Tho traffic is a nightmare Arrived late and was ushered to room by Yucel who's very informative about Istanbul. Room good size and lots of toiletries inc toothbrush and paste..Good strong shower.Very comfy beds and pillows ..Only 10 min walk to happening area (tho not for the faint at heart as quite rough)or can take the hotel shuttle to Taksim square for free ..Run on the hour I think.Nice spa area with decent pool sauna etc..Swim caps are compulsory and are 5 pound each so bring your own if possible..Didn't eat/drink in hotel but Sports bar with full sized Pool table looked Cool..After sightseeing in Istanbul was lovely to get back to the calm of this hotel Would definitely recommend

However, I was charged for getting blood on the pillow and one towel, they said if any more blood then I will be charge for anything I get blood on. 5 star hotel and they could not help me out with any solutions, I will be sleeping on the floor with the pillows I got blood on, I didn't mind paying for the pillows I got blood on, they didn't help with any solutions to help me out, won't be spending another time in this hotel, was going to have a nice dinner in the restaurant tonight, I will be saving my money and buying dinners from local shops. I am currently in this hotel until the 25th of May 2026

Yucel was great, he helped us with bags upon departure, offered water, even warned us to be careful with the taxi drivers and the final charge. - tatsuyam2025 (2/5): Unprofessional Night Manager - Check-in staff were nice and had a good sense of humor. The hotel location is not very convenient, but they do provide a shuttle service to Taksim Square every hour until late at night. The lounge was excellent—happy hour meals were nutritious and tasty. Breakfast was also good, with a nice variety. Unfortunately, some wedding guests were staying on the same floor and were shouting loudly. The noise in the corridor lasted from 10:00 PM until 2:00 AM. I couldn’t sleep and tried to ask them to keep it down, but they didn’t understand English. So I called the hotel staff for assistance. I asked, “Can you tell the guests to keep quiet?” He replied, “The wedding is over! What should I do?” I said, “So is it my problem now?” He answered, “Yes!” and hung up the phone in the middle of the conversation. I never expected such a response from trained staff. I then went to the lobby and saw three staff members. Two were talking in Turkish. I asked the staff at the check-in counter if he was the one I had spoken to on the phone—he said no. The other staff member clearly heard me but didn’t respond. I asked again who I had spoken with, and the staff member pointed to him. I noticed that this person had removed his name tag, so I couldn’t identify him. I explained again that the noise was very loud. He responded, “What should I do? They are celebrities.” I asked for his name—he said it too quickly for me to understand. When I asked him to write it down, he did so and said, “You have my name—write whatever you want!” Then he walked away from the conversation again. So, Mr. Gokem, I will do exactly what you suggested. The staff at the check-in counter was helpful—he gave me a new room key and apologized. I thanked him and said it wasn’t his fault, but asked if someone could check the noise level. He called security and also offered assistance with my luggage and an option to use the new room just for sleeping, which I appreciated. I understand that guests can be noisy. I understand that weddings are joyful occasions. But I do not understand how the Night Manager handled this situation. I have been a Marriott member for many years and chose this hotel expecting a certain standard. I’m not asking for special treatment—just the level of service Marriott is known for. This hotel could have easily received a 5-star review, but the way this situation was handled was disappointing.

Το προσωπικο παντα πρόθυμο να εξυπηρετήσει καθε αναγκη . Συνολικα ηταν μια πολυ καλη εμπειρία . Το ξενοδοχειο ειναι πολυ κοντα στο κέντρο .
- aerobik1 (10/5): Pleasantly Surprised - I had a great stay at this hotel, and honestly, it was a very pleasant surprise. The service throughout the property was excellent, and the staff consistently made the experience feel warm, personal, and well managed. Levent, the manager of the lobby bar and coffee shop, deserves special recognition. His attention to detail and guest-focused approach really stand out. He is interactive, attentive, and genuinely present with guests, so the experience never feels routine or processed. You can definitely feel the difference when he is not around, which says a lot about the standard he sets. Housekeeping was also top-notch. The room was kept in excellent condition, and the team clearly takes pride in their work. I had an issue with the AC, and within minutes of reporting it, an engineer was in my room to repair it. That level of response was impressive. The executive lounge was another highlight. The happy hour spread was excellent and varied each evening, which made it feel thoughtful rather than repetitive. A few other staff members also deserve mention. Yasin at reception provided a cordial, above-and-beyond welcome and was happy to assist with my extension. Yigit was always smiling and was often the first person to welcome me back. He was also knowledgeable about the local area, which was very helpful. Overall, this was an excellent stay with standout service, strong attention to detail, and a genuinely welcoming staff. I would definitely stay here again.

