- Aaron (10/5): The most hospitable stay I’ve had in Japan. Staff were kind and professional. - Location was pretty. Room and onsen were clean as was expected. Staff went to extra effort to be hospitable. Would recommend for older people (don’t order a traditional room if you don’t want to sleep on futons) although there was a slight language barrier if you don’t speak Japanese. Also recommend to climbers who don’t want to stay at a hostel or in van. The onsen was very hot but open air so you could sit out of it. Breakfast was healthy with interesting flavours. No restaurants nearby. A little confusing and potentialy dangerous to walk in the are as there aren’t many footpaths. However they did have a shuttle bus (didn’t have internet on phone consistently to organize).
- HIROSHI (5/5): 少しお高めでした。 - 部屋が広くて料理が美味しかったこと。 食後のデザートが良かった。 駐車場が近くにあったが狭いので乗り降りが出来ない。部屋が5階迄あり部屋数と宿泊人数によってはエレベーターが狭い為乗れない、ベビーカーや荷物があると1人家族でいっぱいになり階段を使うが下まで降りるのにローカん歩き又階段を使わなければフロントに降りる事が出来ない。

- MOE (10/5): 日本らしい暖かみのあるホテル - とにかく朝も夜もご飯がとっても美味しくて、ボリュームもあって最高でした！あとは、温泉のシャワーヘッドがリファで揃えられているのもすごく良かったです。 スタッフの方も皆さんとても親切で丁寧で、気持ちの良い挨拶をしてくださり二泊の連泊でしたがとっても居心地が良かったです。お部屋も綺麗で普通に広かったです！ 温泉内にサウナがない

- Barry (9/5): Old fashioned hotel in the nicest possible way. Food not to be missed. - Quite a difficult hotel to describe. It is on multiple levels and somewhat labyrinthine but it has a charm of its own and the staff were cheery, very friendly and helpful. They even organised an early station shuttle for us on the morning of our departure. The food was amazing and so beautifully presented. Close to the Gozaisho Ropeway which should not be missed Can't think of anything.

- Verified traveler (10/5): 期待値以上のいい旅でした - 私が訪問したときは、日本人の子連れ家族が多かったです。ロビーでの夏祭りイベント（祭りの出店みたいにいくつかの遊びが用意されていました。射的とか）があったからかもしれません。我が家はそういう事前情報はないまま、たまたまこの宿に決めたのですが、こどもたちがすごくエンジョイしていて、ラッキーでした。 ウェルカムドリンクにお茶かワインが選べたり、フリードリンクバーのサービスがあったり、夕食後のドルチェバーがあったりと、至れり尽くせりでした。部屋にウォーターサーバーが置いてあるのも地味に有り難かったです。 屋上テラスで、のんびりと山の緑を見て、自然の音を聞いてリラックスもできました。 近くの御在所ロープウェイで山頂まで行って景色を楽しむこともでき、期待値以上の旅行になりました。御在所岳の険しい山道をのぼっている人の姿や、野生の鹿の姿もたくさん見られました。 基本、自然以外に何もない場所なので、日本人にオススメの場所です。

Onsen was beautiful indoors and out. Keiko dinner had plenty of options and was both traditional and dynamic. Service was extremely gracious and after dinner dessert buffet in the lounge was really impressive.

- Trinidad (10/5): - We had the halfboard option which means dinner and bfast the next day included. We sure glad we did, dinner n bfast was awesome service and we enjoyed the traditional japanese food a lot. Staff were 5star service. The place is very conducive to rest and relaxation. Onsen was 2thumbs up. We didnt know until after that hotel actually has shuttle service to and from train station. So be sure to call them to pick u up from the station if youre not driving. Lobby not very impressive but you’d be surpised with how clean the room is and very modern yet still traditional with the tatami set up. Would recommend to family n friends.

- Yvonne (5/5): It's an alright place to stay over but not really much to do. - Quiet and secluded. Close proximity to the cable car station. The room toilet has a bad urine stench. There was no place to hang our towels and the hotel did not provide my hangers for us to hang our clothes. Overall facilities seems a little dated but better than the others. The nearby onsen hotels have mostly closed down and there were quite a few abandoned buildings. This might be the reason why the hotel didn't upgrade their room facilities.

- Henry (10/5): - This is an older Hotel that feels like its prime time was in the 1970's and has never left that era and that was perfectly fine by us! This was a great experience we were greeted as we drove up to the property by name as they were waiting for us! The attendant grabbed our bags and lead us to the desk where we checked in and did so in perfect English. We were given our kimonos to wear during our visit which we did. We booked half board we got a nice 5 course dinner and breakfast. The outdoor Onsen was amazing and a 10 out of 10 for us!
