecture. Convenient to transport.

The hosts are very helpful and it was a wonderful place to return to at the end of each day. Loved the cats in the guesthouse.

The room and bathroom are pretty tight, which was fine for us since we spent most of the time visiting anyway, might be an issue if you are looking for something more confortable or if you have a big luggage since there is no wardrobe.
• Xi (9/5): Safe, comfortable stay for solo traveller - Big and spacious room, staff was also friendly and it is convenient that everything was locked using keypads. Location is also amazing, right in front of Dongdaemun station! Would have been nice to be able to wear my shoes into the room, but it is a small issue that didn't bother me much. Also it is a bit hard for a taxi to stop in front of the hotel, I had to walk across to the JW Marriott to be picked up sometimes.
• Ahmed (10/5): Excellent, great value for money - The location is perfect for visiting seoul, the staff is very friendly and the property is super clean More organizers for clothes and bathroom in the room would be great since it is very small