Yucel was very helpful with information about the hotel and its programs/amenities. We were surprised by unseasonably cool weather but the hotel made a warm welcome for us!

We would especially like to mention Yücel, who was extremely polite, attentive, and professional. He took great care of us and always made sure that we were comfortable and had everything we needed. His kindness and helpful attitude made our stay even more enjoyable. The hotel itself was very comfortable, the service was excellent, and we felt welcome at all times. False invoice. - I stayed from November 11 to 15, 2025, and they made a mistake with my bill at checkout. 45 days later, they charged my credit card without any warning, issuing a false invoice stating I arrived and departed on December 30, 2025, without any reference to my stay. Believing it was a scam, I blocked my credit card and then contacted the hotel for clarification. They always gave me the same answer and refused to refund the unauthorized charge. Meanwhile, I was left without my credit card for 10 days due to their incompetence. I should sue them for damages for the inconvenience they caused me. I will never stay at a Marriott or Sheraton hotel again, and I advise you to stay away from the Sheraton Istanbul City Center.

- Natalia (9/5): Хороший вариант для непродолжительного нахождения - Чистый, довольно просторный номер. Гладильные принадлежности, халат, тапочки - все было в номере, дополнительные просить не нужно было. Очень хороший завтрак, свежие продукты, готовят горячие блюда из яиц, достаточный выбор. Вежливый персонал, готов выполнить не только ваши пожелания и ответить на ваши вопросы, но и даже предвосхищает их. Нам предложили бесплатный поздний выезд, причем мы даже не спрашивали о нем. Мы приехали совсем поздно, нем не менее в баре нам смогли приготовить горячий ужин по меню. Есть трансфер до аэропорта, правда не из дешевых. Также есть спа и фитнес-зал, оценить которые мы не смогли, так как приехали поздно и останавливались на одну ночь. Нам показалось, что расположение отеля не самое удачное, под окнами большая дорога. И места, по которым нас везло такси до отеля показались нам неуютными. Возможно это неправильное наше впечатление, так как приехали мы поздно и были уставшими. Но поскольку нам нужен был вариант провести ночь между пересадками, то отель был практически идеальный вариантом для этого. Видели на ресепшен расписание трансферов до Таксим, если не путаю маршрут, и, опять же, если не ошибаюсь, бесплатно)) То есть, возможные претензии к местонахождению решаются с помощью трансфера. Мебель конечно можно было бы заменить, но не критично; в душевой вода стекала с некой задержкой, но все это общее впечатление не испортило

- Etienne (10/5): - Ein riesen Dankeschön an das ganze Personal, welches einen hervorragenden Service bietet und immer nett und zuvorkommend agiert und überall wo möglich versucht zu helfen. Besonderer Dank dabei an Hossein und Sucel :) Wir hatten das Executive Zimmer das sehr schön und geräumig war. Lage ist in Ordnung und recht nahe um mit dem Taxi überall hinzukommen. Zudem steht stündlich ein Shuttle ins Zentrum zur Verfügung, welcher auch wieder vom Zentrum zum Hotel fährt. Frühstück ist wirklich super vielfältig und sehr lecker, es hat für jeden genug Köstlichkeiten. Die Aussicht ist nicht die schönste, das ist aber der Lage geschuldet und kein Problem.

Hotel has great location, good rooms, amenities (pool, sauna, gym) and great quality of food. They also provide shuttle to taksim - we use it a couple of times and it was helpful if you don’t feel like taking a walk. The highlight of the stay was the service level - it was excellent throughout. From the reception to the restaurant and of course the Concierge/ Bell service. Special thanks to Yucel, who was an excellent host through our stay.

- 829meimeiw (10/5): Sheraton a good brand, not disappointed - The hotel room is really nicely designed for your best comfort. Nice spa, traditional Turkish bath, pool, gym. The lobby is so spacious and comfortable with warm beautiful Christmas decorations, lemon tea and apples, a place perfect for chilling and relaxing. The breakfast is really good. Hotel staffs are very friendly and helpful, host Yucel was very warm hearted. This is a real 5 star hotel not like some so called ones.

The only small downside is that it can be a bit noisy since the windows face the road, but that’s just something to keep in mind, not a real complaint. I want to give a special thank you to the staff, the service here is truly exceptional. And an extra shout-out to Yucel, who was incredibly kind, helpful, and always ready to guide and assist with anything. His support really made my stay even more enjoyable.
