• peter (5/5): clean but know good if your disabled or have problems walking up lots of stairs with your cases - the stair was a killer there wasnt a lift we both have bad knees and went in to reception one week prior we wer told they would put us on first floor, when we arrived we were put on top floor.
• Roslyn (5/5): Not very nice - Nothing Had no restaurant when it was on the site i use a walking stick and my husband has Parkinson no lift for people with disabilities and you had to walk up 2 flights of stairs and if we canceled you don’t get your money back
• Sheila (7/5): It was a comfortable place to stay,. - The beds were comfortable. The room didn’t have a sitting area or a work desk, and felt quite old. The pool had an attached spa which did not seem to be working.
• Kylie (1/5): Security was poor, staff kept wedging a fire escape door open and the hall ways were accessible to anyone off the street - Good location, though a lot of traffic noise. We booked a king suite, was a tiny room with a king size bed jammed in there. Not a suite that’s for sure.

Reception advised the room we were staying in was the largest size. Was not a very big room at all. General state of building and exterior was tired in need of maintenance.

• Tex Sheedy (4/5): I was totally disappointed about my stay here and would never recommend this place to anyone - Location was reasonable. We arrived afternoon at 5.45pm and were told that there would be no pwer from 8.00am in the morning. This totally disrupted my plans. I am disappointed that we were not advised in advance of this planned outage as I am now aware of a major accommodation expansion planned for this Hotel. We were never told anything about wi-fi even though it is advertised as being available. The cold water tap in the hand dbasin would not turn off withot extreme effort. There was an absence of proper shelving in which to place clothing.

• David (7/5): Adequate room for the price, especially if only staying overnight whilst passing through town. - We needed a room for an overnight stay whilst travelling from Brisbane to Townsville. Room was reasonably priced and very quiet. Room facilities were as advertised and clean and tidy. On-site parking was plentiful and easy to access. Whilst room facilities were good, my wife didn't have the strength to turn off vanity water taps completely. Access to rooms via doors form parking are could have been better. Our key to the doors did not work very well in the western door and the eastern door did not close automatically and we had to make sure door was closed upon entry. It wasn't when we arrived. Railings of both stairwells need to be looked at as we had to be careful not to injure our hands on the metal edging of the stairs adjacent to the railings. Car parking, whilst provided, was not secure. Carpark posts need to be painted a different colour to the surrounding walls, or the walls a different colour, as there is no delineation between the two and I almost backed into a pole because I didn't discern it against the carpark wall.

Got out of the shower and stepped on floor mat and left black marks from getting out of the shower clean. Internet was poor. Tried to call reception phone number where no one answered and was not able to leave a message. Dirty scum in the drain hole of the bath. Toilet floor had not been cleaned and had blood drips (dried) on the floor. Dirty, room not cleaned efficiently, poor internet. When we booked in reception staff not friendly. People sitting in their cars under the motel and they were not motel guests.

• Rachel (1/5): Worse hotel experience - Nothing Entire reception and about 15 metres before entering door reeked of cigarette smoke. Hallways had mould on ceilings. Rooms recked of chemicals and had no ventilation. Windows sealed shut. Was only there for a total 45mins to bring and leave with suitcases and broke out into rashes.

The old fan covered in one inch thick of dirt in the hallway was a giveaway on the state of my room. The curtains in my room I would of thrown up if i had a weak stomach.

• Williams (1/5): Putrid - This hotel is not suitable to be on Bookings.com! Please call me for further details if needed. I have never been so uncomfortable and felt my vehicle was in danger of being broken into in all of my travel. I’m a single male who can look after himself & I felt ripped off and unsafe. Nothing, I stayed in my room and ordered food in and I hardly slept and I left at first light. If I wasn’t so tired when I arrived I would have rebooked another hotel.
• Rachael (1/5): Do not stay here! - The front desk lady was lovely and friendly and the location was great. Well, it was noisy, wet and SMELLY. The outside noise was continual all night. The carpets were wet and the mouldy wet odour smell was like a punch to the face. I even suggested sleeping in the car to avoid the smell.

Aircon in lounge didn't work and the remote was missing so staff must have been aware it wasn't working. Many items were missing from kitchen including a cutting knife. Someone was screaming in the hallway at 3am one morning and woke us up. Then the following day they were screaming in the block next door.

• Jenny (1/5): Awful - Book somewhere else. - This facility would rate high in one of the worse paid for accommodation I have ever stayed in, air conditioning was not blowing any air most llikly because the filters had more layers of filth then my clothes dryer when the lint has not been clean after several loads of towels. The lounge had to have a clean sheet of the bed put on it to sit on. filthy. The curtains filthy and not hanging properly, the floors disgustinly dirty, I told my grandchildren not to take of their shoes.Thick dust on every flat surface...... If I dint arrive so late at night I would of demanded my money back so that I could take my grandchildren to a cleaner and safer environment. the carpark had people down there that where obversly heavly under the influance or drugged.......

We went elsewhere and got a better price and a better place.

The bathroom floor had hair, which didn't give the impression it had been properly clean. The pillows were pretty ordinary.

• Megan (6/5): Value for money but needs a little updating. - Location was good. On the river and close to everything. Pool and surrounding areas were clean but old. Facilities and decor were old but clean. The smell on arrival was of some awful detergent but faded with fresh air. Shampoo, conditioner and soap with moisturiser were of good quality and fragrance. Water pressure in shower was great. The smell, and the mattress was to hard for me(a topper could have solved that).

The room itself is not soundproof (with much light and sound leakage through entry door and through windows) and being close to a busy road was subject to some loud traffic throughout the night. However, the gym next door opened at 4.00am and the heavy beat sound at full bore through that business' uninsulated block work walls was unacceptable. We left the motel by 5.00am to get away from it.

Within 20 minutes we booked another hotel and left. Absolutely disgusting that you guys would even offer this hotel on your website. Everything! The place was filthy, it smelt horribly of cigarettes and pot inside the building. The safety was 0, we opened the window because it smelt so musty and mouldy inside our room and the building, as we open the window, there was no safety screen and you quite literally could of jumped out the window and killed yourself. It’s was disgusting and filthy the state of the room.
