• Demet (2/5): - Wir hatten einen Tag lang kein Wasser, und wenn man sich nicht einmal die Hände waschen kann... (der Ansprechpartner sprach kein Englisch; Fragen, die ich beim Einchecken gestellt habe, konnte er nicht beantworten. Wir hatten nicht genug Handtücher; er wollte sie bringen, hat es jedoch nicht getan. Es gibt keinen Empfang; der Schlüssel wird per Code vor der Tür zugänglich gemacht. Strom und Wasser werden separat berechnet. Die Zimmer werden nicht gereinigt. Die Lage ist sehr hoch gelegen und schwer zu erreichen, auch mit dem Auto. Normalerweise bewerte ich nicht, aber das sollte man wissen. Insgesamt würde ich es niemandem empfehlen.

• Julie (6/5): Not value for money .. need to sort out security issues and reposition security cameras of the bedroom terrace … hire a - Interior furnishing’s comfortable beds infinity pool and view Wrong address on site .. takes you to another complex across the road up & down 2 very steep hills.. No communication from hosts on the 2 times phoned & txt. Ended up having to hire a 4x4 car otherwise you are stranded. Tired decor needs a deep clean fridge freezer noisy, no cooker only multi microwave & hob, faulty locks on both bedroom sliding doors.. anyone could gain access from terrace. Privacy invaded on bedroom terrace as there are 2 security cameras pointing directly onto the faulty sliding doors .. so didn’t use that space.
• Simon (6/5): Don't try and charge for everything. - The view was amazing, pool really good! They seem to just want money for everything. You have to pay for power and the main room is very hot even with the sliding doors all open, they really need curtains. They don't clean the room unless you pay, they don't give fresh towels unless you pay, being told to take their towels to clean at laundry is not good service, should have a washing machine, might help! The location is difficult to get too and the road slippery when it rains. The villa next door is under construction, the noise would start about 8am until about 6pm everyday. We also had a day with no power and the water pump drops out randomly so you can't shower. I stay in about 10 villas every year all over South East Asia, having to pay extra for everything even after you pay high price is not right. Many people will not like this. They have some work to do to improve, maybe employee some Thai people as they communicate and accommodate you very well!

• Andrew (3/5): Very disappointing stay - Apartment is well presented and has all facilities you would expect for your holiday. View is fantastic and small pool on balcony is refreshing to escape the hot and humid conditions. 2 en-suite bathrooms help with a family. - There is significant ongoing building work in the property next door. Constant drilling starts at 9am each & every day and does not allow for any relaxation during the day. No advance notice was provided by the owner which is a dereliction of care to guests and will spoil your stay. I questioned this with the owner, the response was they knew nothing about this. This is clearly untrue as we arrived on 8th April & a review is posted on 7th April by Joe from Thailand that complains about this & was told to go out for the day to avoid the noise. They therefore were aware of the issue & should have provided advance notice. - During our 8 night stay the electricity & running water went off on 2 separate occasions during the early evening until the following morning & no A/C or fans available. Heat was unbearable, nearly 100 degrees, & my 12 yr old son slept outside & had numerous insects bites. Owner rightly said they have no control but offered no apology or new bedding to replace bedding soaked in sweat. -Property up steep hills. We did not hire a car so spent a fortune constantly getting taxis to go out in the day & again in the evening. - Showers have virtually no water pressure & water trickles out & drains need unblocking as water does not drain away as expected. - Nobody at apartment to welcome us and reception was closed. After eventually finding the apartment the door had just been left open with keys inside. Check out advertised as 11am but somebody arrived at 10.10am on day of departure to tell my wife we had 2 minutes to be ready to leave. - Electricity is charged, clearly stated on the property description. However, says 8 baht per kw on site, 7 baht in the property booklet inside the apartment & actually charged at 9 baht so this is falsely advertised. - Complained to arrogant owner & received rude response ( have a nice day & look forward to your mediocre review!
• Joe (4/5): Disappointing - The villa was brilliant. Apart from the renovation next door. The property next door was being renovated and the noise was terrible, wasn't the relaxing stay we hoped for. Spoke to the staff and said nothing they could do and advised us to go out for the day while the building work continues. This wasn't possible as we had been out all morning visiting pig island it'd been an early start so would have been nice to relax after the return. This renovation noise was the whole duration of our stay which has been very disappointing.
• Adam (7/5): We’ve had a lovely 4 nights staying at atlantis 6! Would recommend. - LOVED the infinty pool & the modern chic decor Had everything we needed! Messaged about a couple of things .. fast response & helpful. Locations was good. Nice and private. You definitely need some form as transportation i.e a car or a scooter as its up at the top of a very steep hill which just isnt walkable in the heat but they are reasonably priced to rent. You can watch the sunrise from the pool everyday which is love. We felt the cleaning could have been better in some areas of the villa (ie area around the pool and shower area) Needs abit of a ”deep” clean and a freshen up with little things that dont work like the bedroom lamps. Also for £800 (£200 per night) you would think electric was included, we was mindful with air con, as was told it was expensive to run in the welcome booklet but only had it on for a couple of hours in the evening to cool the bedroom down as it is a VERY hot apartment and had days out where we wasnt using any electricity at all as on day trips etc and was 975 THB was taken out of our deposit on checkout. You can stay in small hotels for £50 a night and have air conditioned rooms all day. Its a necessity really when on holiday to be comfortable and it shoukd be included for the higher price that you pay for a luxury villa

• Charlotte (1/5): Not only a disappointing trip but a disappointing approach from the owner regarding our safety at the villa. - The view from this villa is unbeatable there is no doubt about it. Equally the interior of the villa cannot be faulted. The issue however is getting to and from the villa. The first issue is trying to get up the hill. You need a powerful car or a very experienced moped driver. Many of the taxis will not attempt to go up the hill and some that will attempt the journey will only make it half way up and you’ll be walking the rest of the way!! There is then the issue of the dogs. As soon as you enter the site the dogs start barking and running for you at full speed. You are very quickly surrounded by a pack of wild dogs jumping and growling at you. They do not back down and will follow you to your door. We appreciate there are plenty of dogs on Koh Samui but these dogs were very different. They are very protective of their territory and very aggressive. You also hear them all night barking and growling at their next victims. We have not experienced anything like it before in Thailand and there is no way to avoid them. Due to the aggression of the dogs I did not feel safe here and would certainly not feel safe bringing a child here.

• Juliyana (8/5): We enjoyed and loved our honeymoon stay at Villa Atlantis 6, everything within the villa was spectucular including the a - The view was spectacular and the villa was modern and stylish. We loved the private pool. The fact that it was on a steep mountain with potholes which was hard for some taxi’s to go up, as well as for motorcycles for unexperienced drivers.
