- Joel (6/5): Decent budget motel - Convenient budget motel location away from Chicago. Very basic but clean and the bed was comfortable. Free coffee in the check in area was available (no coffee maker in the room). An overhead light was nice but no table lamps by the bed was a bummer. Some nearby eating options such as IHOP. Overall, good enough for a one night stay while passing through

Customer service was great, the person at the front desk was very kind/ welcoming. The location is awesome, shopping, restaurants, highways very near by. I would definitely stay there again.

Even tho it was right next to the highway it was still quiet. The room did smell strongly like cigarettes which wasn’t ideal. Some sketchy residents as well. Good place for a night or two.

Price was fine and the location was close to the event I was going to in Munster. Right off the high way. Fine for solo travel, wouldn't bring kids here.

- One (7/5): Relaxing and stress-free! - I appreciate the option to utilize a landline. Very convenient and accommodating. The staff is extremely friendly with the top work ethic. My room stayed attended including upon my time gone out for work. I wasn't notified of asked about room services but I'm glad and at ease nothing was missing. The cleaning lady was estatic in her personality! I appreciate i, not many people in the work industry show they are satisfied and look with their job or whatever their business is to produce income. Over All satisfied. The complimentary toiletries could've been 99% better and a bit more later in size. The shampoo conditioner is great for hair probs to oils.

AND FRONT DESK HAD NERV TO CALL 📞 OUR ROOM WHILE WE WAS RESTING....I DIDN'T UNDERSTAND BUT I OPEN THE DOOR AND GAVE THE CLEANING LADY THE TRASH....!!!

Peeled paint, tile, fixtures missing (like toilet paper holder). It also smelled quite awful, likely unclean drains. - right under a major highway, so very loud. Soundproofing between rooms above/below is also not great. - Surrounding area does not inspire confidence, felt unsafe at multiple points. If what you need is a place to put your head down for a night on a budget, it's serviceable. Just don't go exploring the local area too much.

- Paul (6/5): - It is right next to i94. You can hear highway traffic. The immediate area is like a highway offramp. I wouldn't say i felt unsafe, but there is nothing within walking distance.

Area was OK, quiet and did not notice folks loitering and such. The bar next door was nice, ate and drank a bit there. Overall if I was in the area again would stay here.

- sharon (8/5): - I always wanted to stay at a "shady" motel. Without the "shady" 😆 this checked all boxes... it had sort of that Bates Motel feel. However!!! It was safe, clean, and I was comfortable after my inital nerves calmed down lol. It was fine.. 😁

Doesn’t look nice but is actually p - The external property gives a pretty bad impression but the room was very clean and relatively comfortable. The room was absolutely quiet even though it was just off the freeway. The hotel is quite run down on the outside and with traffic, it actually takes about an hour to drive into Chicago
- Jennifer (10/5): Great budget option with everything we needed! - We really enjoyed staying at Starway Inn. The room is obviously older and a little beat up but we didn't care about that one but. We slept great every night and had clean towels brought every day! The restaurant right next door was awesome and super convenient to the highway. We will definitely stay here again when we come back to Chicago next year!

- Michael (9/5): Superb - The hotel doesn't offer continental breakfast (they do provide coffee in the early morning), the room is nothing spectacular (bed, TV, mini-fridge, etc.,). However, for the price and location, it is wonderful and the room truly was clean and comfortable! Never had to ask anyone to clean the room or remove the trash, either. We'll definitely stay there again!

- Tracy (10/5): Great place for sleep and shower, no frills - The room smelled fresh and linens were clean. It is obviously an older (probably at least 30 years) motel and had some cosmetic changes due to its age and outdoor room entrances. Staff very nice and I thought it was a good deal for $75. It is however, next to the freeway and with the normal aging process and being an outdoor entrance, the rooms are obviously not sound proof. The AC was quiet and efficient. Again, very nice place for bed and shower, no frills.

This property was filthy snd scary looking, so I let them know I was cancelling before the deadline at 4 p.m. & they still charged me for the property! I would really like my money back, please!
